We are currently suffering in a time of unoriginality, unfunniness, and just pure un-lulz. And now that our all of our trolls are gone, and most of our funny guys are gone, the unoriginality, the unfunniness, and the un-lulz levels are going to rise. The good name of the Random forum has been soiled by months of shit.

 

Even though few people try to rid this forum of the poison that is destroying it, a few people cannot cure this problem. We need to stand up as a community to stop this nonsense. We as a community want a funny forum, right? Am I right?

 

If we do want to keep this forum funny, we must try our hardest to post funny. We must not post just to post. We must not make threads that exclude other members. We are a community, we are one. We are KH13, and damn it we have to stay KH13.

In a simple manner to say, as our beloved trolls leave this forum to live real lives (God bless their souls), the forum has gone to the shit.

Unless you have not been poking around in the eyesores, some people call threads, you would notice all the repetition and inhumorous others have been posting.

 

A forum is supposed to be about unity. A place where people come together to share their problems, or items of interest. Not a topic containing certain innuendos that only pertain to a select group. If you only want some people seeing, then don't post. It comes to my attention that some people post topic that don't involve the public, yet they post it for attention.This place is about originality, and something that everyone is entitled to take part in. Also be sure to know that everyone is entitled to an opinion, and that every opinion is just as important to the last, so by ignoring it, you just prove that you feel that yours and any alike are of greater value than the other(s). Like a friend of mine says, 'No opinion should be considered less valid than another.'

 

Just take a moment and think to yourself, that maybe no one is interested in your topic, because you or someone else has posted a thread regarding the same thing just a while ago. It's not funny when you tell everyone the same joke or sexual references every week. Unless you would like to see a write about how much I love boobs everyday. Get original. If it's written before, it's not funny the second time.

 

As I said before, to be funny, you need originality. Trying pulling the humor out of the the fresh dirt, not the digested horse shit laying around in Farmer Brown's barn. Be a follower, not a leader. Also, don't just post the first thing that comes to mind. I'm sure we don't want to know every detail and aspect of what goes on in your mind.

I agree. Not everyone's sense of humour is the same therefore what you think is 'unfunny' might be outright hilarious to others.

 

You can't just take your own opinion and say something needs to change just because you don't like it. Others have opinions and they might think the random forum is fine and full of lulz.

 

There is no lack of lulz and there won't be. As long as there are no more stupid and pitiful arguments over idiotic reasons, the random forum is fine.

When I say this, I'm just not talking about other people, I'm talking about myself, that's why I said "We" in most of my post, because I know I'm not the perfect person either.

 

And I'm not trying to restrict anybody from posting what they want, I am just encouraging more lulz and originality. If people want to post things 20 other people posted, they can do that. I'm just posting my opinion about that.

Like what SK3 said, we're not trying to restrict what people post. We're trying to do the opposite and encourage to diverse what people post on here.

 

Yes, we know the random forum is about randomness. We want it to be random. Not a place where every post is expected to be the same.

Here are a few problems that random currently has.

 

1. Duplicate threads. Not 100% duplicates but the idea is the same. These include fanclubs and take-over-the-world threads. While I do admit to taking part in the latter, I honestly do so in an attempt to try and kill it by "executing" people who oppose my rule.

 

2. Disrespect. We had a long and rather pointless debate about this a few weeks ago. Basically most of us are simply expressing our opinions, but I can think of a few members off the bat who seem they are intentionally trying to be an asshat.

 

3. Random VS General. I have been noticing that a lot of the threads being posted in random can easily fit into general. With that said, I want to encourage people to be well, random. Post something completely unexpected. Being the person that I am in real life I think I could pull it off but I've been too lazy to create threads.

Thank you Fred, I do agree with all of your points, especially 2 and 3. There's a difference expressing opinions and being an outright ass for the hell of it. And people do post general topics here, and that's not "Random". Like Zero said, we want this forum to live up to its name.

I'd say we just enjoy the current situation, sure it may be less lulz but well that's life, things change. And sometimes there's nothing we can do about it. And like Super and Koko said, people can write whatever they want so we can't restrict anyone from being unfunny, it's nobody's obligation to.
