I hope this is the right place for this. Anywho, I've been thinking about MX's motives. Basically, the reason why MX created the X-Blade (can't do the special key to make it the correct symbol) and made Kingdom Hearts appear was just so he could call other Keyblade Wielders and recreate the Keyblade war so he'll know what happened. So basically, everything that's happened in the Xehanort Saga was caused just because he was curious about what happened in the keyblade war. He didn't do it to gain power, nor to get revenge. Just for information and knowledge. What do you guys think?

yeah this is all right and nothing against you but now you make the whole series seem like its really not worth it

This goes with the cut-scene between Xehanort and Eraqus when they were talking about the keyblade war and Xehanort saying "I MUST HAVE THESE ANSWERS",I haven't thought about it until now.Nice thinking.

Xehanort says as much. It's basically a case of "Should we really be doing this?" "Who cares? I wanna see what happens!"

Yeah, I never intended to say it's not worth it, my point was that the source of all of Terra, Aqua, Ven, Sora, Riku, and Kairi's troubles was an old man wanting a reinactment. If you think about it, it's kinda silly yet also kinda sad. All the troubles in every game caused because of one stupid thing.

But that's just the thing. CAUSED by it, but Xehenort's actions caused a whole chain reactions that set off other things that caused problems for Sora and friends. But yes, in all actuality, Xehenort's quest for knowledge DID cause everyone's problems.

Exactly. It was the source of everything.

true but I think he looked for power in the process I mean in the keyblade graveyard he said "all in search of one ultimate key, and it will soon BELONG TO ME"

Well I wouldn't just say MX's plan was just to see what would happen if he recreated the keyblade war. MX wanted to merge with Kingdom Hearts and all of his forms tried to achieve this goal as well.

No, that was just Xemnas. Ansem SoD wanted to open Kingdom Hearts and unleash the darkness over all the worlds. MX just wanted to recreate the Keyblade war so he'd know what happened.
