Creating a game, need partners!

Posted

I'm not sure if this is the right section or not but anyways.

A friend and I have decided to create a 2D platform game, titled "Dark Days", a survival game, and I need some help! So far, I have on my team

-A person who knows some coding

-A person working on the storyboard

-Me, the director. I am also composing the music for the game.

We need people who can do the following on the team:

-Create sprites (Characters, monsters, items, etc)

-Write codes/scripts

-Make graphics (backgrounds and logos)

And that's pretty much it. If you are interested, please contact me immediately by either posting on this thread or PMing me.

Note: If this game is successful, all of the team might be entitled to compensation, depending on how successful it is.

Okay thanks! So we pretty much have a whole team except a coder/scripter.

i would abseloutely love to help... if i could do abseloutely any of the things needed.

good luck though

and just so people know, you might want to say what language you are scripting in (Flash/Actionscript/C++/Etc.)

If you need any extra help, I'd be happy to help with the Sprites or graphics.

I'll help if I can. What's a coder/scripter though?

Ahh you are right. I'll have to see what kind of language the program we are using has, and then I'll edit it in.

Well if you want to help, I need to know exactly what you can do.

A coder/scripter is basically the person who writes all the commands for the game.

Oh! I'd LOVE to help! making a game is my dream! can I make the character designs and possibly elp with the story? ^^

You already have a spriter? Curse these unfortunate time zones.

We have -1 spriter, so you've got the job.
