Stepping into the light

Was too much to ask but that doesn't mean I'll give up the fight

And even though I hesitated before I joined the Twilight

You chose that path and for that I couldn't ignore it any longer

I trust you when you tell me that it'll make us stronger

Living in the darkness for so long

I've been convinced to think that everything of light was purely wrong

All these years of tried to run away

I've tried to hide my tears and I would never stay

I would leave those around me because they've long since given up on me

And I knew that staying with them would mean that my heart would never be free

I never thought I'd even think of choosing a different path

I never thought I'd be bold enough to face the light's wrath

And you may think that your heart is nothing short of being dark

But I've witnessed the hidden truth unfold and it had a golden spark

I didn't think I'd find my light, I thought I was long gone

But I've come to know that you're my light and now I've seen that the darkness has done me wrong

But I can't go into the light just yet

For a new path is what my heart just met

We may stay in the path of twilight for as long as we live

But I'm sure that you agree that this path can offer us plenty more then the darkness ever had to give

(This is for you guillus but I really don't think I can stay in Twilight for long. The darkness beckons me to come back and I just can't abandoned it because it never abandoned me...)

Reikon, that was... I can't even put my words into it, it's just amazing as ever. You really are a true poet(unlike myself). The Twilight isn't something to be afraid, my love, it is something that embraces those cast out from the light, those who seek redemption, those who seek rest, those who have a hard time to decide, those who want to be safe from either sides. The Twilight has embraced us like everyone else who seeks it, with warmth and rest, with calm and sureness, like the never ending sunset.

I get what you're saying but it's still hard to take all this in. Besides the 30th is coming...
