The environment allows them the luxury of complete or relative anonymity. The environment also prevents other users from responding with physical violence or intimidation.

The internal sense of inferiority held by Internet trolls stems from lack of power in their own lives. Aww, poor little trolls. So small, so insignificant.

After that, it wasn't really funny, so I excluded it.
