July 7, 2025Jul 7 I played through the game a few years ago, but I can't really remember. lol Most likely White Mage or Black Mage, although Salve-Maker was a personal favorite of mine. If we're counting when you equip a job's abilities to another one, then I'm sure it's White Mage; whenever Agnes wasn't in that one, she was in Salve-Maker or Spiritmaster with white magic equipped. As for my least used job, I'm sure it's Monk. I tried, but the RNG wasn't on my side so I gave up early on. I barely used Spoiler Vampire and Sage since those came in so late and I was already pretty settled into whatever my setups were. I wasn't too keen on Arcanist, either, since it always seemed so gimmicky. Although I used it as the base job and added black magic on top of it a few times. I probably gave myself away, but I'm not one of those people who break the game. lol I just play it chill and don't want to think too hard or use guides. ...Although, I wasn't very "chill" for a good portion of my playthrough. iykyk. lol
April 24Apr 24 I've tried more aggressive builds like Spell Fencer or Swordmaster, but they require more micromanagement. I actually enjoyed playing without overloading myself put on a heal, buffs, and I could easily get through even difficult fights. The best thing about Bravely Default is that you can mix and match abilities between jobs, so the same White Mage can eventually become a truly versatile character. By the way, it's funny how many people underestimate Salve-Maker and they shouldn't, it's practically overkill, if you get down to it. But then again, you need to get into it, and I'm lazy 😄 Now a bit off-topic, but since we're on the topic of "what you play and how you relax," I'll share my experience. After playing JRPGs like these, I sometimes switch to something more random, like casinos or slots. Not as a "serious game," but just for fun. Of the ones I've tried, I liked this option: https://wageon-h.click/73516/8357?l=3990&utm_source=af Why this one: The interface is uncluttered, so you don't have to spend an hour figuring things out. Fast deposits/withdrawals (which is crucial for me). Lots of games, not just standard slots. Works fine on a phone.I'm not saying it's "the best in the world," but it's perfectly fine for relaxing after long RPG sessions.
Which Job did you use the most in Bravely Default?
