Welcome once again to the second installment of my trolling guide after the popular "Trolling with class" today children, we will be discussing exactly how to find someone to troll. Target acquisition is among the hardest thing in trolling, you have to find someone that doesn't know when to stop replying but could keep things going with a variations of different types of lulz.
Here are a few methods.
1. Find a flamewar! Flamewars errupt often in the internet and every website has at least one going on. The more members a site has the more flamewars there are. You also want to find an on going flamewar, something that only a moderator can put to an end. With this in mind try to keep a note of when site moderators are usually online. Trolling is most successful when it is past 2 AM of the location most of the moderators work. Once you find a flamewar take any side even if you disagree with both. Shoot down the other sides points with evidence and wait until he makes the first move with personal insults. This way you look like the victim and is less likely to be spotted or banned.
2. Set up bait. Create a thread, leave a post, make a video, start an ad or whatever you can think of. State your opinions about a subject that is very controversial and wait it out. Then wait for responses to role in. This way you can pick and choose the stupid ones who you can proceed to extract the lulz from their poor little souls. Once again, you will look like the defender when they start trying to insult you on your video or whatever.
3. Go anywhere and insist one console is better than the other. Enjoy the 30 page flamewar and plenty of targets.
4. Find others that are trolling. Trolling other trolls puts someone who knows what they are doing against you. It will be the ultimate game of strategy.
5. Type as poorly as you can, when a Grammar Nazi comes out and tries to gas you, type as best as you can and use at least 5 syllable words as often as possible. A fun tactic is to switch from good typing to bad typing with every response, the Grammar Nazi will have trouble figuring out if your a fellow SS (spell smart) officer or a 9 year old. Due to the confusion and frustration they will get really angry.
6. Two words Modern Nazis. Find one on the internet and let the lollercoster begin.
7. Go on the yahoo answers political section. Take one side and proceed to insult the crap out of the other political party. The people in the Politics section take everything seriously and the only ones that will figure out your a troll are the other trolls. It's a good training ground for new trolls.
