I realized that while watching my bf going through crappy game after crappy game.

From watching him, I've noticed these things about most of XBL:

 

 

1. People are jerks.** Seriously. I've seen them team kill over weapons and vehicles, or for no reason at all. And they're rude as all hell too.

 

2. Quite a few noobs pop up on matchmaking games. They'll use any tactic to win. Even kill stealing. Other noobs just don't help you at all. Hell, some won't even move for the whole game.

 

3. Hackers. No need to say any more than that.

 

4. If your internet is crap, don't expect to do too well online. Same goes for if your console is crapping out. My bf gets disconnected from XBL all of the time because it stops picking up the internet, even though we haven't lost it.

 

 

I'm mostly discouraged by the behavior of most of the players on there. I have never met a nastier bunch of people in my whole life. It just amazes me that people can stoop to that low of a level.**

 

So, yeah. Just wanted to rant about that after watching my bf play two appalling matches in which a douchbag team killed him for a sniper rifle and another attempted to for a tank, only to have it blown up right when he drove it out of the garage. Then he got some nasty messages from the guy wanting the sniper rifle. And there was the usual idiots who didn't know how to play.

Play single player games like Bioshock and fallout there usually better thna muilplayer games or you could get another system that's known for great single player gaming cough ps3 cough

sorry but 4 made me lol a beet. spoiler: if youre internet is crap / console is bad, you will experience xbl and xb problems.

 

i agree with others when it comes to certain games (cod, halo, etc). some games are known for a generally better community and some for a generally not so great community. thats why if youre having problems with people online try to make a game with a few friends or just keep looking for different games. i wouldnt quit xbl period just because there are some dumbasses.

lol, as i say to everyone in my year (the biggest xbox fanboys ever), PS3s are JUST AS GOOD as xbox 360s. but wii's aren't as good as either, which my year all agree on.

1. Welcome to real life. People are asses no matter where you go. But there are still quite a number of friendly people. If that weren't true my friends list wouldn't be the size it is now.

 

2. There are more tryhards than noobs and take the game way to seriously to be perfectly honest. Of course these tryhards are noobs so I guess in a way there are a lot of noobs.

 

3. There are no hackers on XBL, just modders but they can't use their mods in matchmaking so it really doesn't matter. But alas, these days hacker means someone who is better than you. I got called a hacker a lot for getting headshots all the time lol. It's not hard, just aim for the head since almost all assault rifles in games these days are fully automatic snipers.

 

4. Same thing with everything. If you have a crappy internet and then don't expect to do well with anything internet based. And if your internet sucks then try to avoid first person shooters for everyones sake. I get annoyed when someone with a 1mb connection keeps teleporting all over the place.

3. PS3/PC is 100000 times easier to Hack.

Ps3 were last one's to be hacked and i owned both systems pS3 people do seem generaly nicer online but if your playing cod or bad company,metal of horour just find a better game there tons

i have never ever encountered a hacker on a PS3 when online (and i go online alot).

 

and generally i find the people on the PS3 to be very nice.
