At my school, there are at least 300 people playing Counter Strike in breaks. When it's lunch time, they're everywhere. People with their laptops playing Counter Strike (and some are total noobs when playing it) and some even skip classes to play CS against other people! GOD THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!

in our school if someone brings a laptop in it's confiscated. and now .exe files we bring in on memory sticks will be allowed to work on the school computers. plus there are only about 10 people in our year who even know what counterstrike is.

Wow I didn't know that schools would confiscate laptops

Honestly, I never heard of Counter Strike. The big computer game craze at my school is Tetris. Seriously, any time we're given to use our laptops during the school day, 90% of the kids are on the same Tetris site. The school finally did something and blocked that site, and any other sites that had games on them. Which now I'm upset at them for doing that, because now I have nothing to do during study halls!

If we bring watches, laptops, or cell phones their confiscated. Also, what's Counter Strike anyway? Mostly everyone around here plays one of those MMOs like Adventure Quest or Runescape in school.

Counter Strike, I remember playing that years ago, I still have it on my laptop, our school craze is now DoTA.....yay DoTA /sarcasm

 

My I.T class plays U.T all the time as well though (but it's I.T, who can stay in one lesson for 3 hours and not play games, seriously)

We used to play counterstrike a lot 3 years ago but not anymore (got to focus on schoolwork). They block a lot of websites at our school so we can't watch vids/play games online, but luckily this website isn't.

these are all the differences between my school and all of yours:

- only a handful of people know of counterstrike

- if you play runescape you get laughed at

- if you play adventure quest you get laughed at 3 times as much

- you are not allowed your laptop, cell phone, games on a memory stick, anything.

- we are not allowed to go on online game sites

- they can see all our files on the school network, and if they see any games then you will be blocked

- the school computers are as old as #@*!, just sayin.

I could give a laptop, maybe. The school has given me 3. Well actually when I was in yr.7 I had to buy the laptop from the school and then in year 9 they replaced it with a better one. In year 10 they then gave everyone a free netbook as part of the governments laptop initiative thing and we got to keep the old ones. My brother just started year 7 and the laptops they get now are pretty good (better than shitty netbooks).

I had to give mine back too, but when i got it back it had windows 7 and office 2010 so I was happy.

The kids here play more of DOTA than CS. Because in the Philippines, Counter Strike is ancient history. Then again, so is DOTA, but I guess it stayed. I really don't get Filipino gamers sometimes. Haha.

2. If you play on anything that isn't an Xbox... your apparently awesome...

3. If your friends list contains anyone that isn't from school...your asking to get raped....

 

That's about how all the idiots treat gaming in school.

 

Although for the non stupid people we have done quite a number of things.

 

- We have a minecraft server that we all chip in to pay for each month which is only 3 dollars.

- We are working on creating a corporation in EVE

- Team Fortress 2= the greatest shooter EVAR

- RUSE is highly popular among WW2 geeks (such as myself)

- And we often get together and play some classic N64 and Gamecube games.
