So, I've just been thinking about that title "Dream Drop Distance" recently ever since that name has been revealed to us. I've been trying to figure out what that means. I mean, think about it guys, haven't you noticed that every KH game that has a title name in it means something? I have been noticing this ever since Days had came out. I mean this is what I mean:
"358/2 Days"- Title meaning that that's how long Roxas was in the Organization and what events went on while Sora was asleep for a year. Which is why it's called "358/2 Days".
"Chain of Memories"- Title meaning that Sora's memories are going to be rewritten and how his memories connected with people that he's met. Which is why it's called "Chain of Memories".
"Birth by Sleep"- Title meaning that Terra, Aqua, and Ven's sleep have begun and how they will they will be reborn and/or awakened from their slumber. Which is why it's called "Birth by Sleep".
Coded- Title meaning that Mickey and co. have to decode the message "Their hurting will be meanded when you return to end it". Which is why it's called "Coded"
So you see what I mean by this? The title "Dream Drop Distance" will have a meaning behind the game and will have ties to other KH games. As well as give us a hint about the game (yes the KH titles ALWAYS gives you a hint about the plot) Just like the titles I've mentioned here. So the question is "What does this title mean exactly and how will it connect with the game and KH3?". Well, like I said earlier I've been studying the KH3D trailer and I think I got an idea of what it will mean. But I must warn you, this may not make any sense to some of you all and it's very hard for me to explain it.
Well, first off let me tell you something. I don't think it literally means Sora and Riku will be dreaming. Just my thought on that since a lot of people seem to think that. Now if you've noticed in the recent KH3D trailer, we see a bunch of Soras falling from the sky. This could possibly be connected to the word "Drop" in "Dream Dop Distance". And lets not forget, Nomura said that he wants a game where a Riku flies and a Sora falls. This could be what Nomura meant by that.
Now another thing that I've seen to notice. Ansem and Xemnas was shown in the trailer and looked like they were getting ready to fight Sora and Riku. Well, has anybody noticed that it could possibly connect with the word "Dream"? And no I don't mean as in Sora and Riku dreaming. I mean like it could be just illussions of Ansem and Xemnas. Now, leys focus back on our attention to multiple Soras falling. That could also connect with the term "Dream" as well.
Now, as for the word "Distance". I'm not exactly sure about that one. But I think it might mean that Sora and Riku will be away from each other. But I'm not certain for sure since your going to forcefully switch between the two.
So, what do you think? Discuss and speculate on this theory.
