hey guys,my friend tell me that kingdom hearts 2 final mix was the LAST kingdom hearts game in ps2,was that true?

Most likely, the PS2 is slowly loosing it's grip on the video game world, so I'm pretty sure there won't be another Kingdom Hearts game for it, a main one anyways, maybe a remake, or maybe none at all.

Possibly. For some reason I heard wikipedia.com say because of some issues, KH3 could come out on exsisting platforms. This could mean PS2.

Actually, KH Re:CoM was the last KH game for the PS2.

oh,i see my bad

I was going to say that!

If you were going to say that, you would have said it in your first post. Just saying.

Square stopped making PS2 games after Re:COM. Why do you think no Final fantasy games have come out on it since..... Plus BBS was suppose to be for PS2, but it got delayed so much.

How would you know? Maybe I forgot to include it in my message. Just saying.

Hmm....maybe because you left your post at 9:58, then finished editing it at 10:00(that was your chance to say Re:COM was the last game since you forgot), then you come back and leave a post at 10:26, which was 26 minutes after your first post. So that leads me to believe you were not going to say that, and if you were, somebody said it long before you did, which they can doubt that you really were going to say it lol. Just saying.

Nomura has said there won't be any more games on the PS2. i'm too lazy to go find the interview and provide the link, but i'm pretty sure he confirmed it in an interview. KHIIFM+/Re:CoM were the last two to be released for that system.

It's confirmed, that's why we're answering this thread.

Naw, it was Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories. But in terms of chronology, you are right.

didn;t Re:CoM also came with KHIIFM well either way, I to herd that KH3 MIGHT [hey, see that, keyword Baby! HA!] be also coming ot an exsicting platform which si to say it could come out on the 360, the PS3 (maybe) or even PS2, maybe the Wii & GameCube? SO for all we know its up in the air and most likely end up on the next gen. if not probly PS2 (for back up reasons?)

well it ended for ps2 with re:com, and kh3, i highly doubt it will be for 360, if kh3 followed the other kh games, it will either be on playstation, or nintendo, or even both, if kh3 followed the other kh games on platforms. and this is just my opinion!!

Releasing something else on PS2 would be the dumbest thing they could do, business-wise. Try playing some old PS2 games on your HD-ready or Full-HD TV, you'll see what I mean :P

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories was bundled with Kingdom Hearts Final Mix+ in Japan, so technically those two together are the last KH games for PS2.

The PS2 has finished its run after a healthy 11 years, so for KH3 or another future game to be on it would be blasphemous. Our best bet is with the PS3. Once again, I doubt it will be on the X360, because Nomura's not a fan of that system, and fans of KH would go crazy. (Think of "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" being announced on X360 times 100. O_O)

The reason why I edited my post at 10:00 was because I made a spelling error genuis. Just saying.
