BACKGROUND STORY:

 

One side is the country of Amenstri. They are the bad ones. They assassinated King Tentra during his peace speech. Amenstri wanted to go to war, but King Tentra's country [semenstra] did not. King Kaled[Ammenstri] send the assassin then all hell broke loose. Queen Nayru, with her husband dead still refused to go too war. Since some citizen disagreed, they assassinated King Kaled. Now, the other Queen, Din wants even more to go to war. And killed Princess Ruby. Now, Queen Nayru wants to go to war, not only to avenge her husband and daughter, because she doesn't want any more ruthless murders.

Blade opened his eyes. He looked at her...

"Jude's training. And no need to worry about covering up to much..." Blade said groggily.

"The smallest towel will cover up more of you then that Nurses outfit ever did."

Echo, extremely flustered walked over to Blade. She picked him up with one hand and literally kicked him(with her good foot) out and closed the door. She then got changed and opened it again, "NOW you can come in!"

Blade walked into the room.

"Sorry. About what I said just now... I didn't mean to embarrass you."

Echo crossed her arms over her chest, "After the past 2 days that was the least embarrassment that happened to me. . ." she shook her head, "Anyway, how are you?"

"I'm... confused." Blade said.

"A couple days ago, I was fighting in a war, and now I'm fighting against war...

A day ago, I thought the days Itami making life hard for me were over. And now he's back. Making things worse."

Echo shrugged, "At least no-one died, yet."

"You say 'yet' as if it's inevitable."

Echo shrugged, "It's not like he doesn't mind killing. Anyway, off the topic of Itami let's talk about something more happy." She dived onto her bed and looked at him, "What do you wanna talk about?"

Blade tried his hardest to think of something positive to say...

"Well... the weathers nice."

Echo laughed, "That's all?" she seemed to be playfull, and said, "C'mon Gregory~" she said playfully.

Blade shuddered.

He hated that nam- wait... how did she know his name?

"How do you know that?"

Echo softly laughed, "Me and your parents keep in touch. I found out about Sly and asked your family. . . I saw your picture and asked who it was. They told me a lot. . . they are nice. They are worried about you, too. When I first saw you, I knew who you were. It would have ruined my undercover if I already knew your name." she finished

"Huh. What did they think of you?" Blade said, taken aback somewhat by this news.

Echo shrugged, "Your mom likes to cook for me. Reckons I'm underfed. Real nice lady, she is. She calls me 'the daughter she never had'. Your father likes to eat your mom's cooking and we sparred a couple of times. They both visit the graveyard once a week. They both are concerned about you. I saw them last week."

"Whoa." Blade said, not able to say much more.

"I barely even ever talk with my parents."

Echo looked at him, and honestly said, "Parents are people who would always be there for you. Talk to them more. They are strong, but anyone can be strong before they break. One time I went your mother was crying so hard she was worried about you. She doesn't want to loose another son. Trust me, family is some people you hold on too and cherish forever. No matter what."

In fact, one of Blades only family members that he could actually talk to, or look up to, was Sly.

He had broken away from family after he died...

"I suppose... one of these days I could try to patch things up."

Echo smiled, "Family is something, indescribable. Once they are gone, they can never come back. Make sure you ask for forgiveness before it's too late." Echo smiled at him, and got and idea and stood up. "Come on." she said and took his wrist and brought him outside to the ship. "Let's go." she pushed him in and started to fly it.

"Wait- where are we going? Shouldn't we tell the others first?"

Echo smiled at him, "I sent a signal. Jude will see the ship and be fine. Don't worry! You'll see~♥" they started to go south. . .

Blade snickered.

"You really do think ahead. I admire that quality..."

Echo shrugged, "Eh, my dad used to always say 'A quick mind is a good mind'."

After about an hour Echo had reached her destination.

She landed the ship and go out, "Welcome Home, Blade~ Your parents are up, they wake up at 5:30. COME ON!" Blade was still in the ship.

Blade hopped out.

Home... that same sweet smell. The roses by the arch of the doorway. The 'F'(for flock, get your mind out of the gutter.) engraved into the door.

"Whoa. Nostalgia."

Echo laughed and went to the door. She knocked promptly and a women answered the door. . .

 

Mrs. Flock got up "Now, I know who that is. .. " she opened the door and she was right, "Echo!" she said. She gave Echo a friendly-mom hug and kissed her on the cheek. "Sweetie, how have you been?"

Echo smiled, "I'm good. Actually, I brought my friend. You know him." she turned to Blade and nodded.

Blade was looking at his shoes, tapping the groun with his foot, hands in his pockets.
