Looks like it'll stick with the original play of the games, back when they were on Sega Genesis. And it looks like Sonic has either:

A) A little brother

B) A younger version of himself

C) A son

i saw this about a week ago, looks completely epic, no question that i'm going to buy it.

Sonic Generations (the actual name of the game btw) FTW :D

Yeah, it does look like they will keep the origional gameplay of other games. And lol at your options Azure, but I think that maybe the new version of Sonic and the old version of Sonic may meet in some universe maybe? Who knows, hopefully we'll find out more about this at this year's E3.

Yeah, this looks really good. I hope it's better than Sonic Colors (=. But we'll have to wait and see.

It's Classic Sonic and modern Sonic, together.

yeah, sonic colours is meant to have been the best 3D sonic game ever, personally i prefered the unleashed day stages.

but in regards to the video, as much as i like modern sonic, classic sonic in 3D graphics looks amazing

Haven't played Sonic since the Sonic Advanced games on GBA. After that, I stopped playing, but still liked Sonic. Trailer looks cool.

Three cheers for Sonic! Hip hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip hooray!

But seriously this is awesome news and I am definatly getting this game. Did they announce what consles the game is coming out on yet?
