Swordsmen Collide! Invasion of the Outsiders

Posted

Prologue - Masters

August 26th, 2017....

The city burned. With its vigerious and destructive flames, it tore the entire city down. People screaming for their faithful lives as buildings colapsed on them and ending their sudden suffering. Doomsday was brought upon them. Hell became reality.

As the invaders continued to eradicate the city, the two swordsmen were still locked in mortal combat. It had seem nothing could stop their ultimate battle.

"I shall end your life!" yelled the brown haired swordsman. The determination in his spirit was as big and mighty as his sword.

"Don't let your words tell the opposite, fool!" exclaimed the black haired swordsman. His blue swords deflecting the other swordsman's blade glowed as bright as his undying pride for becoming the victor of this fight.

The two kept coming at each other with their powerful blades. Clash after clash. Their grips hardened. Their teeth clenched together. Their stares threatened each other.

The brown haired swordsman rose his sword in one last resort. The black haired swordsman lunged foward to the final strike. But human flesh was not hit, but only their swords. As the contact was made, a sparkingly light flew down from the Heavens and illuminated on the two. The light was, however, too strong. It overpowered the scene, and in a bright flash, the two swordsman vanished.

The invaders' ships then began to depart into the black sky. Their image grew smaller and smaller, until virtually nothing was there. They too had vanished, blending into the night.

24 hours before the invasion...

Tokyo, Japan.

August 25th, 2017.

The Mastery Ceremony.

"I'm late! I'm late! I'M LATE!" cried Sparrow. Ah yes, Sparrow Matusda. Eighteen, brown haired, green eyed, skinny yet slightly buff. Your average teenager. Today is his Mastery Ceremony, where he will be a full pledged swordsman for the Matusda clan. It seems that our unlucky hero has overslept yet again. He has not learned his lesson of not being lazy. But who can blame such a nervous kid for oversleeping. Slight shut eye from after constant worrying over his Mastery Ceremony, no wonder he would oversleep. Getting dressed, fixing his crazy hair, making his bed, and grabbing a snack along the way, all for one purpous. Walking out the door, he checked the time. Fourteen minutes and fifty-eight seconds. He still had plenty of time, but he must rush. As they say, time flies. Off to the big house, where his title shall be earned, for all his hard work and training will be not regreted.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Yamamoto was not late. He had risen early than what he should have. To make sure he did oversleep, unlike goofy Sparrow. Surprisingly, his Mastery Ceremony was also today. Sebastian was also eighteen, but black haired, blue eyed, and just plain skinny. Not much of an average teenager. As quiet and ready as a predator hunting for its prey, he is the complete opposite of Sparrow. He didn't worry. He was determinded. But slow and steady did win the race for him. With lots of spare time, he took it by doing his normal routine every morning, taking his time. He felt prepared. With half an hour left on the dot, he decided to leave early. He didn't think the teacher wouldn't mind. The big house waited for him.

Sparrow smashed through the door to gain entry for his ceremony. Inside were lots of people from the Matusda clan. The teacher looked at Sparrow strangely. Sparrow bowed down extremely fast and said, "Forgive me for being late Sensei. I promise I won't do it again!" He continued to give him a stare but then sighed. He had said, "Sparrow my pupil, the ceremony is in five minutes. Please calm yourself." Sparrow looked up in happiness and then whistled as he crashed onto the floor, his relaxation from knowing he wasn't late.

Sebastian walked through the door to find not too many people from the Yamamoto clan there. He must of been a little too early. His teacher saw him from afar and smiled. He waltz to him and had said, "Ah, welcome Sebastian. You are just a tad bit early. You may stay in here while our guests come in. In the meantime, settle down for a bit and relax your mind. Your ceremony shall be soon." Sebastian nodded and had taken a seat, closing his eyes.

3...2...1...it was time. The hand had now struck 9:00AM. The ceremony can now begin.

The teacher began to speak. "Welcome brothers and sisters. As you may know, my fine pupil has worked very hard to achieve a place in our community of swordsmen. It is now today that he may now experience what it is like to be one of us. Taking in consideration, he has shown the capacity of becoming a Master and for that, he will become one. Without further a do, I shall end my speach and finally pass my student as a Master".

"Please welcome our new Master, Sparrow, into the swordsmen brotherhood of the Matusda clan!" The crowd cheered for Sparrow, as he smiled and put his hands behind his head.

"Allow us to accept our new Master, Sebastian, into the ranks of the Yamamoto clan!" The crowd heavily clapped for Sebastian, while he bowed down to them.

It has been offically been done. Sparrow and Sebastian have now earned the title of Master.

"I wish I can rub this in the Yamamoto's faces!"

"A shame that the Matusda clan will have to face another challenge."

Their antagonizing, bragging remarks will be tested tomorrow. For when they come....

And so begins the story of Swordsmen Collide! Invasion of the Outsiders.
