Yao

Kingdom Hearts II

Story

Yao is a minor character from the Land of Dragons in Kingdom Hearts II. He is one of the three warriors who joined the Imperial Army of the Land of Dragons, alongside Chein Po and Ling. He is the shortest, both in stature and temper among the three. When Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Mulan attempt to join the army, Sora tries to get in line when Yao cuts in front of him. When Sora tells Yao he cut him, Yao punches him in the face, which leads to a massive brawl between himself, Sora, Donald, Chien Po, and Ling. Goofy tries to break it up while Mulan (disguised as a man, Ping) succeds in breaking it up. At first he hated Sora and the gang, but softened up after they saved China from Shan-Yu and the Heartless. Yao is later seen at the Summit carrying a rocket with intentions of killing Shan-Yu. During Shan-Yu's invasion at the Palace, Yao helps Li Shang and the other soldiers protect the Emperor of China. After you defeat Shan-Yu, you can find Yao outside at the entrance of the Village. During the end credits, Yao is shown spying on Mulan and Li Shang with Chien Po and Ling. But the three soldiers are discovered when they fall down, alerting the couple. Yao means "one" (the number) in Chinese.

Are you sure Yao means one in Chinese?
