Well, I now have purchased my third PSP game, and if you are any good with acronyms, you'd know that the game is Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core. Well, I've made quite a good deal of progress in the game if I do say so myself, and during my game play there was something that I noticed that was quite peculiar. In the Shinra Mansion in Neibelhiem (Probably misspelled that), there is a room with a safe in it (I haven't figured out the combination yet, though I know part of it has to do with the 'dumbapple' and chairs), and there is a clue on the floor near it, for the 4th digit, it says '4rd digit', 4rd?! I mean what the heck, what is up with that? I seriously don't see how someone could make a mistake like that. What are your thoughts on that?

I haven't played CC in a while, but what I'm pretty sure happened there is that the numbers were written as Xrd. X being every number past 1. So they simply replaced X with 4 rather than writing it manually...

Well you've got 2 options: It's a clue to the 3rd number being 4; Or it's just badly written.

Interesting, I never noticed that during my playthrough of the game; it's been around 3 years since I played it. Anyways, it's just a minor misspell mistake by a translator in the US localization team at Square Enix. One of the famous text error from them is the "This guy are sick" line in (what a coincidence)the original FFVII. This can happen on rare occasions with other companies with wrong text words/misspells in cutscenes or chat dialogue or stuff gets lost in translation from the original Japanese version or other stuff like that.
