So, there are a few speculations and theories I want to share with you all:

 

Vanitas' return?:

As you all know Nomura has stated that Vanitas Remnent is canon to the KH series. So this definiely means that BBS isn't the first and last time we will see old Vanny again. So I bet you're thinking "but how will Vanitas return? If you've noticed, he was defeated and completely destroyed by Ven". Well, if you all remember, Vanitas' remnant is made up of Vanitas' negative feelings and emotions. So maybe that will somehow play a role onto the possible return of Vanitas. Like maybe somehow with the help of his negative feelings, and probably other people's negative feelings, that may somehow have Vanitas return in a physical form. Only probably except without the look of Sora judging from his remnany (but I could be wrong about that).

 

Xehanort's return:

Now as you all know, Nomura (as well as Master Yen Sid) has clearly stated that Master Xehanort will return. Now as I might guess, it is very possible that MX may return as "Apprentice Xehanort" since he is the sombody of Xemnas and Ansem SoD. That would make the most sense for him to return in that form. Now if you all remember correctly from Blank Points (the secret ending in BBS) Terra and Master Xehanort had an argument over who would be able to control Terra's body. In my honest opinion, I really think that Xehanort will be the one in control of "Apprentice Xehanort" and somehow find a way to return to his youthful self again. Now I know what most of you all find this a little crazy but hey, it could happen. Think about it, don't you find it a little to mysterious whenever young Xehanort turns around to show his face but gets crnsored by someone/something else? I think Nomura's just trying to say that we'll see young Xehanort in most likely KH3. Plus, Xehanort is pretty much desperately trying to find ways to live longer.

 

Mysterious Figure:

Now let's talk about mysterious figure. Although there isn't really too much news about him, it's hinted that he uses powers concerning time. Along with other powers similiar to the Organization. Now a lot of people seem to think he must be a time traveler. But I really don't see how he could time travel. For one, the cutscene, as well as the fight itself, isn't nowhere near cannon. If it was cannon, then how can he fight Terra, Aqua, and Ventus when:

 

1. Ven's in a comotus state in C.O. and his heart is with Sora's body.

 

2. Terra became possessed by Xehanort and lost his memories.

 

3. Aqua is trapped in the RoD.

 

So you see how this entire fight with him is not cannon at all? Plus, how is it that LoD is well again when it got destroyed by Xehanort's doings and Aqua changed it to C.O.? So there is NO WAY he could have time traveled. Because if he did then Aqua/Terra/Ven would probably talk about him at some point.

 

So this is all I had on this. What do you think?

vanitas maybe returns and im sure (cause kh3d is connected to bbs) that we will see some flashbacks from him and others.

xehanort will return in 3d and maybe some of organisation somebodies too.

we cant be sure when MF is gonna reveal himself/herself (possibly he) but i hope its happening in 3d.

aqua can always turn CO to LoD back even thought sora sealed its keyhole in CoM.

by the way that fight wasnt cannon but MF himself is cannon.

we know Vanitas and Xehanort are coming back. In my honest opinion i am not sure which nobodies are coming back as somebodies but i believe we will see Xigbar, Xion, Vexen, Zexion, Demyx, Axel Larxene, and maybe Marluxia. and i am praying that Xaldin comes back

 

Xigbar: for the simple fact that he seemed to chilled when he died, unlike most of the others who had some feelings of remorse or agony, he simply accepted his death. Plus he is Master Xehanort's right hand man, he knows things that Xemnas is even unaware of.

 

Vexen: he played to much of a major role in the story not to come back, he created Xion as well as other replicas( i am indicating that there may be more replicas of other people). and also, like Xigbar he is one to know alot and keep it to himself

 

Zexion: his character was brifly explanned, and they might bring him back because of fanservice

 

 

Axel: main character,friend of Roxas and Sora, enough said

 

Demyx: fanservice

 

Luxord: nothing is explanned about Luxord, they probably want to go into deeper depp in his character, not to mention he is Norouma's fav Org13 member

 

Marluxia: he is far to powerful to not come back, and another that might return because of fanservice

 

Larxene: fanservice

 

Xion: friend of Axel and Roxas, clone of Sora, seginfagent to Roxas romantically, enough said

 

Xaldin: I hope Xaldin comes back, he is my thrid fav member of Org 13 only under Xigbar(1st) and Xemnas (2nd)

 

As for Mysterious figure, he may be a even bigger main villian then Master Xehanort, i say this because when Xemnas made his apperence in khfinalmix he was the main villian in 2. it might be the same for MF.

 

I am hoping that there will be more keybladers

 

truthfully i think they should make a Kingdom hearts Keyblade War online, so you can create your own character and fight in the keyblade wars. they never explanned the story behind that and i want to know in full deph what happaned in the keyblade wars and the time before the worlds became swallowed in darkness. plus it will be a good chance to create characters and see yourself as a keyblader.

For Kingddom Hearts 3, like most people here,I agree that Vanitas will probably return. Also, Terra, Ventus and Aqua will be saved by Sora. Who knows? They might even appear as party members or playable characters. And as for Xehanort, hmmm, maybe Terra frees himself from him, and then Xehanort has to look for a more stronger body, making him ten times stronger than in his previous form. I'm just guessing :huh:
