There should be a logo for the site. It makes it easier to recognise the site with a visual representation and it could also be used in the icon next to favourite links. Like how gmail has the envelope and game faqs has the the blue G.

I think you mean the favicon. This is the little image that goes next to the URL in the address bar.

 

We currently do have a favicon, and it's a little blue crown. Doesn't this load properly for everyone? I suspect Internet Explorer might have some problems with it.

i have internet explorer and all i see is the little internet symbol thingy...no crown.

oh, i see it now, it wasn't working for my internet explorer but its works for my safari.

Well, I think I've fixed the favicon issue. It seems like IE doesn't support them in PNG format... in any case, IE7 is now loading it properly. It might take a while for you to notice the change, I'm not sure.
