I edited/made the model :U

Will link credit for "parts" and stuff when I get around to it /shot

The colors of the actual model are kind of bloomed because of the MMD effect... they're actually not as vibrant. It's just the way the effect messed with her colors. idkwhybutIfoundthatprettywhenIwasdoingit /shot

But ehh, what would be a good name for her? o3o

I'd call her a work in progress, but idk what else to do... o3o

I'd say that is an improvement from : http://s124.photobucket.com/albums/p2/sassafrazz44/?action=view&current=KairiWIP.png , http://s124.photobucket.com/albums/p2/sassafrazz44/?action=view&current=kairidress-2.png

Program: MikuMikuDance + MikuMikuEffect , PMDedtior

Yeaaaah...

I might consider making some models for people if they want to help me practice editing and ask nicely in PM's

o-o Although the focus was also the model + picture together, thanks! <3

I have never seen that program before o.o Is it just for editing already made 3d models or can you make your own models in it?

Your right about the effect messing with the colors. Your character is too washed out. If you could lower it, or render a picture without it and overlay it with this in another program, I would do that. Also, the shadows are grainy. You can either increase the Dmap resolution for sharp shadows or the dmap filter size to make them blurry (assuming the program works like other 3d programs >.<).

Anyway, just some ideas. I'm still really intrigued by what you're using...

It's a free animation program that's named after the Vocaloid Miku Hatsune. In my opinion it's very limited and lacks what other 3D modeling/animating programs have to offer, and I'm not entirely sure how to use the program to it's full potential with my lack of experience with it. o3o

The most common use for it is to make PV's or just plain old Dance videos. There are plenty examples of those on Youtube.

MMD is animating for already made models that you can then edit through it's modeling "size-program" PMD editor.

PMD Editor is basically where you just re-edit models by putting clothes and stuff on another "base" you would use. It's not exactly making it from scratch, but you can manipulate the modeling/bones/physics/coloring/textures to however you desire. But you would have to use a different program such as Metasequoia (I think that's the one most people use that have MMD) to create something from scratch.

I'm bad at explaining it ;A;

This site kind of explains it better than I do :

https://sites.google.com/site/mikumikubeat/bulletin-board

But I have no idea at all about the shadowing stuff. There might be some effect you can use on with the effects add on but I would have to go look on niconicodouga or something for one. D:/shot

That's pretty cool. It seems like a good program for people to do 3D without learning to use 3DMax and such. The kanji is very intimidating xD I'm guessing there is an english plug-in to fix that.

Hopefully you can find something about shadows on there. I don't even know that program or if it lets you do your own lighting, but it should be part of the lights settings. If you can't find anything, try looking up "depth map". That's the more specific term for it.

That is so pretty! You're really good at MMD. That model is so cool, too. Violet might be a good name.
