Okay, I just finished Alice last night, and I'm still lost on the ending. as far as I see it, there are two possibilities:

 

1) She really was released from Rutledge, sent to the orphanage, Bumby really killed her family, and she pushed him in front of a train.

 

Or...

 

2) She's still in Rutledge and it was all in her head. Dynah still burned the house down.

 

Knowing the game, it could be either one. That one flashing scene of Alice in the asylum at the end throws it all off. Any ideas?

that game was so messed up, I had absolutely no idea what was going on the whole time, so I just sat down quietly and played the game, no questions asked

<spoiler>can i say something can i? her pyscitirist is evil he stalked his sister and raped her sister and set the house on fire alice finds that out and is rightfully furious... (oh and he also turns his patients into mindlessprostitutes) she pushes him infront of a train near the end of a game hes connected to the doll maker whos enslaveing wonderlands insane children by turning them into dolls after all hurt alice you hurt wonderland... she has dilusions of her being back in rutlage farther into the game </spoiler>
