KH3 isnt going to be too far away. It has already been announced that there are only 2 more KH games before KH3 comes out. Birth By Sleep Volume 2, and Dream Drop Distance. Both of which we can expect after new years. Tetsuya Nomura is a huge fan of the main storyline. He wants to see the Xehanort Saga finished, and soon. I suspect, that if we get the other two after new years as planned, we should see KH3 release alongside a Bundle pack of with the KH 1/2 HD Remakes Probably sometime around the Holidays of 2014.

You forget about Versus 13. They have to finish that before they can start KH3.
