20 years after Kingdom Heats II, Sora and company have lived happy lives. Sora and Kairi, after getting married, had three children. The youngest, Ciel, was the first to show being the Keyblade's chosen one. His older brother, Kurai, was the second. Ciel's older twin sister, Mamori, was also chosen by the Keyblade, however, she lacks the ability to summon it on her own. The happy family lived happily on Destiny Islands until a strange event happened. A light burst from the ocean, blinding everyone when it touched the sky. Later, everyone awoke to find that the worlds were frozen in time. Only those who had a Keyblade(or were affected directly by its magic) were unaffected. Men in white robes appeared, warning everyone that a great evil would be coming soon and to train hard. Sora and Riku left Destiny Islands in search of King Mickey for guidance. When time resumed Kairi had been instructed by Ventus, who had come to visit, to allow the children to come with him for training. Kairi agreed, on the condition she could tag along. The Keyblade Master creating a signal to send all Warriors of Light to Castle Oblivion for training. And so our story begins...

Bio: As the youngest of Sora's children, Cecil always felt the need to try and keep up with his siblings. Despite being the first of them to be chosen by the Keyblade, Cecil noticed that his brother was always three steps ahead. The day before the incident, Cecil promised Mamori that he wouldn't let his jealousy get the better of him. His Keyblade was passed onto him by Riku, who agreed to to train him as well, sensing that something terrible may befall him and his siblings.

Bio: The eldest of Sora's children. Kurai had a habit of dreaming about other worlds and people, often coming up with excuses as to why Sora should take them on a journey when they were younger. Nowadays Kurai is much more serious and trains frequently for combat. He has nicknames for his siblings; calling Mamori "Queen" and Cecil "Knight", both of which he says sarcastically.

Appearance: Kurai has violet blue eyes, dark red hair, and slightly pale skin. His hair goes down just below the shoulders. Kurai wears a black zip-up jacket with two extra zippers, slightly baggy navy jeans, a black belt with silver lining, and black sneakers with complicated, intersecting, white lines. Kurai is also tall and muscular.

Bio: The middle child of Sora. When she and her siblings were younger, Mamori worked as a mediator between her brothers when they argued. At one point in time she did summon her Keyblade, but it faded away shortly after that. Mamori was the only one of her siblings before now to leave the Islands, going to Radiant Garden with Sora to learn how to make potions. She is also the only one of her siblings to have met The King, who visited her personally a few years ago. The one who bestowed upon her a Keyblade was Kairi, with a little help from Ventus.

Appearance: Mamori has brown, straight, hair which flows down to her shoulders with a bang which parts to the right. She has clear blue eyes. Mamori wears a red strapless mini-dress made up of three zippers (two appear to be just decorative) as well as a black halter top underneath her mini-dress with a white hood. She also sports three bracelets on her right wrist, a white belt reminiscent of suspenders, and lilac sneakers.

Kurai stepped through the portal. When he arrived in Yen Sid's chamber he handed him the Keyblade. How will this help us? Sure, its pretty but it doesn't look like it has any specific powers." Kurai had no idea what magic Yen Sid planned on using to give the Keyblade the ability to revive someone, or even who he planned on reviving. Yen Sid simply glared at the Keyblade.

"This Keyblade is a Keyblade of memories. As you yourself felt. The memories of those who were tortured were sealed inside of it, even though their torment ended long ago. I can use this power to revive someone from these memories back to life, although I am not sure if that is a safe measure, due to his beliefs."

"Who do you intend to revive?" asked Lea, intrigued.

"A man known as Master Eraqus. While he is powerful, he is also bias. Eraqus believed Light was meant to reign supreme, when in reality, balance is required for peace. Now, Kurai and Lea, depart from here. I need to speak with Sora alone.

"Understood." said Kurai who walked back through the door that brought him here the first time. Lea simply nodded and opened a portal of Light that led to Radiant Garden, his home world and the world where a majority of the Keybearers allies are stationed.

Chuck arrived at his hometown and headed toward his house. He went in and spoke with his mother. She had told him that from what she knew, his father was a researcher, and that he left some of his notes and reports there. He thanked her and went searching for them. After a while, he found and read them. They were identical to the Ansem Reports, that were actually written by the apprentice Xehanort. There were also some of Master Xehanorts reports. At the end of them was a note, with his name on it.

 

"To my son, Chuck. When you read this, I will be gone. Your masters may have told you terrible things about me and made me seem like a villain, but it is not true. I merely wanted to uphold balance. My goal was to create the X-blade, the ultimate weapon as well as the Key to Kingdom Hearts. With it's power, I could have achieved balance, however Sora and his friends are trying to put a stop to me. If you are reading this, then they succeeded and the Light has grown too powerful. It is your duty, my son, to get rid of the your old masters, thus regaining balance."

 

Chuck was shocked by what he was reading. It went on, telling him about the Keyblade Graveyard, where he would find his Keyblade, telling him about the power it has to split light and dark from someone's heart, as well as telling him how to create the X-blade.

Heron sat in his room, crying silently. He choked out a sob and remember all the times they went to get ice cream. He felt anger. "If only Aqua and Ventus passed us sooner, we wouldn't be in this mess,' he thought. He left his room, just exploring the castle. He still couldn't get it out of his mind. He felt a strange attraction to the daughter of Sora. "Stop it,' he reminded himself. 'She is 5 freakin years younger than you.' He sighed. He knew one thing. He was going to get Vemus back.

Chuck put the notes away and left his house. "So, I must go to the Keyblade Graveyard and get my father's Keyblade." he said to himself. He looked around and spotted Lea and Kurai. "What are they doing here!?" he thought. "Maybe they found out the truth and went to take my father's notes! I'll put a stop to them!" He summoned his Keyblade and ran at them.

Lea turned around and summoned his weapons.

"What're you doing?" he said, ready to fight Chuck.

Kurai summoned Oblivion and stood in a defensive position. "He's serious...What happened to him?" 'he said. The darkness had gotten to him and was starting to affect his body. "Damn it. I can't fight like this." Kurai whispered to himself. Lea heard him, however, and opened a portal back to the castle behind Kurai. He pushed him inside and charged at Chuck.The portal closed before Kurai could do or say anything.

 

At the castle Cecil was talking with Master Aqua about something.

"I don't know what is taking him so long. He should have been back by now." Aqua said.

"Maybe I should go find him? My brother does have a habit of doing more than necessary when given missions."

"Don't worry he'll be back soon. We will send a search party if we hear news of him being defeated in battle." Aqua reassured Cecil, who accepted this and walked away. Mamori had walked around the castle some more and walked over to Heron's room. She knocked on the door. "Can I come in?"

"You guys destroyed my father!" he said, slashing at Lea. "Now I'm going to get revenge on him!" His eyes turned red and his ears grew pointed as the darkness in his heart grew. Tendrils of darkness emanated from his body.

Heron was thinking about the vision he had, and whether or not he actually had to fight Chuck. Chuck was his friend (Or he at least thought he was). As far as he knew, Chuck was not evil. Or was he? It seemed Xyks had an interest in Chuck, as well as Vemus, and Heron, himself. Was it because of the Darkness inside all three of them? What was Xyks trying to accomplish? A memory entered his mind. A deeply buried memory.

 

"Hey, Heron, I bet I could beat you in a race to the top of hill," his best friend said. "No way," Heron replied. "Uh huh, she replied. They happily ran to the top of the hill. Of course, Heron won. They sat in peacefulness.

A knock on his door interrupted his thoughts. He heard Mamori call out "Can I come in?" He got up and opened the door.

Dax safely landed on the island chain. He got out and saw some houses on a VERY big island."No Heartless to fight,no fun." muttered Dax. Just then, 10 novashadows appeared. Dax gulped.

Vemus sat in a house in Twilight town, wondering what the best way to kill Heron was. He chuckled. There was no way Heron would win. And of course, who knows, Heron might be killed fighting Chuck. He chuckled again. Heron was weak. Not good enough. Unimportant. Horrible. He got in the way of Vemus's advancement as a Keyblade wielder. So, Heron must die.

Dax destroyed one Novashadow then charged through the gap he left. He got into the Gummi Ship and blasted off. He then went back to C.O. to train more.

"Yo, vemus, my main man, hee hee." said Xyks appearing to vemus.

Vemus replied "GO away Xyks."

"Aww, what's the matter?, not happy to see your best bud?, hee hee." said Xyks in a mocking tone to vemus.

Vemus just ignored him and continued to think deeply.

"Thinking about heron are you?" said Xyks now in a serious tone.

"Yea, I am." I am gonna kill him."

"The prophecy never said you were the one who was going to kill him, chuck is." said Xyks

"I don't care!" he growled. "Chuck can die in a hole for all I care!"

"However, it did say you had SOME big major involement in the prophecy." said Xyks
