I just dont understand how someone could do that. Ive only done something sort of like that one summer when I got Megaman Starforce 3, but I was still active. Seriously I play games for about 30 minutes and take a break that lasts a while because I have better things to do in my life besides video games. I just cant feel sorry for someone who does something like that. I love video games, but 5 to 6 hours in one day should be a limit regardless to having health problems or anything. Looking at a screen that long messes with your vision over alot of time (Like loud music in your ears can mess with them over time).

My parents used to limit us to 2 hours.

Which is the most I play even willingly.

But his is an adult...

While it is confirmed loud music will mess up your ears. There isn't any concrete evidence that staring at screens messes up your vision. Of course if you press your face against the screen or try to look at it from a mile away you will have problems

According to the New York Times “Sitting close to a television, or computer screen, isn’t bad for our eyes. It’s a variety of other factors that can cause physical fatigue.”"

If you don't believe doctors then you can here what I have to say. I've been staring at computer and television screens for hours upon hours a day ever since I was born (my dad has a baby picture of me playing on the computer xD) and guess what, I have 20/20 vision, some kids in my school never use their computer or TV and have to wear glasses or contacts.

My parents used to put me a limited time to play PSX, and it was 45 minutes.

Now I can play as long as I want, and I only play and hour and a half per day.
