Does anyone know if they are getting the Disney characters to be voiced? Games like codded and 358/2 and chain of Memories just have the bubbles when they talk, however I feel like this one will be more like BBS and have the Disney Voices as well. Please if anyone knows anything about it yet let me know! Thanks

I'm hoping the original cast for The Hunchback Of Notre Dame come back to voice this game (Sucks Frollo's va is gone, his voice was epic. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png ) if they could come back to voice that gawd awful sequal, then they can return for this. -crosses fingers- xD

well seeing how 3ds seem it be like psp quality imo i wouldnt be surprise to hear the disney chatacter voiced but we will see.

Coded Days and CoM had very limited space, so they used text bubbles most of the time. Re:CoM had a very small budget, so only some of the cutscenes got voices. DDD has a full budget and plenty of space, so there's no reason there won't be voices.

The 3DS is beyond PSP quality. It's more around the original X-Box's quality. 3DS cartridges can hold a more (A LOT more, depending on which model of cartridge Square uses) than a PSP UMD.

They won't downsize the game to fit a cheaper cartridge. Not for a franchise that makes a good some of money. The cheaper ones are mostly for kiddie games that won't sell a lot anyway.

I think they will. We got to see a cutscene of Sora jumping off of the clocktower, which means we'll have cutscenes in the Disney worlds. In the other DS games we only had cutscenes in the KH worlds. I'm crossing my fingers for lots of cutscenes.

Same here, I love me some cutscenes. <33

1- Franchises that make money tend to do this to make more money ;)

2- Kiddy games tend to not be very resource intensive, so they fit on cheaper cartridges. It doesn't mean they'll sell less. Look at the LEGO games. They sell like crazy.

3- That trailer was non-canon. Nothing besides the gameplay is actually from the game. For that matter, we STILL haven't gotten official confirmation that that's even a Disney World.

It's not really that much cheaper. But Square Enix has a tendency to use most, if not all their resources anyways. Look at Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSP. It's the first game on the system to required TWO disks. Similarly, I believe it was Days that used about %80 of a DS cartridges memory(Don't quote me on that, I heard it a LONG time ago)

Basically, Square loves squishing as many resources onboard something as they can.

Oh, I know franchises tend to do this, but SE usually doesn't. Just like you said with the two disks for Type-0, that had to double of the UMDs but they did it anyway instead of cutting the game's size. If it went over 1mb of the cheaper cartridge, they would probably find something to cut but it sounds like they're are going to use as much memory as they need to make this title like a numbered one.

And by kid games I was thinking those spin-offs of Dora the Explorer and stuff. But you're right. Lego has done well to make a good game with little memory. More memory usage doesn't always mean a better game ;)
