So, which game did you prefer? Kingdom Hearts or Kingdom Hearts II?

 

I personally prefer playing the original KH... I find that the script in the second game is of poorer quality and that the storyline was much better in the first KH. For example, in KH2, when you go to a Disney world, the plot of the world is almost identical to the Disney movie. In KH1, however, they incorporated new ideas-- like with Halloween Town, for instance. In KH1 the plot is to do with them creating a Heart and it being stolen by Oogie Boogie (which is original), where in KH2 they simply follow the plot of the movie.

The original kh. Especially the fm version.

Kh 1 all the way. I prefer the overall story better, and the charm each world had. Kh2 had a really good story too, but the original got more emotion out of me, which I chalk up to better writting. Yeah Kh2 had amazing worlds, but they felt thin despite second visits. Gameplay wise, ive never had a problem with the Kh1 camera, while the KH2 camera felt too far back and impersonal. Also I felt they sold out by taking out some of the platforming elements, and choosing to make Atlantica a minigame world because it wasnt popular (althouhh I enjoy both versions). Add to that the fact that Kh1 was more of a challenge, and u see why I prefer it over its sequel. But despite my gripes, I did enjoy KH2.

I definitely enjoy the first one more. Aside from some technical polishing I think KH2 was rather poorly done.
