I'll do it with you. (:

Maybe you should explain the plot a little, though. xD Which pairing(s) would we be using?

  • Author

Thanks ALOT! xD Anyways the pairings are... Ugh Sora and....RIKU! There I said it! My friend loves yaoi and wanted me to do a yaoi story! DX

Oh, alright. I was thinking you meant Sora x Kairi or Roxas x Namine type pairings. xD But alright. Do you want to start on this thread, or create another?
  • Author

Let's start on this one. I'll try to be on as much as I can because school for me starts tomorrow. Anyways you start first and you're Riku and I'm Sora! :D

Oh, my school doesn't start for another week. xD I almost wish mine would start so I can get the first day over with.

Riku stared at the ocean boredly. It was a pretty sight, yes, but something was missing. It was just so... so familiar. He could see it from his house, from his friends' houses, wherever he went, it seemed to be the backdrop. The waves lapped his shoes softly. As boring as this sight had become to Riku, it was still peaceful. He had plenty of memories of him and Sora as kids playing here. The sounds of birds cawing overhead, occasionally children's laughter, and the gentle sound of the ocean as it touched the shore. With a sigh, he sat, the warm sand quickly rising around him. Maybe Riku shouldn't be sitting here-- shouldn't he do something more productive? This was a beautiful moment he could access whenever he wanted to. Still, the warmth of the beach and the sense of serenity were something he didn't feel like giving up, even if for just a few hours. The sand behind him shifted, and Riku turned his head slightly. "Hey, Sora,"

Sora was looking down but then looked at Riku."Hey Riku." Sora said with a sigh as he fake smiled."What's wrong?" Riku asked. "It's just...Kairi..." Sora started to shead a tear."Sora you're..." Riku stopped. Sora noticed and wiped it away."Seriously what's wrong?" Riku asked again as he put his hand on Sora's shoulder."Kairi dumped me for Wakka!" Sora yelled making Riku jump a little. Sora then layed down on the sand with his hands behind his head."Sorry..." Sora said.

(Wait, are we BOTH controlling Riku & Sora then? /Is confused)

Riku sighed. He wasn't much of an expert with dealing with break-ups and love. Still, he tried to comfort his friend. "Hey, it's no big deal. Kairi will come to her senses. Wakka's hair will start to scare her eventually." Riku smiled encouragingly, hoping Sora's reaction would mirror his own. When his face didn't light up, though, Riku laid down in the sand next to him. "I'm sorry, Sora. I know you really liked Kairi. But you've still got plenty of years left in you. You'll find someone else," He tried to assure his friend. "Maybe someone you're a lot closer to than you thought..." Realizing this comment was probably a bit out of place in such a conversation, Riku quickly changed the subject. "Hey, do you want to play a game? Or have a swimming contest?" Riku jumped up, looking down to Sora expectantly. "You can't mope around all day. You've got to do something."

(Well... If you want Sora to say something then okay. And so yeah. xP)

Sora then got up and smiled. "Okay. I'll race you to the cave!" Sora said as he started running toward the secret cave they used to hang around when they were little. Sora was ahead of Riku but Riku still beat him."Come on Sora. I thought you were faster than that." Riku said. "Gi'me a break!" Sora barked. Sora then pouted.

Riku smirked knowingly at his friend. "Puppy dog faces don't work with me, Sora. I won fair and square. It's not my fault you're so slow. Maybe you should work out more." With a wink, Riku ducked inside of the cave. It reminded him of what he'd been thinking back on the shore. How things here were so beautiful, yet so familiar that they lost their ability to amaze him. Riku decided not to put a damper on his time with Sora, so instead of voicing these thoughts, he plopped down. Sora quickly followed suit, and for a few minutes, they sat in silence. "Hey, Sora," Riku felt a little intrusive asking, but he did so anyway. Sora was his friend, so he probably wouldn't be offended, right? "So, when Kairi...er, broke up with you, what did she say? Did she mention anyone or anything?"

Sora then put his finger on his chin and started to remember if Kairi did."Well she just said that she found someone else to be with and that he's very smart and not compared to me..." Sora said as he turned around with his back to Riku. "I just...Don't know why she would do that..." Sora said with a sigh. Sora then got up. "Let's go." Sora said as he held out his hand waiting for Riku to take it.

(Sorry that this is a yaoi story. I just like yaoi. xP)

[it's alright. Yaoi definitely wouldn't be my first choice, but I love RP'ing as Riku. xD]

"Oh," Riku was suddenly a bit embarrassed. "I meant I thought she might have mentioned someone else for you. Like, you know, suggested someone else for you to date--er, never mind, Sora. You probably don't want to talk about this, anyway. I'm sorry for bringing it up again." With a quiet sigh, Riku stood, careful not to take Sora's hand. Just because he secretly had a bit of a crush on his best friend didn't mean Sora felt the same way. He squinted, trying to think of something to do. Still a little disturbed by what he'd just been thinking of, he couldn't seem to focus himself. "Um--so, what do you want to do, Sora? We could do anything. Build another raft or go back to the beach or... yeah." Riku tried to keep himself from babbling.

  • Author

Sora then crossed his arms and started thinking. "I don't think we should build another raft..." Sora said. Sora then came up with an idea. "How about you come over to my house and you can sleep over!" Sora said with a smile. "Uh...Sure." Riku said. Sora knew Riku would say that. "Well then. Lets go!" Sora said as he ducked out of the cave. "Race ya to my boat!" Sora said as he started running as soon as Riku came out of the cave.

Riku easily accepted the challenge. He loved beating Sora, not just because he was spending time with his best friend, but because he was just egotistical that way. Riku smirked, lounging against the side of the boat as he waited for Sora to catch up. A few moments later, panting, Sora came up alongside him. "Well, that took a while, slowpoke." He rolled his eyes.

Once they'd reached Sora's house, it was already evening. Riku hadn't realized how long they'd been messing around. He considered informing his folks he was staying with Sora, but decided against it. He didn't feel like calling, and they knew he often preferred sleeping at his friends' houses anyway. "Hey, Sora, since I won, I think you should make me a sandwich."

  • Author

Sora then looked at Riku like immediately. "W-Why do I have to do that!?" Sora said. "Come on Sora. I won fair and square." Riku said. Sora then growled. "Fine..." Sora said in defeat. Sora and Riku finally reached Sora's house. "Come on." Sora said still kinda mad at the request that Riku made. Sora unlocked the door and they walked in.

"Hey, don't give me that face." Riku chuckled. "You're the one who couldn't run fast enough to win. That's not my fault. Try speeding up a bit next time, kiddo." Knowing that comment would really tick Sora off, Riku pushed past him into the house. He waved at Sora's parents. He was around here often enough they weren't bothered by his ever-present self. Riku let himself into Sora's room. It was practically his own--he left his things here all the time. Sitting on Sora's desk was his pajamas he'd left accidentally from yesterday, and beside them many more random items he'd abandoned. Riku plopped down on Sora's bed. "Get cooking with my dinner, Sora!"

Sora growled and walked out of his room and walked to the kitchen. "Sora-sweety! Me and you're father are going to go to work now!" Sora's mom said. "Okay mom!" Sora yelled. "Don't do anything bad while we're gone! Okay!" Sora's mom said. "Okay Mom!" Sora yelled. Sora was too busy making Riku's dinner to hear the door close. "(Urg. Why do I have to do everything for Riku?!)" Sora thought.

Riku lounged on Sora's bed boredly. "Hey, Sora, almost done with my dinner? I'm getting hungry!" He picked up one of Sora's books. It was about traveling to other worlds. Riku chuckled quietly to himself. "Still believe in fairytales, huh?" He flipped open the book, glancing through as it named impossible things it claimed were in other worlds. Other worlds? Sora was just kidding himself. Well, Sora had always been a bit of a daydreamer. Riku shook his head. "Silly kid thinks he knows what's out there." He closed the book and tossed it back onto the bed. He purposely made his steps loud as he made his way downstairs. "Sora! I'm serious! You better be done with that sandwich!"
  • Author

Sora was almost done making Riku's sandwich when Sora heard Riku stomping down the stairs. "(Urg!)" Sora thought as he hurried up and finally made Riku's sandwich which secretly had Paupo fruit in it. Sora always had a little crush on Riku. But it didn't mean Riku would like him back. Riku then walked into the kitchen. "Here you're majesty." Sora said with a grin as he handed Riku his sandwich.

Riku shrugged and picked up the sandwich. He lifted up one of the pieces of bread. "There isn't any spit in here, is there, Sora?" A few small yellow chunks were sitting just underneath the bread. "What's this stuff?" Riku demanded, lifting up and inspecting one of the chunks. It took him a moment to understand. "Sora, why are there Paupo fruit chunks in my sandwich?" Riku was furious when he started to feel his cheeks heat up? Was he blushing? He, Riku, of all people, blushed? It just fueled his fury for himself. Secretly, Riku felt a bit proud. Did Sora like him, too? Was it a mutual feeling? Or was Riku just flattering himself? Riku tried to give off a look of indifference, so if he was wrong, Sora wouldn't be creeped out. "So, kid, I'd answer if I were you."

Sora was actually kinda nervous...Intel he saw Riku's cheek's turn red. Wait. Was Riku BLUSHING?! "Uh... I-" Sora then stopped himself. There's no way his best friend would like him. Right? "I-I... Um..." Sora couldn't come up with any thing else to say. Should he tell Riku that he like's him? Sora then looked down and blushed a little. "I..." Sora then started to blush more. Sora then forced him self to tell Riku his true feelings."R-Riku. I really like you. And I don't know why. But I do." Sora said. Sora didn't want to look up at Riku cause he would know what Riku would say.

(Actually, in that instance it's 'until' and not 'intel'. I am a spelling freak.)

Riku laughed. "Oh, I get it! I'm dreaming! I guess I must have gotten to your house and fallen asleep. But you can do anything in dreams," Riku's laugh turned a bit darker. "You really like me, huh, Sora? Well, bet your Mama's not happy about that one, is she? Got a crush on your second best friend after you break-up with the first?" Inside, though, Riku's heart was pumping faster than it ever had. Sora liked him? He felt giddy like a little girl. He really, truly, had feelings for Riku. Then another thought hit him. "Is this to get back at Kairi? I don't want to be part of some little love revenge scam."

  • Author

Sora's mouth dropped when Riku said he thought it was a dream. "It's not a dream OR to get revenge on Kairi!" Sora yelled madly. That was actually the first time Sora got that mad and yelled at Riku. But Sora was litteraly on the verge of crying. "Riku. I do like you and it's not a dream!" Sora yelled again. Sora then growled and walked out of the kitchen into his living room. Sora then sat down on his couch. "Why...Why do I love him?" Sora asked himself quietly.

(Oh so NOW Sora says he loves Riku? Anyways thank you for telling me my mistype. xP)

(No problem. I'm just obsessive about that kind of thing. xD)

Riku watched carefully as Sora walked away dejectedly. He was about to follow, but hesitated momentarily. "Sora's really serious about this..." He murmured softly. He needed support, so he leaned against the table. Riku's head was spinning. Sora actually had feelings for him? Since when? He'd never acted like it. Riku swallowed, trying to keep his breathing steady. He could hear Sora faintly whispering to himself. He wobbled over the Sora, sitting on the sofa. Riku plopped down beside his friend. "Sora, I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I... well, I like you, too."

  • Author

Sora was actually surprized when Riku said he liked him. I mean. Riku never really looked like the type of person to LIKE someone."You...Do?" Sora asked. Riku then looked at Sora and nodded. Sora then smiled but then started to think about Kairi. "Riku. What abo-" Sora was then cut of because Riku kissed him on the lips.
