So yeah I just wanna start by saying I have no idea where to put this question anyway here's my problem. My connection was never great(usually maxed out at 40%) but now it's just terrible(hovers around 20%). So before people suggest moving the ps3 or router please understand that I can't move either too far. My Ps3 is in my room, which is two floors up from the router. The only other tvs are in my parents and siblings rooms, which wouldn't make much of a difference since they are on the same floor as mine. There is also the tv in the living room but it's older and whenever I've tried to play on it before with my ps3 there was always a very noticeable delay. Like I tried playing MLB with my cousin awhile back and there was about a second or so delay between me telling my guy to swing and him actually swinging...it's ridiculous. Also the router can't move from the basement because that's where my dad works so his computer needs the best internet connection. So are there any suggestions? Like a way I can strengthen the ps3 connection strength? Or increase the signal from my router?

Heres an idea.

Switch the living room tv with the one from your room and bring the ps3 to the living room

Is it wireless? If so, switch to an Ethernet cable. They ALWAYS give you better connection than wireless.
