September 7, 201114 yr In the end it doesn't really matter. That's how the characters developed. I'd rather the characters be good then Square try to force a character to be somebody they are not.

September 21, 201114 yr It's simply because there are far less black/Latino people in Japan (where it was made) than here in America, England or Australia. Also in many animes that take place in Japan characters stated to be from America, England or France most of the time either have the same skin tone or are only slightly more tan than the Japanese characters.
