So, if the worlds in 3D are asleep, and when they are awakened and restored, I wonder if the characters that Sora and Riku meet in them will remember them or not? Your thoughts?

That's a good question... I'm really not sure. It would be really sad if Sora and Riku remembered but the people they met didn't.

Well, I'm not sure either. That seems like a very good question. But since they are made up by yen sid i''d say the y wouldn't know who Sora and riku are if the two meet them in the real world

The worlds are asleep but that doesn't necessarily mean that the characters are.

That's what I thought at first, however that new article that was translated today changes things. It states that "The “World Submerged in Sleep” is a complex story, but there were worlds other than those that Sora restored in KH1, some that were not submerged in darkness. Like the worlds of the princesses and Dumbo’s, etc. In the end of KH1 it was established that some of those worlds were restored, but not all of them. Those that were neither in light nor in darkness, but those that were submerged in sleep." It also states that "When a world is awoken from it’s sleep, it will be restored to it’s original form." So I wonder if perhaps they are made up, as you suggested, or if perhaps they are worlds outside of the Dark influence, because it also states that the Dream Eaters consume the dreams of the worlds entrapped within them, in the presence of no heartless. An interesting conundrum and something I hope that Tetsuya Nomura focuses a bit of the game on, as I would like to learn more

I would say the people will remember, since the worlds Sora and Riku visit in the "sleep" are also worlds that are asleep somehow, meaning, when everyone wakes up everyone will remember what happened.
