A new animated series starring Batman and a ninja? Yep, it's happening.
The World's Finest reports that Sam Register, Warner Bros. Animation's Executive Vice President for Creative Affairs, announced at a conference that the series, Beware The Batman, will air in 2013.
The CGI series, according to Register, "will spotlight a classic-looking Batman teaming up with a gun-toting Alfred Pennyworth and a female ninja sidekick."

Beware's storylines will explore Batman's more obscure villains, such as Professor Pyg (recently made popular in Grant Morrison's run on Batman and Robin.) The show will also feature some of Batman's more well-known rogues.
So who is this ninja sidekick? Her name is Katana, and Register was quick to point out that she "won't be a replacement for Robin."
Beware The Batman will air on Cartoon Network, as part of a new animation block called DC Nation. Register also announced that Aardman Animation (Wallace and Gromit) will create new claymation Batman shorts for DC Nation. A series of animated shorts called Super Best Friends Forever, featuring Wonder Girl, Batgirl and Supergirl, is also in the works.
So are we excited for this new take on Batman? That's your cue to drop some opinions in the Comments Section.
I hope it turns out to be half as good as B:tas but i can't really judge show yet.I love to see more recent stories from Grant Morrsion,Scott Snyder and other be turned into stories from the show.
