In a world just like our own, there are many magical creatures, both good and bad, and even demons. You can choose to be a witch, (both a guy and girl can be considered a witch) a demon, any magical creature you can think of, or a whitelighter or a dark lighter, both are like guardian angels, white lighters for good witches, dark lighters for evil witches. They can orb (aka teleport) around and heal their charges (people they protect) if you're still confused on anything, you can ask me or just watch the basics of Charmed on YouTube or read it on Wikipedia, cause this rp is basically the show Charmed, with me adding a little twist.

Rules: basic rp rules apply, since Possessing someone may be an essential factor of this kind of rp, just make sure u have their permission.

Application:

Name-

Age-

Family name-(you can be a part of someone's family with their permission and my approval of your application)

Species-(witch, demon, leprechaun etc.)

Powers-(depending on what you are try to stick with one power. Demons usually have fir and energy balls and can teleport, although if your a high level demon, you get to have a special power as well. No invincibility and stuff)

Alignment-

Bio-

Personality-

Optional: Description of your book of shadows, a sort of encyclopedia for magic that has spells, ingredients for potions, how to kill certain demons, etc

(I was kinda hoping to have two siblings to my family, me being the youngest. Or you could be the grandma too. You can start out either knowing about magic, or you could not know about magic. Just throwing that out there in case you need help giving your character a bio) here's mine.

Name-Sean

Age-14

Family name- King

Species-Witch

Powers- along with the usual abilities of a witch to cast spells, he has the ability to freeze time around him for a certain amount of time, and can blow things up, by freezing atoms to freeze things, and accelerating atoms to cause an explosion. The freezing part of his powers doesn't effect good witches.)

Alignment-good

Bio-Sean is part of a family that has had the most powerful witches alive, although it is unknown if he or his siblings will live up to that. His dad was murdered by a demon, and his mom misteriously disappeared. He's living with his grandma, also a witch. He does not yet know he's a witch (but if you want to be one of my siblings, at least one of you has to know about magic. Most likely the eldest, but the middle sibling can choose to know about it or not.) due to the fact that his powers haven't started yet, and the family is hiding magic from him until his powers develop.

Personality-Sean is a very friendly and trusting person who doesn't like to take things seriously. He hates his dad, who died when he was 5, which affects his realtionship with his oldest sibling, since his oldest sibling loved his dad.

(Yeah, no problem. It'll take a minute for me to work up the older sisters states and stuff.) Verge nodded. "Always good to use the classics." he agreed. "Maybe subconsciously used it, an didn't

(ok that's cool go)

Once Leon got home, he went straight to bed. He was tried out from the last few days, and he really needed a good rest in his own bed. Unfortuantly, the same dream that plagued him so many times came back. A dream, about Leon's father.

The dream started the same way, Leon would appear in a blank field, surronded by a thick fog. The only thing in the field was a small gravestone. Next to it, was a pole shoved into the ground, and a tattered Orginzation XIII cloak flapping in the wind on top of it. The gravestone read: Here lies, Silver Kuroi. Org. XIII s #15. Died fighting the One-Winged Angel.

(Read for next day when y'all are.)

The next day, Sean came down, where a funeral was about to happen. He had told Susan and Verge that there shouldn't be any magic done to her or her funeral, as that would just be lazy and would show how little we care. He sat next to his sister and brother and said not a word.

Susan remained quiet and still next to her brothers. Her eyes were red, but she had gotten her crying under control.

Verge was only partly there. His mind was wrapped around several things at once. At the fore front of his mind was what Grace had said to him. Susan, Sean and himself were destined for something. But what?

What ever it was, he hoped it was worth Grandma's life. Another thing troubling him was that normal grown ups were going to want to take care of them. That wasn't going to work. Not with three witches. Perhaps the Queen could be of help.

After the funeral a social worker approached Susan. "Since you are of legal age, you have the option to take custody of your two brothers. Otherwise I can place them in a foster home if your not willing."

Susan looked over at her two brothers. She had so much planned. Go to college, get a degree. Become a powerful Witch. Taking care of her brothers would seriously mess that up. But then, so had Grandma's death.

"I'll take care of them." She said firmly. "That's what Grandma would have wanted."

Verge smiled sadly as he heard this. The sadness was for Grandma. The smile was for Susan. She was sacrificing quite a few of her plans to do this. He'd make it up to her. He would get her help. Without saying a word, Verge left to go find the Book of Shadows.

"Ok," the social worker smiled. "I'll come by tommorow to bring some papers for you to fill out, and that should be it." the social worker turned and left. Then a detective approached Susan. "I'm very sorry for your loss. But your grandma died in a very strange way, the people who examined her back at the station said there wasn't a scratch on her. Except of course her white hair. That's strange don't you think?" he said examining her facial expressions.

Sean had snuck off to the room with the book of shadows and was looking for ways to bring his grandma back. He tried every spell that he thought would help, none of them doing anything

"powers of the witches rise,

Course unseen across the skies

Come to me I call you near,

Come to me and settle here." still saying the spell he cut his hand and put blood in a pot, as the spell directed.

"blood to blood I summon thee,

Blood to blood return to me."

Nothing happened, as all the spells did. He began to cry again. "What the hell is magic worth if you can't do what you want the most!" he tossed the pot aside. He turned the pages of the book again more aggressively, and came across a spell he hadn't seen yet. It was titled spell to summon the dead. He got 9 candles and placed them in a large circle and lit them, and began to say the spell.

"Hear these words, hear my cry,

Spirit from the other side

Come to me, I summon Thee,

Cross now the Great Divide"

there were orbs of white light, and Reneé appeared, wearing the same dress she was. Wearing before she died. "Hello honey." she said

Susan's voice and face remained neutral.

"I have no idea why my grandmother is dead, officer." She answered.

She arched an eyebrow.

"Isn't your job to find out, sir?"

Verge went up the stares in their house slowly, trying to fit the last pieces of his plan together. He would need Sean's help and Leon could be a help. He froze when he felt magic stirring in the house. A spell was being enacted. This one Verge knew. He ran up stairs.

The detective looked up when he heard the bang from the pot hitting the floor upstairs. "Oh quite the commotion, isn't it?"

Reneé stood out of the circle, turning solid when she stepped out, and Sean ran to hug her. "It worked!" he said in delight "Now you can come back!"

To that statement, Reneé began to look away. "Honey, I... I can't stay, you know that right?"

Susan shook her head. She had felt magic going. Sean or Verge must have tried something.

"My little brother Sean is taking this hard." She commented, looking up as well. "I had best take a look. Is that all you need, officer?"

Verge burst through the door to see Sean and Renee. He knew about this spell. He had tried to contact his dad with it once. Some monster had disguised itself as his father and tried to trick him into helping it. If Grandma hadn't been there...

"Hi." He said, looking back and forth between Sean and Renee.

The detective frowned. "sure, I have work to do. I'll be in touch." and with that he left.

Reneé hugged Verge. "I'm sorry things turned out this way."

Sean irritatedly asked, "What do you mean you can't stay?"

Reneé turned to Sean. "There's many reasons I can't stay. For one, it isn't right for the dead to stay in the world of the living, it can mess with their heads, make them forget things, like the fact that they're dead in the first place and if they stay too long, and they will start to deteriorate eventually. Or they might turn into something darker. There's also more personal reasons. If I were to keep coming back here, you wouldn't be able to get over the fact that I'm gone, and that wouldn't be fair of me to do that to you guys." She turned towards the large window that overlooked the neighborhood. "Not to mention that everybody knows that I'm dead. What would they think if they saw me walking to the grocery store? It wouldn't be pretty." she turned back to Sean. "I'm sorry honey, that's just the way things are."

Leon woke up. The dream always scared him. He didn't even know what this 'Orgnization' was. He sighed, and got dressed. His mother, howerver, came into his room. "Today is Renee's funeral. Get ready." She whispered. Leon nodded, and turned to his closet.

He smiled

"Sad. So very, very sad. These poor kids, left alone with their magic. with their abilities. Alone to handle all of this, trying to make sense of it all." Loneliness is what he needed. Loneliness caused anguish, hate, hopelessness. But best of all;

Loneliness caused fear.

It wouldn't be long now.

Verge sniffed.

"I'm sorry I was able to do more for you, grandma." He said in a low tone. "But, I'm gonna help keep us safe."

A smile touched his lips.

"Susan's gonna keep an eye on us."

Susan sighed with relief at the police officer's leaving. She wasn't if she could have kept dodging him. Time to check on that thump. So many things had changed. One of them were her and Sean's relationship. No matter how he felt about their father, she had to help and take care of him, no matter what. She was not going to let Grandma in that. She walked up stairs.

Reneé smiled a sad smile. "I know you'll be ok. Your gonna do great things, all of you." she turned to Verge. "make sure he doesn't use his powers for personal gain again, I know your good at controlling that." he turned to Sean. "and make sure Verge doesn't blow himself up with his experiments, either."

Sean laughed a sad kind of laugh. "I will."

Verge smiled.

"Will do."

He transferred the smile to Sean.

"Sorry man, but you are going to have a hard time keeping up your end of things."

Susan made it to the door to the secret room and opened the door and opened it. She froze when she saw Renee. Fresh tears rolled down her checks.

"I'm going to miss you, Grandma." She said.

Reneé looked to Susan as she stepped back in the circle and started to fade into white light as she appeared. "I love you too Guys." and with that she was gone, the candles were blown out.

And everything was quiet

Susan walked over to the coach and sat down. She took several deep breaths.

"I'm sorry, Sean." She said, quietly. "I know what you were trying to do. I...I wish it could work the way you wanted it to, but magic can't always do everything we want."

She took several more deep breaths.

"I'm going to have to be in charge now. I...I now you and I haven't been the best of friends."

She bite her lip, willing herself to hold back tears.

"Not long ago, we agreed to a peace. That's not enough now. We are going to have to work together to get through this. You can hate me all you want once we are all grown, but now, we are a team."

She looked at Sean with pleading eyes.

"Can you help me?"

After all that happened, still holding a grudge would seem childish and selfish. "We're cool for now." he said, looking out the window Reneé had looked out before. (btw when we vanquish Xiev, there's going to be other demons/monsters that mds is going to be, as i previously agreed with him. Although idk if the other monsters are going to be on this rp or a sequel I make. Plus there's still the mother's whereabout mystery I wanna do too, but let's finish this scenario first)

"Thank you." Susan whispered.

Verge smiled a little. There was still some stuff to work out, but things were at least moving in the right direction. Time to continue on. Verge walked over to the Book of Shadows and began leafing through it.

"Well, then, could y'all give me a hand?" He asked. "We are going to need some help getting on our feet."

He stopped flipping pages at a portal spell.

"And I have some friends in mind." He said with a smile.

  • Author

"What do you need help with?" Sean asked curiously

"We need to open a portal to a pocket dimension in order to get some friends I made." Verge explained.

He snapped his fingers and William, Will and Willy popped up.

"You've met the boys." Verge said, waving an absent hand at the three brothers. "They are just three of many, many more. They are the...Sorry, not sure what you guys are."

William cleared his throat.

"We are the Maharon." He said.

Susan got up and walked closer to Verge and the three Maharons.

"I've never heard you that race before." She said.

"Naturally." William said. "We left this world before the humans spread too far."

  • Author

"hmmm good to know." Sean said as he looked through the book of shadows. "hey I wonder what the power of three is."

Susan walked over and looked at what Sean was talking about.

"No idea..." she said, studying the entry.

Verge paid no mind to the others as he bustled around to get the supplies he need to complete the portal spell.
