In a world just like our own, there are many magical creatures, both good and bad, and even demons. You can choose to be a witch, (both a guy and girl can be considered a witch) a demon, any magical creature you can think of, or a whitelighter or a dark lighter, both are like guardian angels, white lighters for good witches, dark lighters for evil witches. They can orb (aka teleport) around and heal their charges (people they protect) if you're still confused on anything, you can ask me or just watch the basics of Charmed on YouTube or read it on Wikipedia, cause this rp is basically the show Charmed, with me adding a little twist.

Rules: basic rp rules apply, since Possessing someone may be an essential factor of this kind of rp, just make sure u have their permission.

(I was kinda hoping to have two siblings to my family, me being the youngest. Or you could be the grandma too. You can start out either knowing about magic, or you could not know about magic. Just throwing that out there in case you need help giving your character a bio) here's mine.

Powers- along with the usual abilities of a witch to cast spells, he has the ability to freeze time around him for a certain amount of time, and can blow things up, by freezing atoms to freeze things, and accelerating atoms to cause an explosion. The freezing part of his powers doesn't effect good witches.)

Alignment-good

Bio-Sean is part of a family that has had the most powerful witches alive, although it is unknown if he or his siblings will live up to that. His dad was murdered by a demon, and his mom misteriously disappeared. He's living with his grandma, also a witch. He does not yet know he's a witch (but if you want to be one of my siblings, at least one of you has to know about magic. Most likely the eldest, but the middle sibling can choose to know about it or not.) due to the fact that his powers haven't started yet, and the family is hiding magic from him until his powers develop.

Personality-Sean is a very friendly and trusting person who doesn't like to take things seriously. He hates his dad, who died when he was 5, which affects his realtionship with his oldest sibling, since his oldest sibling loved his dad.

Sean got home, and through his backpack on the couch and ran upstairs. He went into his room and locked the door. "hmmm" he thought. Maybe he should try his powers again. He wondered how he did it the last time. Was it when he waved his arms? He grabbed a baseball, threw it up into the air and waves his hands. Nothing happened. It just fell to the ground. "hmm." he sighed and laid on his bed. Then he felt a lump. He got up and moved his blankets. It was the book of shadows. "how did...?" he wondered. Then he took the book sat down and put it in his lap. "I wonder if there's anything in here about my powers. He started flipping through pages. He then came across a family tree. "whoa" he said in amazement. It had at least 10 generations of kings written down in here, ending with Sean, verge, and his despicable sister Susan. "ugh" he grunted. Then he saw his mom and dad on the family tree. Right next to there names was some information about them including their powers. Rufus king, his father, had the power of projection, which it described as being able to manipulate reality. He didn't think much of it, as it was his dad. Who cares? Then he saw his mom. Elena King. Her powers, molecular immobilization, which was described as being able to slow molecules down to the point where they stop moving. "hey that sounds like what I did," Sean said. "maybe there's something else about my powers in here because of mom." immediately the book flipped to a page on the book titled Molecular immobilization. He had felt a presence when that happened. "Was that mom?" he thought to himself, and then began to read. (btw I'm going to advance my powers later in the rp, feel free to do so to, as long is its related to ur original powers)

Once the got home, Leon stopped Verge. "I think you and I know whats truly going on around here." Leon muttered. "Your brother has touched magic." Leon was worried. This meant soon Sean could see through the 'field' and see Leon for the Neko he was. But what if Sean freaked out?

From what he read about his powers, if he truly inherited his powers from his mom, he now knew what he could do, as well as his limitations. If he were to freeze a person they would only remember the point when they were frozen to the point when they were unfrozen, they wouldn't be conscious during it. He can freeze anything, as long as they're in his sight and within at least a reasonable range. If a person was very strong, they could fight his freezing and be able to move. His powers also cant freeze good witches. It went on to say that even though you start out with these limitations, it is possible to work around it if you get strong enough, and you're powers might even advance and get more powers related to you're original. "wow, this definately beats inheriting old china plates." Sean joked

Verge nodded grimly.

"Yes, he has." he said. "Whether he did so consciously or subconsciously is unknown. Or if he even realizes he did it, but I doubt that. I'm pretty sure he knows."

Verge ran his hands through his hair and let out a long breath.

"So, what now? Wait for him to say something, or us go tell him?"

 

Meanwhile:

Susan got off the bus and collected her bags.

"Home sweet home." she thinks sourly as she looked around at her home town. It was a bit of a hike to get to her grandmothers house from her, so she got started. Wasn't going to be pleasant.

Leon sighed, it was hard enough confessing to both Susan and Verge about Leon being a Neko. But now, hisbest friend? "Perhaps we should tell him, I have been waiting a while to show Sean this." Leon put out his palm, and space seemed to distort around it, until a soda popped out. "Never gets old." Leon mumbled, enjoying the drink he had made appear.

Verge raised his eyebrows.

"Wow, I didn't know you could do that." he said, staring at the can. "How you do that? Is it a simple illusion? Or maybe an advanced form prestidigitation? Or teleportation?"

Leon smiled. "Didn't I tell you? I have power over space itself. I can already teleport an object from oneplace to another, but i recently figured out how to bend space and create matter. To an extent, of course." Leon said, drinking the rest of his soda, throwing the empty can in a nearby trash can.

With an excited look on his face, Verge watched the can arch into the trash can.

"Sweet!" he said. "I can't believe I didn't know this. That most be really cool. I have to learn how to do that."

Verge froze a moment.

"Oh, yeah. We were talking about something else, weren't we? What was it?"

Verge tapped his temple with his index finger as he tried to remember.

Leon stared at Verge. "Um, we were talking about your brother...remember? God, even i don't this distracted that easily." Leon said, stretching his tail out.

"wow, this book is so cool! My family must've gotten around a lot, there's everything about everything." he smiled. He then reached the spell section of the book. It had all prewritten spells from previous Kings. "if I'm a witch, why can't I have fun with my magic?" he unfortuneately skipped over the part in the book that mentions the part about how good witches can't use their magic for personal gain, and that doing so can cause a spell to backfire. "ooh what's this?" he came acrosss a spell titled A spell to hear secret thoughts. "a mind reading spell? This could be fun!" he put a candle he found in his closet, on his desk, lit it and began to read:

"As plain light shadows

And truth ends fear,

Open locked thoughts

To my mind's willing ear,

May the smoke from this candle

Into everywhere creep,

Bring innermost voices

To my mind in speech"

A ringing sound could be heard in his head, and then it stopped. Did it work? How was he supposed to know? And then he remembered about his brother and friend just outside the house.

Verge snapped his fingers.

"That's it!" He said triumphantly.

His face fell.

"Oh yeah, we're gonna go talk to him."

He swallowed.

"Okay."

He took a deep breath.

"Let's do this."

He heads toward Sean's room.

Sean could hear them coming up the stairs, so he blew out the candle and hid the candle and the book under his bed before they came. (if for now you could write what your characters are thinking just until I reverse the spell)

Verge burst into Sean's room with out knocking. He began to pace back and forth in front of Sean.

"Okay, Sean, there is something you need to know." Verge said, a little fast.

He ran his hands through his hair.

"Our family can do special stuff. We've always been able to. Um."

He stopped and help his chin and mouth in his hand. Taking his hand away, he spoke.

"We're Witches!"

His hand returned to where it had been before as he waited for Sean's reaction.

"you're crazy!" he had to fake it in case his brother would get mad about him finding out, he also wanted to see if his mind reading spell worked

Leon followed. I don't believe Sean's act one bit. Leon sighed. "Your brothers right. You are descended from a family of 'witches'. As for me, I'm not exactly human either..." Here we go. "I'm a 'Neko'. A species of half-cat people, normally with cat ears and tail. You will eventually see this, heck, you might even see it right now."

ha guess im not so good an actor, sean thought. But then he did notice his friends cat ears and tail. "cool!" he said in delight. He even noticed his spell had worked.

"Alright, alright, alright." Verge said, waving his hands around. "It's this simple. We have magic and we..."

Verge stopped and cocked his head to one side.

"And you are using a spell right now!" he yelled, ecstatic.

He ran over and hugged his little brother.

Hmm, they were reconciling. This was somewhat unexpected but not too terrible. A young inexperienced kid using magic, now quite some fun could be had with that. Let the boy think he understands what he's doing, and then push something a bit tougher on him. Something to push him to make a mistake. Xiev would get what he wanted from the boy. Now he just had to decide how he would do it.

Susan stopped in front of her Grandmothers house. She was loathed to go in, but there was nothing else for in. She had endure her brothers for years. A few more months wouldn't matter that much. She sighed and walked up to the door. Time to go in. Opening the door, she stepped in.

"Hello?" She called into the house.

Although the people in the group couldnt hear Susan, Sean could hear her thoughts. "why is she here?" Sean said in a very irritated tone. And this is where the personal gain started to come in. With this many ppl in the same vicinity, Sean's head started to throb intensely with so many thoughts. He fell to the floor "owwwwww!!!!" he screamed in pain. "quick quick quick! I read in the book of shadows that saying a spell backwards reverses it. Please reverse it. PLEASE!"

Leon located the book and tossed it to Verge. "You're better at spells than I am!" Leon said, feeling worried for his friend. His body responded, his ears upright. Leon walked over to Sean. "You're gonna be alright." He said, "Verge will take care of the rest."

With out looking at the book, Verge said several spells backwards, the last of which was the right one. The spelled reversed and Sean felt relief. Verge tossed the book to Sean and Leon.

"I'll go hold her off till you're ready." Verge said, dashing out the door.

He ran down stairs and gave Susan a big smile.

"Hey, Sue!" He greeted. "What you doing back?"

Susan gave Verge an unamused glance.

"You know I hate my named shortened, Verge." She said. "And I'm back because the college closed for the term."

"why did it do that!" Sean wondered. "the spell was to read others minds, not explode mine." he accidentally dropped the book of shadows, and when it fell, it was on a page that mentioned personal gain. "oh," he said as he picked it up. "guess I shouldn't have skipped some of it huh?" he joked with Leon. Then he remembered something. He could hear his wretched sisters thoughts. What is she doing back here? He thought. He turned to Leon. "come on let's go." and ran out to the stairs

Leon sighed, and followed his friends. Susan is here? Perfect. Just what i needed. Leon thought, recalling his past 'experiences' with Sean's sister. These invovled her almost killing Leon because of what he was. Leon snapped his fingers, and space distorted, producing another soda. "You want one?" Leon asked Sean.

Sean frowned. "aww! How come you get to use your powers for (makes quotation marks with his hands in the air) personal gain?"
