In a world just like our own, there are many magical creatures, both good and bad, and even demons. You can choose to be a witch, (both a guy and girl can be considered a witch) a demon, any magical creature you can think of, or a whitelighter or a dark lighter, both are like guardian angels, white lighters for good witches, dark lighters for evil witches. They can orb (aka teleport) around and heal their charges (people they protect) if you're still confused on anything, you can ask me or just watch the basics of Charmed on YouTube or read it on Wikipedia, cause this rp is basically the show Charmed, with me adding a little twist.

Rules: basic rp rules apply, since Possessing someone may be an essential factor of this kind of rp, just make sure u have their permission.

Application:

Name-

Age-

Family name-(you can be a part of someone's family with their permission and my approval of your application)

Species-(witch, demon, leprechaun etc.)

Powers-(depending on what you are try to stick with one power. Demons usually have fir and energy balls and can teleport, although if your a high level demon, you get to have a special power as well. No invincibility and stuff)

Alignment-

Bio-

Personality-

Optional: Description of your book of shadows, a sort of encyclopedia for magic that has spells, ingredients for potions, how to kill certain demons, etc

(I was kinda hoping to have two siblings to my family, me being the youngest. Or you could be the grandma too. You can start out either knowing about magic, or you could not know about magic. Just throwing that out there in case you need help giving your character a bio) here's mine.

Name-Sean

Age-14

Family name- King

Species-Witch

Powers- along with the usual abilities of a witch to cast spells, he has the ability to freeze time around him for a certain amount of time, and can blow things up, by freezing atoms to freeze things, and accelerating atoms to cause an explosion. The freezing part of his powers doesn't effect good witches.)

Alignment-good

Bio-Sean is part of a family that has had the most powerful witches alive, although it is unknown if he or his siblings will live up to that. His dad was murdered by a demon, and his mom misteriously disappeared. He's living with his grandma, also a witch. He does not yet know he's a witch (but if you want to be one of my siblings, at least one of you has to know about magic. Most likely the eldest, but the middle sibling can choose to know about it or not.) due to the fact that his powers haven't started yet, and the family is hiding magic from him until his powers develop.

Personality-Sean is a very friendly and trusting person who doesn't like to take things seriously. He hates his dad, who died when he was 5, which affects his realtionship with his oldest sibling, since his oldest sibling loved his dad.

(Yeah, no problem. It'll take a minute for me to work up the older sisters states and stuff.) Verge nodded. "Always good to use the classics." he agreed. "Maybe subconsciously used it, an didn't

Leon laughed. "I dunno. I can distort space, and do simple elemental spells. You on the other hand, can read peoples minds, levitate, etc. Now drink the coke." Leon said, tossing Sean a can.

Sean sighed and drank the soda. He walked to the stairs where he could see his sister downstairs looking up At him.

Susan looked up at Sean then looked away.

"Any way, I should be around for a bit longer." She said, pushing past Verge and making for the stairs.

Going up the stairs, she also pushed past Sean. In the hall, she gave Leon a lingering glare and opened the door to her old room, slamming the door once she was in.

Verge looked up at Sean a little sheepishly.

"Well, at least she didn't try to hurt Leon again, huh?" he said.

Sean grunted. "whatever. The sooner she leaves, the better." he went downstairs and opened the door. "I'm going to the old arcade. Don't wait up" and slammed the door shut.

(btw since the grandma hasn't appeared in the story yet, should we change it to where she died? Or should I play her?)

Leon sighed with relief. The day was going far better than he originaly expected. All of his limbs were intact, and the zombie invasion hadn't happened, so all was well. "Might as well." Leon muttered, opening the door. "You coming?" Leon asked Verge.

Susan started to unpack her bags and put the stuff away. She heard the door slam. Probably Sean, she deduced. That was fine by her. The least amount of time they both spent under the same roof was better for everyone, all around.

Verge winced when Sean slammed the door. He had really, really hoped that with Susan at college, she and Sean could have cooled off and worked through their problem, but that wasn't happening soon. Verge's main concern was Sean right now. He had just learned about magic. That could be dangerous.

Leon's words broke into Verge's thoughts.

"Yeah." He said. "Let's go."

He followed Leon out.

(here ill play the grandma)

Name: Reneé King

Age: 74

Species:witch

Powers: has premonitions of both the past and future, and can feel people's emotions, this can also help her to tell when someone's lying

Bio: the mother of Rufus King, she is a very resourceful witch, being very talented at making potions and had a knack for vanquishing demons with her powerful potions and spells, although has basically retired in order to care for her grandchildren. She is also very skilled at being a mom, as she used her powers to tell if her son, as well as grandchildren were lying or not, which helped her to raise them, and even used some of her potions to help them when they were sick.

Personality:very motherly and kind to people, not so much with demons. Don't let her age fool you. She can still kick butt better than most men, even at her ripe age.

(ok haha finally here's her first appearance) Reneé had come out of the kitchen when verge and Leon left. "what did I tell you about slamming the door!" she yelled in her soothing yet naggy voice. Then her powers noticed a familiar presence. "no, it can't be," she wondered. She walked upstairs to the room where she felt a presence. She opened the door. "Susan!" she shouted.

Susan managed a smile.

"Hi, Grandma." She said.

She walked over and gave Renee a hug.

"Sorry, but the college I was going to closed down for the term. How are you doing?"

  • Author

Reneé sighed. "oh I'm fine. Just having to raise those kids on my own can be a pain in the neck sometimes." she laughed. "you know how kids are. So do you know why they closed?"

Sean finally got to the arcade. "I just need to relax. Calm down and play some games." he said to himself. I'm not gonna let anything ruin my weekend, especially Susan," as soon as he opened the door, his facial expression went from smile to look of horror at what he saw.

Wayne, with a bandage on his nose, and his gang were all sitting at a table next to the games, eating pizza.

And they all stared at Sean

Susan shrugged.

"There is a rumor about a Witch losing control and wracking the college, but nothing has been confirmed. They say it's for remodeling and to adjust their curriculum, but I doubt that."

Verge hurried after Sean. He had a bad feeling, and he didn't know why. He stopped and summoned his imps. They weren't actually Imps, he just called them that. The had skin color ranging from blue to a dark purple. They had fair hair, red being the most common. Verge usually only saw the three brothers, William, Will and Willy. Verge knew that they were fae, but he didn't know what type. He had search the book of shadows thoroughly, but found no mention of these fae. Verge resolved to come up with a new name for this species.

William tipped his cap to Verge.

"And what you be needin' now, sur?" the little what ever he was.

"Find my brother and keep an eye on him." Verge ordered.

William tipped his cap again and the three fae speed off at speeds a horse would find impossible. Verge wasn't worried that people would see them. They seemed to have a glamor similar to Leon's that keeps non-magical creatures or casters from seeing them. Verge restarted his trek to Sean.

leon looked at the imps, and shrugged. He continued on as well, slightly happy to relax and play games, but that wouldn't happen. He knew full well that something just didn't make sense, and something wierd was going to happen. Leon sighed, or of course, he could be overreacting to the day's events. Leon tried to relax, massaging his ears.

Reneé frowned. "do you think it was a demon?"

Sean started to back away, but by then it was too late. The gang grabbed him and pulled him to an alley nearby. Wayne smiled devilishly. "thought you could run away like that without getting your punishment huh?"

Sean laughed nervously. "if I recall, I broke your nose and you cried like a baby before I left, do I'm pretty sure I didn't run from the fight."

Wayne whined. "I wasn't crying! My eye just had something in... Oh shut up! It doesn't matter. You're gonna be dead anyways."

Sean tried to move his arms, but his gang was holding them back, so he was outta luck when it came to his powers. He felt defeated. At least his mom's power was used with her eyes, and he was limited to hand movements. And then he thought of something. Could he make up a spell of his own? He had to try, it was something. He began to awkwardly speak.

"with no intentions of personal gain...

Retain these jerks and keep them constrained?" he said unconfidently. Pipes from the walls of the alley started to move and attached to the bullies, and pulled them tithe wall where they stopped. "hey what'd you do, you freak!" Wayne shouted. "see ya!" Sean shouted and ran away.

Susan shrugged.

"I don't know." She answered. "I would think there would be a lot of people freaking out, but then again, I don't have any experience with demons."

Susan scoffed.

"One of the normal students bought the story. It was really sad."

William, Will and Willy stopped their run after Sean to admire the bullies he had tied to the wall.

"The youngen' is a strong one, no doubt." Willy said with a whistle.

"Aye." William agreed.

Will pointed at Wayne and laughed.

"I think the big one's blubbing." He said.

William, tired of these interruptions, picked up a stone and threw it at Wayne. The stone hit Wayne with enough force to knock him out.

"See?" William said. "He's stopped blubbing. Let's go. we've got a Witch to find."

The three fae brothers ran on.

"hmm..." she thought for a moment. "well it doesn't matter. You're safe here. You know this is sacred ground? All the way back to the first King, who put a charm around this house protecting it from evil beings. Back then our family name was known as Halliwell. That's why some of the spells in the book of shadows refer to us being called Halliwells, so don't worry If spells in the book has Halliwell in it, it'll still work." she laughed. "I'm sorry, I went off topic didn't I? I'll leave you to unpack. When your done, I made some cookies if you wan some." she went to leave, and when she closed the door, she had a vision... When it was over, she opened her eyes. "should I... No, I mustn't muddle with destiny, they'll do fine." and went downstairs

Sean after running for about a mile, slowed down to catch his breath. "that was a close one," he panted. And then he saw three figures approaching him.

(sorry I mentioned the thing about Halliwells because there might be some spells I use in this rp from the show, but some of them have Halliwell in it, so I thought of this as a good way to explain it)

Susan smiled. There were good things about coming back here, Grandma's cookies being on of them. She hadn't know about the sacred ground bit. That was interesting information to have. She would have to experiment with that later. Thinking on that, she returned to unpacking.

William, Will and Willy stopped short of Sean and stood absolutely still, staring at Sean.

"Think he sees us?" Willy whispered out the of is mouth.

Will turned and glared at his brother.

"Course he can, ya daft idiot!" Will said to Willy, walking over that giving him a smack upside the head.

William took of his cap and nodded respectfully to Sean.

"Hellu." He said. "I'm William, and these are my brothers, Will and Willy."

Will and Willy stopped a wrestling match that had started to nod toward Sean, then the resumed. William cleared his throat.

"Your brother Verge sent us to see how yous was doin'."

"oh I'm fine now." he said. "is this verge's power? Using you guys?"

"Well, yes and no, not really." William said.

Will and Willy disentangled themselves for each other and dusted themselves off.

"Ya see, the Queen choice him to be our Human lord." Willy said.

William and Will gave Willy a glare.

"You're not 'pose ta talk 'bout the Queen to others, idjet." Will chided his brother, and went over to smack, thus sparking off another wrestling match.

"Um..." William said, scratching his nose. "Could you just forget about that, Sean?"

Sean, confused for a moment, decided not to think about it too much. He smiled, "forget about what?"

Waiting.

The imps had be out of this situation and Xiev could continue with him plan. They certainly did talk, but Xiev could wait. Sean was discovering magic, he was beginning to understand it in bits and pieces. Xiev couldn't let him learn much more until he made his move. So he sat there, his appearance distorting until the black coat had formed around him again. His favorite appearance would do for this next part of the plan. And he watched, and smiled.

Waiting.

William smiled and gave Sean a thumbs up.

"That's it, lad!" he said in a happy tone. "That's the spirit."

William turned and whistled. Will and Willy stopped fighting and looked at William. The William jerked his thumb up and both younger brothers jumped up. William turned back to Sean with a smile.

"So, want to be getting on back ta you're brother?"

Leon sighed and sat down. He hated waiting, and his ears flopped down to show his boredom. "When are your imps gonna get back?" He asked, then he perked up. He could feel the same presence from before, but a bit farther away. Leon used his senses, and located the presence. It was near Sean. "Aw crap." Leon muttered.

His smile faded "well I kinda left those guys unattended. And they might be there all day. Maybe I should freeze them, let then out of those pipes, leave and unfreeze them before I go. I gotta lractice my powers right? And it would be wrong of me to just leave them. You guys head back with Verge. Tell him I'll meet him at the house.

"Don't worry about the Boys." Verge said to Leon, then frowned. "No, that name doesn't work either."

He waved a hand, dismissing the idea from his mind.

"Anyway, they aren't imps. I'm not sure why I started calling them that."

William opened his mouth to argue, but snapped it shut. He merely nodded and grabbed his two brothers. The ran off toward Verge.

He was alone again, and headed back to the scene he had caused.

When he arrived on the scene, he saw them squirming. And Wayne was sleeping. "huh wonder what happened to him." he whispered. Luckily they hadn't seen him. So he picked a rock up and threw it in the alley way. "Let's hope I can control my powers." he had found that a witches powers were tied to their emotions, (fear for Sean) and if he could control that, soon he wouldn't need to use his emotions to use his powers. Until then however, he would just have to scare himself. While the gang had been distracted by the rock, Sean came from around the corner and quickly did his hand movement he did with his hands the last time, just flicking his hands toward the objects he was freezing. To help him, he thought of Wayne's scary glare. That was enough to jolt his powers. They stopped moving. A rat in the middle of the alleyway stopped moving as well, but he could hear people walking by still, luckily not looking down the alleyway.

"ok let's see. Hmmm..." he didn't remember the spell he used, as it all happened so fast. So he tried something else.

"Reverse the spell,

From which they fell."

The poles that had tied them down released them and went back to their original spots. They were still attached to the wall because they were frozen, so Sean went around the corner of the alley, and before he left, flicked his hands at them. They fell to a thud. Sean quickly ran back towards the house.

Xiev stepped in from of the boy, clapping. "Very good, very good; why Sean, you're a natural King, now aren't ya?" Xiev's coat blew with a breeze that wasn't there. His gloved hands continued their automated applause. He smiled. "Looks like they won't be bothering you anytime soon eh?" He said with a chuckle. He stepped close to Sean. 'So this is the boy, his confusion is so much more evident up close. He understands so little. Perfect.' He thought to himself and he stepped even closer. "You've got talent, Sean; brilliant talent, nobody I know has ever become so experienced so fast." Now is what his whole plan rested on. He took one more step, and stood under a meter from Sean now. He hid himself so well, his motives, his plans, even his face. But though it didn't matter, there was one thing Xiev couldn't hide now that he was so close to the boy on which everything hinged.

And that was his smile.
