In a world just like our own, there are many magical creatures, both good and bad, and even demons. You can choose to be a witch, (both a guy and girl can be considered a witch) a demon, any magical creature you can think of, or a whitelighter or a dark lighter, both are like guardian angels, white lighters for good witches, dark lighters for evil witches. They can orb (aka teleport) around and heal their charges (people they protect) if you're still confused on anything, you can ask me or just watch the basics of Charmed on YouTube or read it on Wikipedia, cause this rp is basically the show Charmed, with me adding a little twist.

Rules: basic rp rules apply, since Possessing someone may be an essential factor of this kind of rp, just make sure u have their permission.

Application:

Name-

Age-

Family name-(you can be a part of someone's family with their permission and my approval of your application)

Species-(witch, demon, leprechaun etc.)

Powers-(depending on what you are try to stick with one power. Demons usually have fir and energy balls and can teleport, although if your a high level demon, you get to have a special power as well. No invincibility and stuff)

Alignment-

Bio-

Personality-

Optional: Description of your book of shadows, a sort of encyclopedia for magic that has spells, ingredients for potions, how to kill certain demons, etc

(I was kinda hoping to have two siblings to my family, me being the youngest. Or you could be the grandma too. You can start out either knowing about magic, or you could not know about magic. Just throwing that out there in case you need help giving your character a bio) here's mine.

Name-Sean

Age-14

Family name- King

Species-Witch

Powers- along with the usual abilities of a witch to cast spells, he has the ability to freeze time around him for a certain amount of time, and can blow things up, by freezing atoms to freeze things, and accelerating atoms to cause an explosion. The freezing part of his powers doesn't effect good witches.)

Alignment-good

Bio-Sean is part of a family that has had the most powerful witches alive, although it is unknown if he or his siblings will live up to that. His dad was murdered by a demon, and his mom misteriously disappeared. He's living with his grandma, also a witch. He does not yet know he's a witch (but if you want to be one of my siblings, at least one of you has to know about magic. Most likely the eldest, but the middle sibling can choose to know about it or not.) due to the fact that his powers haven't started yet, and the family is hiding magic from him until his powers develop.

Personality-Sean is a very friendly and trusting person who doesn't like to take things seriously. He hates his dad, who died when he was 5, which affects his realtionship with his oldest sibling, since his oldest sibling loved his dad.

(Yeah, no problem. It'll take a minute for me to work up the older sisters states and stuff.) Verge nodded. "Always good to use the classics." he agreed. "Maybe subconsciously used it, an didn't

Sean looked at this strange man smiling at him. You'd think a smile would be welcoming, but Sean had never felt so much... Fear in his life. He was suprised he hadn't frozen the entire block.

"ummm, you obviously know about magic, are you a leprechaun or something?" he asked jokingly.

(if you end up talking about my family, don't forget to mention about the kings also being known as halliwells generations back)

The presence felt alot more closer now. Leon got up, and walked over to Verge. "That presence I felt before....It's back, and I can tell it's really close to Sean." Leon said, his blade appearing in his hands. Leon's tail was swooshing from side to side, and his ears were upright, displaying his emotions. "I suggest we figure out what this thing is, and why it's so close to Sean."

Verge nodded.

"Agreed." he said, let's find him.

Just then William, Will, and Willy ran up.

"We found him, sir!" William said, proudly.

Verge gave the little fae a questioning look and gestured out with his arms.

"So? Where is he?" He asked.

"He said he'd met ya at the house." William replied with a nod.

"When?" Verge pressed.

"A couple of minutes ago." William said, growing concerned with this line of questioning.

Will and Willy shifted uncomfortably

"Too long." Verge said firmly. "Let's go."

Verge and the three fae brothers set off to find Sean.

Meanwhile:

Susan finished putting things away with her telekinesis. She liked that ability. She remembered her father being able to do this. It was one of the few things she still had of his. She sighed, trying to push those memories away. She closed some drawers and went down stairs.

Leon felt as if too much time was being wasted. He put his hands together, and a portal ripped open, hopefully to Sean's location. "Get in." Leon said, "The portal should take us to Sean. But there is a chance of us teleporting near Canada." Leon ran to the portal, assuming Verge was following.

Verge's face lit up.

"Portals!" he said in a gleeful tone. "I love portals. Portals are cool!"

Verge started to follow Leon, then stopped. He turned around to face William, Will and Willy.

"Y'all run and find him. I'll go through here."

The three brothers nodded their understanding and sped off. With a smile, Verge followed Leon through the portal.

Somebody was trying to interrupt Xiev's plans. Cute. But Xiev wouldn't settle for having anything possibly disturb him now. He opened his hands and put them together, and in a moment he and Sean stood in a area of plain white. A simple protection spell, nobody could teleport here without great skill. Xiev turned toward Sean; "I'm no leprechaun Sean, I'm a... a witch. Your family; the Halliw- the Kings are a very powerful family of witches Though you've already been so clever as to find that out I'm sure. Let me introduce myself; I'm... Trysten; Trysten Xievcyte." Xiev bent over a bit to face down at Sean and extended his hand.

"How would you like to learn magic?"

(I think we could use more characters, so here we go)

Name: Grace Chamberlin

Age: 175 years old (appearance of 27)

Species: whitelighter

Appearance: strawberry red hair, hazel green eyes, fair skin, wears a black blouse.

Bio: during the civil war, Grace ran a medical facility for the red cross helping whoever she could, even the enemy side, because red cross was a neutral party, and both sides respected that. However, in 1863, a drunk soldier came in and tried to shoot people. Grace jumped in the way of another person before he could shoot them and shot her in the heart instead. When the elders (beings that keep the order of all good magical beings, the opposite of the source, which is like the king of the underworld) had seen what she had done, they thought she was a perfect canadate to be a guardian angel, so they made her into a whitelighter, where she helps her charges (people she was assigned to) like good witches, and future whitelighters stay on the right track.

Powers: orbing (teleporting by disintegrating into blue glowing orbs) herself and others by touch, and healing.

Minor powers: can understand any language of her charge, and can hear her charge when they call out their her name

Weaknesses: a dark lighters arrow, (cannot heal himself if shot by an arrow, can only be healed by another whitelighter)

Sean was a little scared it was just this strange character and him. He took one step back. "well if you've seen me do magic already, you know I'm learning on my own,"

Grace was being summoned by the elders, so she left her soon to be whitelighter charge in Tokyo, and orbed up to the elders palace.

"what is it you are requesting?" Grace said

"Are you aware that the Halliwell's recent generation has been rounded up into the same house again?" one of the elders asked.

"well I've heard rumors..."

An elder got up from his throne and walked to Grace, putting his hand on her shoulder. "you are one of our best whitelighters," he said. "and we've decided to assign the Halliwells to you."

"Do you really think I should?" she asked unconfidently

Another elder angrily said "you question the elders will?"

The elder that was near grace yelled "oh shut up old man! He is just shy." he looked to grace. "we trust you'll do great things. Now, go to their town, in San fransisco and watch over them closely"

"as you wish." she said, and orbed away

William, Will and Willy ran full tilt to were they had left Sean. Not seeing him immediately, they began to look around the area. William called off the search when Willy resorted to looking under leaves to find Sean.

"Okay, he said somethin' 'bout what he was gonna do." William said. "What was it?"

All three brothers scratched their heads.

"Oh" Exclaimed Will. "He's fixin' what he done to those lads in the alley."

Will chuckled.

"Remember the one that was blubbin'."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." William said impatiently. "We'll try there."

The three brothers ran toward the alley.

"Sean, Sean, Sean." Xiev repeated disapprovingly, "You should understand best; it's not safe to learn by yourself, look at what you did to those boys! What if one of them had been badly hurt. You can't control your magic, no witch with the amount of experience you have can. Perhaps you should know more about me." Xiev switched his tone to a softer, approachable calmness. "I teach magic, you see. I've even taught members of your family. I can't allow a witch to go around without proper training and use magic." Xiev crouched, and brought himself down to Sean's level. "Sean. you'll hurt yourself if you go on like this. You'll find some spell that will be too great for you, you'll make a mistake you can't take back. I'm here to stop that, I'm here to teach you how to use magic." Xiev re-extended his hand to Sean with a reassuring smile.

Grace orbed in from of Verge. "I know this looks wierd, but I need to know where your brother went!" she said hurriedly, sensing what was happening. "I can't explain much, but I'll tell you as much as I can. When a witch first comes into their powers, they are a neutral party, where they can be molded into good witches or evil witches. I believe a demon is persuading your brother to the evil side. I can't sense where he is, which means he's on another plane of existence. But if you can take me to where he last was, I might be able to orb through to the plane. But we have to hurry."

Sean thought about it. This guy seemed nice, but the only thing that was on his mind, why hadn't his brother talked about him? Well, it had only been a day since he'd started to use his powers, maybe he didnt have enough time to explain everything.

"I guess that might make sense." he said.

"Great!" Xiev said, with a reassuring smile that was almost genuine."I work for a group of witches that oversees the training of new witches. Sean, I'm very happy that you're willing to learn magic, so that you can be a great magic-wielder one day. Just like your brother and father and mother. " He decided to leave out Susan, as he sensed a bit of disdain for her on Sean's part.

Xiev turned. 'They've sent someone for the boy, eh? A bit of competition.' Xiev thought to himself, turning back to Sean. "There is one rule that you must follow while I teach you, though. You must not tell anybody you are under training. To be sure that you're learning correctly you can't get outside help on the lessons, that way I know you aren't cheating, and not telling anybody will assure that nobody is ever tempted to give you hints.Once you finish your training, you can tell, OK? But not while you learning from me, it's a dumb rule I know, but I have to make you follow it." Xiev was entertaining himself with how persuasive he was being right then.

The white disappeared to reveal the street they had both been standing on before. "I have to go now Sean, but very soon we'll begin your first lesson." With that Xiev turned and began to walk away. "Oh, one more thing!" Xiev exclaimed twisting back to face Sean.

"Watch out who you listen to, now that you have magic there may be those who want to use you to have access to it." And with that Xiev left Sean alone on the street.

Grace could begin to sense him. "I know where he is now!" she said as she orbed over to where Sean was.

"whoa!" Sean said in excitement as he saw the blue orbs quickly form into Grace. "how did you..."

"I'll explain later. Where we're you Sean?"

He had to come up with an excuse. "I was here, not that you should know that."

"actually, it's my job to know," she said, and then remembered she must explain it to him. "umm I'll explain later, here I'll take you to Verge. I was just with him." she held out her hand.

"I'm not going anywhere with-"

She got impatient and grabbed him and orbed. They then showed up to where Verge and Leon were. "-you. What the..." he felt very light headed.

She laughed. "that wasn't so hard was it?"

Verge just kind of stared at Grace.

"Um a, um." He managed. "Are you, um, what I think you are?"

"Oh yes, an explanation is due I believe." she began: "Yes, I'm a whitelighter, which is basically a guardian angel for good witches and soon to be whitelighters. I was assigned to you guys by the elders to watch over you guys."

Leon was confused. "Wait...what?" Was all Leon could manage. He wasn't a witch, after all. "Whats happening thats so important for a Whitelighter to appear?" Leon sniffed the air. Among the scents, he found something aroung Sean....something odd.

Grace continued: "well the elders try to give everyone a whitelighter, and all whitelighters have many many charges. But we only have so many whitelighters, so we have sort of a priority list. First is soon to be whitelighters, so we don't run short of whitelighters, then high level witches and if there's extra, we provide whitelighters to the not so powerful witches. Some witches don't even realize they're witches, which is a good thing I suppose. Ignorance is bliss. But the Halliwell family is an exception. This generation might be the most powerful witches on the planet, or just regular witches, it is unknown. They might be part of a prophecy long foretold. And when Sean gained his powers, now that all of them have their powers, it's drawn the attention of the elders. So I'm here to keep them on track."

Sean looked to Verge. "wait even Susan's a witch too? Why didn't anyone tell me?"

Verge grimaced.

"I didn't tell you before cause you didn't know about Witches." He explained. "And I didn't bring it after ward because it slipped my mind."

Verge fell into an uneasy silence.

"Grandma is one, too." He added.

To get attention off him, Verge looked over at Grace.

"So...why are you here, again?"

Behind a wall, William, Will and Willy watched the little gathering Verge was apart of. The ducked back.

"A Whitellighter." William breathed. "Why, by the yellow cloak, is one o' 'em here?"

"The Queen won't be too happy 'bout that, will she?" Asked Will.

William only shrugged. He didn't know.

Sean rolled his eyes. "can we talk about this some other time? I am going to go home, I've had a long day." it was starting to get dark.

Grace sighed. "well, I should be checking on my other charges, do you guys want me to orb you home?"

"I'm good, this orbing of yours makes me lightheaded."

Grace laughed. "you'll get used to it. If you guys ever need me, just call out my name. Litterally, out loud, and I'll be there ASAP. I'll check on you guys tommorow." and with that, she orbed away in blue glowing orbs

For once, Leon was quiet. After the Whitelighter left, he finally spoke. "My mum should be home by now. I'll go ahead and get going. See ya guys tomorrow." Leon opened his own portal, and stepped through.

Verge was still rather stunned. A Whitelighter was looking out for them. How could this be? Verge pushed this from his mind a focused on Sean.

"Listen." He said. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. About everything."

Sean looked away, like he usually does when he tries to avoid everything in his life. "Whatever, I don't care anymore. Let's just go." and started to head home

Reneé had pulled out a third batch of fudge. She was in a cooking mood, and decided to make lots and lots of things for their dinner. She made cookies, fudge, homemade mint icecream, and a very large pepperoni pizza for dinner and dessert. She was always very skilled at cooking and making potions, and she baked lots of things when she was excited, and who wouldn't be excited to have all their grand kids all under one roof?

"Susan, you better have brought your appetite home with you, cause I made lots of food"

Leon opened the door, and was greeted by his mother. Like Leon, Mrs. Kuroi was a Neko. "Hey mom." Leon said, glad to see her. "Hello honey. How has the past days been while i was gone?" "Well.....Sean finally learned abut his powers." Leon's mother perked up. "Oh really? How exciting! Oh, and Sean's grandmother invite us for dinner, something about Susan coming back. Is that fine with you?" Leon sighed, not interested in seeing Susan again. "Sure. Why not?"

Susan smiled.

"Oh, I did, Grandma." She said, walking into the kitchen. "I'll be happy to help depose of that."

Susan knew that Verge and Sean would home soon, but she was ready. Verge wasn't too bad, just a little spacey. Sean...was bearable. She could get through more time with him. She had done it before.

Meanwhile:

Verge understood what Sean was doing. Verge had done it plenty of times. He wished he had a good tactic to over come this, but he didn't. Sulking on this, he nearly jumped out of his skin when someone telepathically contacted him.

"Oh, it's you." he whispered. "What is it?"

He listened a moment.

"I've no idea why the Whitelighter is here. Maybe for Sean?"

He was silent again.

"Don't worry, Queen. Grace won't get in the way."

"ここでメアリーから抜け出す!" Grace said in Japanese, which meant "get out of here Mary!" her future whitelighter ran away and the dark lighter shot an arrow at Grace. Grace orbed and appeared again in the same spot but dodging the arrow. She grabbed an athame (pronounced athamay used for vanquishing magical beings, both good and evil although just wounds very powerful beings) from her black high heel boots and threw it at the dark lighter, the dark lighter bursting into flames and exploding. Grace orbed the knife back to her. "ugh, dark lighter blood." she said as she wiped the black blood off on a wall. Usually whitelighters are pacifists and don't fight, and follow a strict set of rules, Grace doing none of the above. But she wasn't about to tell the elders that. She didn't do this stupidly, she was actually smart about things. Which is what has kept her alive so far. She thought about her Halliwell charges in San fransisco. "I can't let them get hurt." she said to herself. "And I won't" and she orbed away (I kinda got grounded so this might be the last post I make for a while. But I don't think I'll be grounded for long, so I'll send you guys a message to let you know when I'm ungrounded. Please when I come back start posting again. I hope you don't drop this rp)
