This RP is based on the upcoming MMO The Old Republic. You don't have to be getting the game to join, but it would be nice if you were getting it, so we could play together and maybe join my guild.

Everyone will be on the side of the Republic and our enemies on the side of the Empire will be NPC's.

 

Rules-

- No killing other caracters at all, we're all on the same side here.

- No god modding or controlling other characters.

- Romance is allowed, but keep it PG.

- Jedi cannot use Dark Side powers, like Lightning.

- You cannot turn to the Dark Side or join the Empire.

- If you are getting the game, please create your character how you will in the game.

- If you choose to be a Jedi, you will start as an Initiate with a Vibroblade until you take the Initiate Trials, where you will recite the Jedi Code, build your own lightsaber, and perform a task given by a Master. If you succeed, you will be given the rank of Padawan be given a master to train under.

- Certain classes can only have certain races in them,. I will provide a list of that below.

Bowing to them before standing with a smile on her face. "Yes I am Master Oteg" Gazing around one last time before becoming straightener out and looking at Master Oteg with great pride. "I hope I do well........" She thought as she waited to start.

"Your first trial is to prove you understand the Jedi Code." he said. "I will recite part of the code, and you will finish that part. First, Rixku. There is no emotion, there is what?"

Cornelius smiled as he watched the patrons of a canteen on Ord Mantell. There was a bunch of peace demonstrators here as well as a small contingent of Republic troopers. With two such groups together in one place, something was going to happen. If things began to heat up, Cornelius knew that the demonstrators would be sorely out matched. A fact added to by Cornelius's own predisposition to help the troopers.

Cornelius had long ago decided to help the Republic, since at least under them, he could still go and do most of what he pleased. Plus, one of the troopers was a beautiful human female named Liona. Getting her favorable attention might be worth beating up some hippies.

Cornelius started to relax when the sixth he had developed on the street kicked in. Something else was at play here.

"There is peace." Smiling a bit before going back to a dull face. "One part down a few more to go........." Rixku thought half heartily but unnoticed by anyone but herself.

Cornelius leaned forward, taking new interest in the the quieter canteen patrons around. When something set off his sixth sense, it was always worth taking a look at the people in the shadows. Most of them looked shady, but that was normal. Cornelius was sure he looked shady to some people there. The only one that stood out was a little Rodian who fidgeted a lot. Cornelius took one last sip of his drink before getting up and wandering over to the Rodian.

"Good. Jules, There is no ignorance, there is?" Master Oteg asked him. "There is knowledge, Master Oteg." Jules said. "Very good. Rixku, There is no passion, there is?"

"There is serenity." Keeping her face straight as she thought. "Easy part I hope something challenging happens soon." Mentally sighing as that would take a while.

"Jules, There is no chaos, there is?" Oteg asked. "There is harmony master." Jules replied. "Very good. And the last goes to you Rixku, There is no death, there is?"

"There is the Force." Smiling as she stood there. "Now what's next maybe something a bit more I don't know moving by any chance?" Rixku thought quietly as she hoped for it to be true.

"Good. You both have passed the first trial." Oteg said. "Thank you master." Jules said, bowing. "You second trial it very important, constructing a lightsaber. The lightsaber is more than just a weapon, it is the sybol of the Jedi. I will provide you with the crystals and you shall go out and create your lightsaber with the Force." With that, he removed a cloth on a small table, revealing several different colored crystals. After removing another cloth, he revealed a pile of lightsaber parts.

 

"Thank you Master Oteg." Jules said, walking up and taking a green crystal and some lightsaber parts.

"May I ask something? Could I make two if I wished?" Rixku asked as she eyed parts before deciding what she needed. Grabbing some rather thin parts and a light blue crystal as she held it up seeing if would do before looking for a few more parts.

Cornelius gave the twitching Rodian a genuine smile.

"Hi there." Cornelius greeted in Huttese. "I trust life has been good to you?"

The Rodian stared up at Cornelius for a moment the jerked his head to the side.

"Sit." the shifty alien ordered.

Cornelius shrugged and sat down where he was ordered.

"What brings you here, friend?" he asked his new "friend."

"I'm not your friend!" the Rodian snapped. "I'm Tolgoo!"

Cornelius nodded is understanding.

"Alright, Tolgoo, what brings you here?"

Tolgoo's lips twitched into the Rodian version of a smile.

"Was paid to sit here and drink." He said in a low, excited tone. "And when fight start, to blast. Want to join?"

Cornelius kept his coll and even smiled.

"Oh, yeah." he said with conviction. "I'm always down for a good fight. Who's paying?"

"Don't know." Tolgoo answered. "Don't care."

Cornelius nodded and looked around the room again. Tolgoo was a pawn, not a mastermind. Who ever was setting this up and off was someone else. As he casually looked around, he noticed one of the peace demonstrators give him more than a casual look back.

"Bingo." Cornelius thought.

"You must first make and train in the use of one saber. It is true that you have mastered fighting with two vibroblades, but a lightsaber is different. After you have mastered fighting with a single saber, you can then choose to make a second saber, or a staff if you choose." Oteg said.

Cornelius watched the peace activists with renewed interest. As he watched them, he noticed new things he had missed before. While the joked and talked with each other, Cornelius could tell this was an act as they waited. But for what?

Cornelius gave Tolgoo a wave as he left the table and moseyed over to the bar, taking a position between the troopers and the "activists." Ordering a new drink, he used one of his head tails to tap the should of Liona. She gave him a glare but stopped when he gave her a quick cut off gesture with his head tail. Aiming his face away from the fake activists, he mouthed the words "Set Up." Liona's eyes widened, but said nothing. She glanced to the activists, then back to Cornelius with a question. He nodded and took his new drink.

He turned around as if to leave then "accidentally" tripped, running into one of the activists and spilling his drink down the mans pants.

"Oh, sorry." He slurred, faking drunk flawlessly. "Must a stepped on somefing."

The activist glared at Cornelius and cleaned off his pants, showing Cornelius the butt of a holdout blaster. The make and model of which were favored by undercover Imperial Agents.

"Ah," he said aloud. "That makes sense."

"What does?" asked the man Cornelius had spilled a drink on.

"Why you are here, Imp." Conrelius said with a devilish grin.

With that, he stepped back and let the trooper on his other side do the rest of the talking with their already drawn blasters.

Mask then appeared from out of nowhere behind Cornelius and had said "Hello...Master." as he seemed to reconize Cornelius as his master for some apprant reason even if Cornelius himself did not know.

(You start on Tython with the rest of the Jedi. We're in the middle of the Initiate Trials, building our lightsabers.)

(Okay sorry i was sort of confused by all the previous posts before i didn't know where to jump in.)

Cornelius leaned back as he sipped on a jawa juice. The fight was over and clean up was in progress. Exposed before they were ready, the Imperial agents had been well and truly owned by the Republic troopers. Cornelius had taken little direct action during the fight, but he had made sure to remove Tolgoo from the fight. Cornelius had used stun since it was bad form to kill someone you had just drank with and who had offered you a job. Plus, extra witnesses would be nice.

After the fight, most of the Imp agents were dead and two were injured. The troopers had some injuries, but no fatalities. They had all given Cornelius their thanks and a slap on the back. Liona had even smiled at him. He could get use to this hero business.

He took another sip as several officers walked in and conversed with the ranking troopers. Cornelius could see he had pointed out. An middle aged Zabrak with the insignia of Major walked toward him.
