I like the original megaman but...

 

X,ZERO AND AXL ALL THE WAY!!!

MegaMan Classic = Awesome... MegaMan X = Awesome x2... The rest is history... The games that follow the original plot line of MegaMan are cool. Though I also like the Battle Network branch story, StarForce series still being my favorite MM game.

    Megaman X is firetrucking awesome. They have interesting characters, firetrucking awesome controlls, and BOOMER KUWANGER. Not to mention some of the godliest SNES music. Sure, some games are bad (X7) and then some voice acting issues in the earlier games, but otherwise, SHITS AWESOME.

     

    Protoman will always have a spot in my heart though.
