Ooooh, I'm so excited for this! The trailer is amazing :D

I really hope they don't ruin the book though... so far it looks like they have done a good job.

"The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire" are two of my favorite novels (though I didn't like what she did with book 3 at all) but I'll admit that I'm really worried about this movie. It wouldn't take much for this to alienate a huge number of otherwise loyal Hunger Games fans. With a series like this I'm not sure it's possible to handle the movie gently enough to avoid making any drastic mistakes, and any one of those possible mistakes could make a fan resentful toward the series, especially considering the new fans who will be brought in by the movie.

I also dread this will be turned into the next Twilight...

But that's just my opinion. If you're excited for it then I hope it lives up to your expectations.

I thought about making a topic for this, but I'm lazy so I put it in a status update instead :D

I'm very excited for this movie. At first I didn't like the cast they selected. After watching this I've changed my mind. They are all great. And Rue is so cute. I'm going to bawl, and I never cry watching movies. Rue's song is pretty too. I'm looking forward to hearing what that song Katniss sang sounds like. One limitation of books: you can't hear a song while reading the lyrics.

But how are they going to make this PG-13? I would rather it be rated R so then they are realistic to the details in the book, but I know that would cut out a large audience that reads these.

Eh, it probably wouldn't be too hard. Just don't show as much gore and slightly alter the parts with nudity. I could definitely see it really pushing the PG-13 rating, though.

Anyway, I loved the first two books, had some problems with the third, but it wasn't bad. I hope the movie turns out good, but will have to wait and see whether it is the next Harry Potter, or ends up like the Percy Jackson movie.... or Twilight *shudders*.

Wow. This movie looks great! The books (except the third) are reallt good and the movie looks like it will do it justice.

CHILLS~~~~~~~

Ah, I saw this the other day and had a fangasm...I actually haven't had read the last one yet, but I can't wait to see this movie!

Now they need to get going with "City of Bones"...

Although I have a horrible feeling that they'd mess that up. I was scared about Hunger Games, but it looks pretty good.
