-Prologue-
The year is 2020. Domino City has envoled into a beatuiful city. Only one thing has made it a bad place to live in, Dueling has been banned. The mayor has banned it and whoever is caught playing it is to be thrown in prison. A boy, who lives in the poor part of the city, dislikes this law by all means. He has build a deck from cards he had found in the trash or streets. He is 18. The boy's name is Youki. He has short black hair, blue eyes, about 5.9 inches tall, and he has a scar that starts at the bottom of his right eye that goes down to his jaw line. This is his tale.
Chapter 1
Voom. A Duel Runner is being rode though the poor parts of the city. It's shape of a dragon, just without the wings and tail. Youki has built it. He worn a standard helmet for a bike. He turned left and headed towards the gates that lead to the rich part of the city. Youki removed his helmet and stared into the sky. He saw the sun was setting.
'' It's getting dark. Soon the Shadow Riders will appear.''said Youki as he put his helmet back on and started riding back to his home. He saw that the sun has setted. He heard some noise. He heard another duel runner. He then saw a man with long blonde hair, red jacket, black shirt, silver pants, and a his face was hidden due to his hood.'' Who are you?''asked Youki.
'' It's been a long time, yet you don't rememeber my face?''asked the man as he removed his hood. The man had dark brown eyes, scar on his cheek, and part of his hair covering his left eye.'' Blaze?!''asked Youki.'' That's right. It's me. Now,''said Blaze as he then type in a code. Youki looked at his screen as he was forced into a turbo duel.'' Why?'' he asked.'' Revenge.'' Blaze reply as they dove further into the ally.'' Spell world 2 field on. No spell execpt Speed spells can be used.''the Runners said.'' Duel!''yelled the two as they drove.
'' I'll take the first move.''said Blaze. Each had gain one speed counter.'' I first summon Insect Knight which has 1900 attack and 500 defense.'' Blaze said.'' I then set two cards. I end my turn.''he said.
Youki then drew a card.'' My turn.'' they each gained another speed counter.'' I use the speed spell Monster Boost. By removeing two speed counters, I'm allowed to summon twice this turn.''Youki said as they turned a conor.'' I now summon the monster. Star Lion in Defense mode which has 2000 Defense and 100 attack.''said Youki. Blaze smiled.'' I use my trap Defense trap. When a monster is summoned in Defense mood, I choose a monster on my field to gain it's defense as attack until the end of my next turn.''said Blaze as Insect Knight had gained 2000 attack.' Damn it. If I don't do something now, I'm done for.' thought Youki as he ended his turn.
