In BD-A New Beginning does the story take place in a parrallel universe, on a parrallel world where over 1000 years have passed since the original games back where their stories took place, In the universes, On their worlds and now does the story take place in a universe called "Wodahs.", On a world called "Slamina." that has the same basic principals that Shu, The original main primary protagonist of the original Blue Dragon games and his friends as well as everyone else from their universe and world follow when commanding a Shadow that emerges from each and every single person and/or living thing's normal Shadows in the form of a Animal and/or something else where on both Wodahs and Slamina do the all of the people and/or living beings called these unusual Shadows "Shadow Animals." that only awaken inside of the ones that deem worthy of working and/or fighting alongside with and now a group of corrupted people calling themseleves the "Night-Brigade." are atempting to missuse their Shadow Animals to help them achieve not just world domination but also universal domination and now you all must obiviously decide as your individual characters along with their individual shadows which you also must control yourseleves if you are part of the good guys and/or the Night-Brigade? History-His past and origin are unknown, All that is known about him is that he currently leads the Night-Brigade and was possibly the one who had founded it.

Personality- Chaotic. Happy and kind one moment, angry and cruel the next. Tends to laugh a lot.

 

Appearance- 6'2" tall, but is usually hunched over. Brown dread locks hang about his head and face with a thick beard covering the lower half of his face. Sharp green eyes. Wears tattered clothes, mainly a torn up cape with a hood. Wrappings on his hands and feet.

 

History- Appearing three years ago, no one knew where the man know as Jest came from or who he had been, not even himself. Possessing a volatile, random nature, not many peopled dare try to help him, much to his amusement. Now with things heating up around him, he has his hands full decided what path will be the most fun.

"Soon.....Very soon.....The World will fall to my Power and then.....THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WILL FOLLOW!!!!!" Said the Leader of the Shadow Brigade.

Jest rocked back and forth on his heels, giggling slightly. The big guy in charge of the Shadow Brigade was bellowing again. He had some sort of evil plan going. Jest had sneaked into the Brigadier's lair for the fun of it. He knew he'd be found, sooner or later, but it was too funny listening to this guy to pass up.

"Hmm? Oh Jest, Is that you? Goood, Very goood, I have a mission for you which you cannot refuse." Said the Leader.

Jest poked his head from around a corner to look at the Brigadier.

"How do you know me?" He demanded.

He bounded out of his hiding place and landed on a chair. He crouched on it and fixed the Brigadier with a scrutinizing gaze.

"And will this mission be fun?" He said in a lighter tone.

"Oh yes very, In fact, It requires that use your Hyena Dragon in battle." Said the Brigadier.

"Pfft" Jest said with a wave of a hand. "That's not quiet a reason enough for me to want to what you say, old boy."

He giggled a little.

"Not that it takes too much to convince me of stuff, you'll still have to do better."
