As you all know there are a number of different codes everyone uses in basic day-to-day forum posted. Knowing these codes make it easier than to click the button so I decided to make a list of the codes and their appearance.

 

Here is a very simple list of codes: (Please note that there are no spaces in the actual code. There may be spaces when you want to type the "TEXT")

 

Bold: [ b ] TEXT [ /b ]

Italics: [ i ] TEXT [ /i ]

Colors: [ color=red or blue or yellow or green or gold ] TEXT [ /color ]

Underline: [ u ] TEXT [ /u ]

Hi This is a quote

: [ quote ] Insert quoted text [ /quote ]

Change font size: [ size= number 1-20 ] Text [ /size ]

 

 

 

So there is your simple list of codes that will greatly enhance your forum skills. Known them and use them. They are to your advantage. If anyone wants to post a code just post it in this thread and I'll post it on the list.

Kinda. It only has one type of code, I think. So I made a more in depth look at the codes and actually posted them here so you all can see.

We could just add these to the stickied one. Like she asked for if some were missing.
