I say we make one!!! I have a good understanding of Javascript, HTML...etc. So, any ideas? Because that's how you start one, with an idea...

Okay, okay...I'm actually feeling a Kingdom Hearts MMORPG. So, we've established what the MMORPG is about...so what's the objective? Work your way from a novice to a Keyblade master? Rise through the ranks of an organization like Organization XIII?

 

Also, we're gonna need a company name...ideas?

I like that idea! And I like the 'be a member of Organization XIII' idea! Sounds fun!

Well, Organization XIII wouldn't work. Because it's called "Organization XIII" so, it wouldn't work. Unless we had Organization XIII at the leader of the pack, and have mini organizations on the side. Ya know, work your way through each organization and work your way not only to Organization XIII, but to be the leader of Organization XIII.

 

But let's keep brainstorming, it's going good.

Indeed it would, but something we need is a graphic designer...someone who can draw characters and weapons.

I was thinking that you would be a normal guy and that once you become "pure of heart" or you "give in to the darkness". You would get the Kingdom Key or the Kingdom Key D. This would be for the PvP mode. Now the story mode is a bit more complecated. I would reason that we should make it so you start out with whatever weapon you class has. The classes would be magician,soilder,Guardian, and maybe as an exclusive princess of heart? The magician would obviously focus on elements as donald does and have a Area Of Effect attack such as a firestorm or meteor shower thing. The guardian would be kinda like goofy but have a hammer instead of a shield or a shield at a certain level. The guardian class takes alot of damage and works well with magicians. The soilder class would have a sword and be big. I was thinking kinda like petes figure but less fat. He would attack the ememies. Maybe we would get other ideas for soilder once BBS comes out. The princess of heart class would be a healer type/ protection. They would have a mace (which is a studded hammer) so they can also attack. They would have light attacks and heal party members. The light attacks would bve light a beam of light or they would say "open your heart" and deal a certain amount of damage to dark type enemies or bosses. The "open your heart" attack would be a very high level attack near the end of the story mode.

 

 

Yea that's alot haha. Now for the enemies. The enemies would be heartless in places that have been over run with heartless but most would be normal things we would see in that world depending on what time period we make it in. If we wanted we could make org members a final boss. The enemies would have to be already in the area and Aggro (aggressively attack if we get close) the player. Maybe we could have random roaming heartless in patrol? Now for our allies. Our allies would be people like leon who do not have to stay in the world. They would roam with us. I was thinking our allies would be leon,cloud,yuffie, and other people that don't have a specified world. Maybe the king? The people that would give us mission would be the people that area in that world or server if we multiple servers or campains.

 

As you can probably see I play a lot of MMORPG's. Currently I'm playing guild wars. Let me know what yout think of my ideas and what you would want to add.

I would like to share with all of you an aspect that will, unfortunately, put a damper on things. We cannot do a MMORPG based on Kingdom Hearts due to copyright laws. Also, people who play a Kingdom Hearts MMORPG would be praying for that Disney aspect of the series, so we would have to get permission from not only Square Enix, but from Disney as well. So I think we should back-track a little bit and go back to a "Non-Kingdom Hearts MMORPG"

 

I hope that this will not discourage anyone who wanted a Kingdom Hearts MMORPG, and I hope that we can go ahead and move on with just a plain MMORPG.

if we are doing a non-kh one, make sure it DOESN'T INVOLVE ELVES. pretty much every mmorpg has elves in it

Okay...I'll tell you what. I want EVERYONE to start brainstorming...anything that comes to mind, please share it. I am going to start working on an outline tonight.

Well my thing wouldn't change that much. We just remove the princess of heart class and add a healer/priest/monk or w/e class that deals with protection and whatnot. And the enemies would be like wolves and weird creatures and such.
