'kay, normally I don't go out of my way to post my art here at KH13, even though I love the site, I'm often too busy... but I felt this was important. You can click it for a larger version in a new tab, or, there are links below to see it on deviantart or tumblr.

THE PLEDGE: Everyone deserves to be respected for who they are. I pledge to spread this message to my friends, family and neighbors. I’ll speak up against hate and intolerance whenever I see it, at school and at work. I’ll provide hope for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and other bullied teens by letting them know that “It Gets Better.”http://www.ItGetsBetter.org/

Many LGBT youth can’t picture what their lives might be like as openly gay adults. They can’t imagine a future for themselves. I’ve been a fan of anime and video games just about as long as I’ve known I’m lesbian. I was 13. I was too scared to come out to my parents until I was 18. I’m 21 now and I’m here to tell you: Yes, life is rough. But please persevere because things CAN and DO get better. I have a wonderful girlfriend and we’ve been living together for like five years now and it is awesome.

Embellishing our fandoms with gay and lesbian scenarios isn’t just some ‘fetish’ for a great many of us. It’s just as natural to us, and we wish it was just as natural for everyone else. Some of us are going through hard times and we make up these elaborate universes to escape reality, whether it’s a roleplay with a friend or a fanfic many chapters in the works. We don’t create these things to squick out the people who are disturbed by them. We create these works so other people who can relate will find them and feel some comfort in them.

I’ll keep this short and sweet and leave it at that. If you guys need someone to talk to, I’m here for you.

SoRiku version on deviantART: link to that

And here is where I posted it on tumblr: in case anyone would like to reblog it from there

AkuRoku version on deviantART: link

And on tumblr: here

Last but not least, this video is what brought this on:

(( You have no idea how it was for me to draw Sora and Riku looking happy after being brought to tears over that. ))

...umm... art details... I drew these in Paint Tool SAI? >_>;; That's about it. Not sure if or when I'll have time to color these. If you want to color them, you're welcome to, so long as you follow the rules in the description I left on deviantART (linking back and all that good stuff).
