(It's took me about 3 hours to find the right pictures to use and a good theme, and I couldn't copy and paste the pics so it took me longer to type it down. So, yeah... 3 hours for the whole thing even though it's not that long.)

Zalor nodded and started to walk with Paul to the pokemon league. After about 20 minutes, they got to the gate to Victory Road. "You cannot pass without all 8 gym badges!" The gate keeper said. Zalor and Paul showed him the badges. "You may pass!" The gate keeper said and the gate opened. Zalor looked at Paul. "Let's go!" Zalor said.

Paul looked at Zalor. "Once we leave here we may change forever." Paul said and walked inside.

Zalor looked at Paul and nodded. "I know." Zalor said and walked inside with Paul. It took about an hour for them to reach the top, from all of the trainers wanting battles. Zalor sighed. "Thank god my pokemon could take those blows." Zalor said and smiled.

"I just hope that one of us becomes the new champion." Paul said. "So who do we battle first?" Paul asked Zalor.

"How about I fight Shauntal, and you fight Marshal?" Zalor asked.

"Fine with me." Paul said and walked to the area with Marshal. The battle began. Paul was using Victonia and Marshal was using Sawk. Victonia used Flame Dash on Sawk, but Sawk dodged it and used Stone Edge. Victonia dodged it and used Fusion Flame, the attack hit Sawk and then Sawk used Karate Chop. The attack hit Victonia and Victonia used V-Create. The attack made both pokemon faint.

Zalor walked into the area of Shauntal. She used Jellicent and Zalor used Clemomile. Clemomile used Magical Toss and Magical Leaf at the same time which caused Shauntal's Jellicent to faint and Shantal sent out Golurk and Clemomile used Magical Leaf on it. Making it faint before it could respond. Shantal sent out Cofriendigarus.

Now Paul and Marshal were on their last pokemon. Paul had out Rioca and Marshal had out Mienshao. Damon used Aura Sphere on Mienshao and Mienshao was hit by it. Mienshao used Jump Kick but Rioca dodge it cause Meinshao to hit itself. Rioca then used ExtremeSpeed and then Mienshao fell to the floor and fainted. The winner was Paul. Paul got out of there and headed for Caitlin.

After Zalor beat Shauntal, she headed for Grimsley. When Zalor entered, She looked around. (Fancy, Much?) Zalor thought and walked over to Grimsley. He looked up at her with a smile. "You must be Zalor. Isn't it?" Grimsley asked Zalor. Zalor nodded and took out one of her pokeballs. "And I heard your name is Grimsley?" Zalor asked sarcasticly. Grimsley nodded and took out one of his pokeballs. "Scrafty, Go!" Grimsley called out and threw out his pokeball. Zalor grinned. "A Scrafty, eh? That's a good pokemon, But mine is better!" Zalor said and threw out Osgrave.

(Eh? No one replied yet? That sucks...)

When Paul was defeat Caitlin, he went in to battle Shauntal. They battled until they both had one pokemon left. Paul had out Gigalith and Shauntal had out Jellicent. "Okay now, Giga use Sandstorm." Giga made the area go into a sandstorm. "Okay, now Jellicent, use surf." Jellicent used out a powerful surf attack. Giga used Stone Edge. ...... A few moments later, both pokemon were about to give in. "Now it is time, Giga use Explosion." Paul told it. Giga exploded and then the area was unseeable. Paul had put down an item with Giga so the attack would hit. Moments later, the smoke cleared and Paul found that Jellicent was still standing. "And the match goes to me." Shauntal said. Paul returned Giga and then fell to the ground. "I can't believe....I lost." Paul said. Shauntal went over to him and help him get up. "Look, I had a great battle with you. I haven't seen anyone with so much powerful and trust in their pokemon before. I do however think you have a hidden talent that you haven't seen yet. When we were battling, I saw you as more of an actor. After reading so much I know what I mean." she told Paul. Paul looked at her. "Well, I was in a play once, but I didn't think I had what it takes. My secret dream is to become a Perform of both acting and singing." Paul told her. "Well, then, I think you should go for it. I have heard that they were looking for someone new to take stage in Hoenn. I think you should go there and follow your dreams." Shauntal said. "Thanks ma'am." Paul said. He then got out of the room and waited in the lobby for Zalor.

Zalor beat Grimsley in less then 15 minutes. "Hehe. I finally beat my last record!" Zalor said and headed for Caitlin. She entered the room. "*sigh* Another fancy one?" Zalor said. "Who disturbs my slumber..." A voice croaked. Caitlin got out of her "bed" and walked to Zalor. "Oh. Another trainer, eh?" Caitlin said. "Let's just fight already..." Zalor replied. "Okay then, I won't go so easy on you!" Caitlin yelled and sent out Musharna. "A Musharna? Hm... I might have one who can beat that. Zoroark, go!" Zalor said, throwing out Zoroark's pokeball. "You go first." I said.

 

"Musharna, use Reflect!" Caitlin yelled. Musharna then surrounded it's self with light, the light disappeared though. "I had a feeling you would use that, Zoroark jump behind Musharna and use Dark void!" Zalor yelled. Zoroark then jumped behind Musharna and used it's attack. Musharna fainted with the one hit. "Musharna return!" Caitlin said. After the other three pokemon Zalor won with just Zoroark. Zalor then walked out and walked to Marshal's arena, thingy...

 

"Ah, Zalor. Ready for the champion?" Marshal said once Zalor entered. "You know it!" Zalor replied. Marshal has known Zalor ever sense she first became a pokemon trainer. "Always ready for a battle." Marshal said. "Well, enough talking let's battle!" Zalor said and sent out Sawk. "Okay, Pikachu go!" Zalor yelled. Pikachu jumped off Zalor's shoulder and in front of Zalor. "Let me see how much stronger you've gotten." Marshal said. "Okay. Pikachu jump and use Poison tail!" Zalor yelled. Pikachu jumped. "Sawk dodge it!" Marshal yelled. Sawk was a bit too slow and got hit. He fainted. "Sawk is still stupid as ever?" Zalor said. Marshal nodded and sent out Throh.

"Great..." Zalor said. Zalor sighed. "Pikachu, use Poison tail again. And use agility at the same time." Zalor said. Pikachu started running, then jumped in the air and smached Throh into the ground with it's tail.

 

Marshal sighed. "Throh return..." Marshal said sadly, returning his pokemon. "Okay. Let's have a two on two battle." Marshal said. I nodded with a smile. This was going to be great! "Okay. Conkeldurr, Meinshao, come on out!" Marshal said, sending out the two pokemon. "Osgrave, come out!" Zalor said, sending out her pokemon. "You go first." Zalor said. "Okay then! Conkeldurr use Retaliate! Meinshao use Jump Kick!" Marshal called out. "Osgrave! Use Sky Attack! Pikachu use Poison Tail!" I replied. Osgrave flew straight at Conkeldurr and Pikachu dodged the attack and hit Meinshao as it was going by, making Meinshao hit right into the wall harder then usual.

 

"Ouch..." I said at the hit. Meinshao fainted but Conkeldurr was still up. "Okay. Osgrave, use Brave Bird! Pikachu use Poison Tail! At the same time!" Zalor added. Pikachu then ran at Conkeldurr and Osgrave charged in the air. As soon as they hit, there was a massive explosion. As the dust and light cleared, it revealed a fainted Pikachu, Osgrave and Conkeldurr. "Wow..." Marshal and Zalor said at the same time. "Well, you won. But Alder isn't here right now. You could wait in the lobby, and you won't have to fight us again if you beat him." Marshal said, giving Zalor a thumbs up. "Thanks Marshal." I said and left. I walked to the lobby and saw Paul waiting.

 

"Hey." Zalor said simply.

Paul looked at Zalor and tried to smile. "I didn't make it, I got defeated by Shauntal." Paul told her.

Zalor could obviously see that Paul was sad that he lost. "It's okay you know. I've lost many of times. Many people have. I've known Marshal ever sense I first became a trainer." Zalor said. "And he lost more then 10 times from me." She added. "Anyways. Alder wasn't there and Marshal told me to come back here and wait." Zalor said with a sigh. "At least I've got you with me. I'd be bored if you weren't." Zalor said, pulling out one of her pokeballs that didn't have a pokemon in it. "Oh yeah. I suggest you get some more pokeballs. Because after my battle with Alder, were going to my region. And the pokemon there are very strong." Zalor said putting her pokeball back as she saw Alder walking towards the gate. "Well. Here I go. Peace." Zalor said and walked over.

Paul thought to himself, 'Maybe that is what you think the plan is. But what does my heart tell me to do?' Paul walked over to Zalor. "I am going to watch this battle. It could be the last time you be a normal trainer." Paul said.

Zalor nodded. "Zalor. It's been a long time." Alder said. Zalor turned back to Alder and smiled. "Yeah. And you still look like a old man." Zalor said, making Alder have a sweat-mark appear. Zalor laughed. "Well, let's battle." Zalor said. Alder nodded and the gate opened. Zalor walk through the gate with Paul at her side. The three then went down on a elevator, type thingy and Alder walked off as soon as it hit the ground. Zalor walked off and took out on of her pokeballs and Alder took out one of his. "Let's see who is going to be the real champion." Alder said throwing out Accelgor. "Accelgor... Okay." Zalor said and threw out her strongest pokemon she caught herself in her region, Ivogress. "RAAAAA!!!" Ivogress roared. It then charged at Accelgor with extreme speed.

 

Accelgor was knocked out with one hit. Ivogress came back to Zalor and jumped onto her, licking her face. "Hahaha... I've missed you too Ivo." Zalor said using it's nickname. "Back to the battle, 'kay?" Zalor said. Ivogress nodded and turned towards the fainted pokemon. Zalor looked at Alder and his jaw had dropped. "Um..." Alder shook his head. "Go Bouffalant!" Alder yelled and threw another pokeball out. As soon as Bouffalant came out of it's pokeball, it charged right at Ivogress. "Ivogress dodge it and use Aura Sphere!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress dodged the attack by jumping in the air and landing behind Bouffalant. Ivogress then started to make a blue aura ball from it's tail. Ivogress then shot it at Bouffalant's face, making it slide backwards. But it recovered and was still full of energy.

 

Zalor looked at Ivogress and nodded. "Ivogress, Use Volt Tackle!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress then charged at Bouffalant with blue electricity around it. Ivogress was about to ram into Bouffalant, but Bouffalant hit Ivogress with one of it's horns. Ivogress then flew through the air and hit the wall. The wall then crumbled and fell on top of Ivogress.

 

(Don't faint on me Ivo...) Zalor thought. Zalor then saw a glow underneath the rubble from the wall. The rubble flew away and dust covered the area. When the dust cleared, it revealed a glowing Ivogress. (I was afraid this would happen...) Zalor shook the thought away and turned back to Alder. Ivogress used Zap Cannon on Bouffalant, which sent it flying into a wall.

Paul had his best friend, Oshawott, out with him as they watched the battle. "I know Oshawott, but I dont want to leave her behind. Why did this ever happen?" Paul asked Oshawott. "Osha, oshawott." Oshawott replied meaning 'I think you are worried about this for nothing. She is just another trainer who you just met, get over it and it will be fine. Maybe if you had sticked to the plan, you wouldn't have even met her.' Paul looked at Oshawott, "I can't get over it. We met a new friend, I cant just get up and leave." Paul said. He then noticed that Zalor's pokemon was glowing. "Zalor, whats with the light show?" Paul asked her.

Zalor looked at Paul as soon as Bouffalant fainted. "Ivogress, does that." Zalor lied. She didn't want to tell him Ivogress' secret. Zalor then turned back to Alder as he returned Buffalant. "Good job. But I still have four more pokemon left." Alder said with a grin. Zalor nodded and grinned back. "And I have six strong pokemon." Zalor replied. Alder chuckled and threw out Druddigon. "Another one of those." Zalor said with a sigh. "Ivogress, use Psycho Boost!" Zalor called out. Ivogress then had a red aura around it, but it soon disappeared. "Use Superpower Druddigon!" Alder called out. Druddigon started to run towards Ivogress fast. "Use Volt Tackle!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress then charged in with the blue electricity around it and smashed right into Druddigon, making it fly backwards and faint. After Alder sent out Vanilluxe and Excavalier, who all fainted, Alder finally sent out Volcarona.

 

"Okay Ivogress, be ready." Zalor said. Zalor knew her other pokemon weren't strong enough, even though they are all from her region. That was the only reason she brought out Ivogress. "You go first Alder." Zalor said. Alder nodded. "Volcarona! Use overheat!" Alder called out. "Use Counter!" Zalor called as soon as Volcarona used it's attack. Ivogress then shot the move back at Volcarona. Volcarona staggered a little but stayed up. (Oh great... This is going to be long.) Zalor thought.

Paul and Oshawott were still talking to each other. "Look, I am not leaving her, I dont care if I would be giving up a dream." Paul told Oshwott. 'So you would give up your dreams to just be with one girl? Whatever happened to the Paul I once knew? He would have never been like this.' Oshawott told Paul. "I am still the same guy, just a guy who grew up." Paul said. He then looked back at the battle. 'But what if I do leave her behind?' Paul asked himself in his mind. "Come on, Zalor! You can do it!" Paul said.

Zalor heard cheering and knew it was Paul. Zalor nodded, with her eyes still focused on the battle. Ivogress was starting to get weak, but it was still strong enough to use a couple of moves more. "Okay Volcarona, use Hyper Beam again!" Alder yelled. "Dodge it Ivo!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress jumped away and dodged the move. "Use Zap Cannon one more time!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress then shot the ball of electricity at Volcarona and, it finally hit! (Yes!) Zalor screamed in her mind. "Okay Ivo! This is it! Use Nian Thunder Explosion!" Zalor yelled. Ivogress then released all of it's energy, making a massive explosion. Luckily, Zalor already backed away and so did Alder. After the smoke cleared, it revealed....

A fainted Volcarona and Ivogress. "Both pokemon fainted. But Zalor beat all of champion Alder's pokemon. Zalor and her pokemon Ivogress win!" The announcer said. Zalor walked to Ivogress. "You did a very good job Ivo." Zalor said, putting her hand on top of Ivogress' head. "You deserve a good rest." Zalor added and started taking out Ivo's pokeball. But Ivogress put Zalor's hand down with it's tail. Zalor looked at Ivo. 'I don't need the pokeball... I'm fine.' Ivogress said in Zalor's mind. Zalor was shocked at first but nodded. Zalor put the pokeball away and Ivogress got up. "Well. You won." Alder said. "And now is the time for you to fully become the champion." Alder added. Zalor smiled and nodded. 'Paul is right.... This is my last chance as a normal pokemon trainer....' Zalor shook the thought away. 'I may have to leave Paul... But, it was my mission to go alone.... I guess I did need someone to talk to, even through these past 6 years alone....' Zalor shook her thoughts away again. Zalor looked at Paul, who looked like he was talking to his Oshawott. 'Figures.' Zalor thought. "Your coming too!" Zalor yelled at Paul.

Paul and Oshawott got up. "I wouldn't miss this moment for the world." Paul told her. 'Figures as much. But this is great, she becomes champion and then you can leave her behind.' Oshawott told Paul.

Pikachu jumped off Zalor's shoulder and looked at Oshawott. "Pika! Pika pika!" Pikachu told Oshawott. Pikachu started to have it's blue electricity come out of it's cheeks as a warning of something that Oshawott said. Pikachu then came back to Zalor and jumped back onto her shoulder. "Pika... Pika pika." Pikachu replied, saying 'We should have just gone alone on your mission... If we never met him. We would have been fine...And you wouldn't have another heart break.' Pikachu told Zalor. Zalor sighed. "I know.... We should have sticked to the plan..." Zalor whispered. (Urg.... I'm so stupid!) Zalor yelled in her mind. "Hey! Are you two coming or not?!" Alder said. Zalor nodded and walked through the door Alder went through. She then saw the same thing she always put her pokeballs onto when she beat a champion. Zalor walked in front of it. "You know how to do this, right?" Alder asked. Zalor nodded and took out all of her pokeballs. She looked at Ivogress who was at her side. "Come on Ivo." Zalor said and took out it's pokeball. Ivogress nodded and got returned.

 

Zalor put Ivogress' pokeball first, and then Clemomile, Pytorient, Zoroark, and Osgrave. It already had Pikachu's data, somehow. Zalor then saw the pokeballs start to glow. After her pokemon's data, she saw a picture of herself doing her normal pose for pics she took. It then disappeared, as if the power went out. "Well. You are now registered as champion." Alder said. Zalor smiled and nodded. "Well. Now I have to go back to my home town and tell my friends and everyone." Zalor said.

Paul got a little sad about how this was the end of his Unova journey, but was more sad that this was the last time he would get to be with Zalor. "This so great for you, Zalor. This is a good way to end a Unova Journey." Paul said. 'Really, dude? Just kiss her and leave for Hoenn already.' Oshawott told Paul. "So Zalor, how about we get out of here?" Paul asked her.

Zalor nodded. She then grabbed her pokeballs and walked out with Paul. After they got outside, Zalor took out Osgrave's pokeball. "Well. I guess, this is it." Zalor said with a smile. "When I defeated Grimsley. I heard what Shauntal said to you. She's right. You have your dreams and I've got mine. But that doesn't mean we can't stay friends." Zalor said. "And maybe, we'll see eachother again. One day." Zalor added.

"I just never met anyone like you before. It will be so hard to say goodbye. I just never thought that I would ever get the chance to do this dream. So with that, I bid you a good farewell." Paul said. He started to walk away when he turned back and went to Zalor. "I forgot something." Paul said and kissed Zalor.
