Xigbar stepped from a portal to his room in the Castle That Never Was. He had just gotten through a long mission with Lexaeus. Nice conversationalist, old Rockface. He flopped on his bad. He groaned when he realized he was laying onto of some mail. He got up and looked at what he got while he was gone.

Bill from the moogles store in the castle.

Saix reminding him about some recruitment junk.

Another bill from the moogle store.

A bill from the Traverse Town store? How'd they get this address?

And finally, a letter from Xemnas.

Xigbar took the letter and opened it.

"'Xigbar, blah blah blah, Kingdom Hearts, blah blah, kill something.'" he said as he read the letter.

He was surprised by the letter, so he read it again.

"'You are reassigned from recruitment to normal mission duties until further notice'?" he read aloud.

What was wrong with his recruitment job? He had found Flowerboy, hadn't he?

He slapped his head.

"Idiot. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

Now he got to just kill stuff and work with some of the fun people. He opened a portal out to check on some of the others.

Axel and Roxas ate some ice cream, Once Roxas finished he looked for a winner on his stick. "No luck today I guess." Axel had his stick in his mouth.

 

When they were done Roxas started to head for his room. He stopped for a second. He saw another image of the boy with the red pants."Ugh, my head, why do I always get these weird images?" Roxas shook the thought out of his mind and headed for bed.

Axel had fun with Roxas. But as a Nobody, 'fun' was a subjective term. As he walked through the Castles' corridors, he recalled the days events. They were boring, then were spiced up at the end. As usual. On his way though, he passed by Xigbar.

 

"Hey! One-eye!" Axel said, taunting.

Xigbar grinned.

"Well, well. If it ain't the bestest of buds." he said in his normal, lazy tone. "How's things going, Flamesilocks?"

Demyx shrugged and walked into the gray area wondering what that could have been about. He summoned his sitar and sat cross-legged on the floor. He started to hum softly as his hands gently brushed against the sitar's strings making a calm slow tune.

Axel chuckeled. "Not much. Besides being bored with Mr. Bookworm, and getting hounded by Vexen all day, it was your average Monday." Axel grinned, before spying Demyx down by the Grey Room. Axel chuckeled to himself, thinking of evil things to do to poor Demyx.

"Xigbar, what are you up to?"

Roxas had another one of those 'unexplainable, yet frightening dreams' again. He sat up in shock. He felt his face, his was dripping fluid, 'was it sweat, or tears?' He shook his head trying to calm himself down. This dream had a world disappear and people screaming and being turned into heartless. why did he have these nightmares. Well, he didn't want to stay in his bed and fall asleep again, so he headed outside in the halls.

Demyx focused on his sitar strumming lightly. After a while his mind drifted to what everyone else up to.

" Where are they anyways he mummbled to himself not bothering to looking up from his sitar to search.

Zexion walked around the Castle now heading to the Mission Room to stock up on items. "The Moogle had it's prices go up again. 160 for a high potion, 230 for a elixir, and 200 for mega ether......................" He sighed as he bought 3 high potions, 3 elixirs, and 3 mega ethers for a grand total of 1750 munny. "I need to see if I can maybe find some out in Twilight Town......................"

"Everyone, I've just been told by Saix, everybody including myself will be training tomorrow."

When Roxas got out and heard what Vexen said, he didn't feel that good to do training. He knew Saix would be all over him if he didn't.

Xigbar grinned at Vexen.

"Little o' this, little o' that." he said. "You know, the usual. Looks like I'm joining this little scout group for now, though.

Xigbar spotted Roxas.

"Hey there, tiger. You been good?"

''According to Saix, the first part of the training will be magic.''

Roxas glared at Xigbar, "Don't call me that!" Roxas never liked it when Xigbar called him 'tiger' and Xigbar just made him mad.

''Everyone, report to the traning hall.''

Demyx grummbled and stood up.

" Fine..." He made his sitar dissapear.

Axel snickered at Xigbar's teasing. He stopped when Vexen called them for training.

"Training? Who does he think we are? I know enough. Make stuff go boom, burn stuff...yadda yadda..." This grumbling and complaining continued as he walked to the training hall.

''Xigbar, you're up first.''

Zexion followed along knowing that he would be one of the best with magic. Physical attacks however where a different story but now he watched everyone else as they went while he held his book to his side. "Magic's first with Xigbar going now well this should be very interesting indeed." He thought as a smirk appeared on his face. Oh the trouble he could cause.

Demyx slumped a little as he slowly made his way to the trainging hall.

" This is no fun..." He whined upon reaching the hall although he had been there less than a minute.

Xigbar grinned at Roxas's reaction. The kid was so easy to get a rise out of. Xigbar yawned as he moved over to Vexen.

"So what's the game plan, Vex?" he asked. "Am I doing the same old 'see spot, blast spot with fire' stuff or is this going to be fun?"

''This will be a Thunder challenge.". Vexen snapped his fingers and out many Nobodies.

"Oh great, thunder. Great thing Larxene isnt here, or we would all be dead." Roxas summoned his keyblade.

Xigbar laughed at Roxas's remark.

"We'd only be dead once she was done torturing us." he said in a jovial tone.

Xigbar walked forward and stared at the nobodies Vexen had summoned. He sniffed once then blinked away from everyone's sight. He reappeared hanging upside down above the targets.

"Thunder!" he said in an overly dramatic voice and a snap of his fingers, blasting the target nobodies with the lightning spell.
