Based off of the Disney Channel show, Wizards of Waverly Place, this RP takes place in New York City and the Wizard World. But, all is not well in both of the worlds. A new villian has surface and now plots to end the Family Wizard Compatition to have everyone keep there powers so the evil wizards can come and help take over the Wizard World and the Real World. The bad guy's name is Thomas Pain. He has already gotten a few wizards on his side. Now the hope for the future lies on the hands of the good wizards.

Bio: Moved to New York City when he was 7. He grew up as an only child so he got to keep his powers his whole life. He figured out he was a wizard at age 8. He specialize in Water and Ice spells. He now lives next to boardway.

Thomas was still in his HQ. Thomas was coming up with ways that he could get everyone to follow his cause. Thomas was always a hard thinker. As for Danny, Danny was searching all over for Paul and had no idea where he was. "I must have lost him." Danny said as he sat down in a chair for the next showing of "THE LION KING" on broadway. Paul used his magic and poped up at the school. Paul had just taken a job as Vice Princpal of the school to make sure young wizards were safe from harm. He saw Rain walk in and looked at her. "Ah, so you are the little helper I heard about. You here to help with the mail?" Paul asked her.

Rain looked up from reading the label on a letter and smiled at Paul, nodding "Yes, sir. My name is Rain. I'm a new student." she re-read the label and put the letter in the correct box that was addressed to a teacher. she then looked down at her feet to see how tall she was and blinks, looking back at Paul "Am I really that little?" she says, then shrugs and continues sorting the mail

Jarl regarded Miki closely. Was she trying something? He doubt she was doing anything too sinister. Still, best to think through the answers before answering.

"As far as I know, he's hiding in his secret lair, I suppose." he said with a shrug.

He gave Miki a questioning look.

"Why the interest in Thomas Pain?"

Miki got up and shook her head. "Nothing, nothing. Just curiosity." She crossed her arms. I can't let him know my true motives, she thought, regardless if he's a wizard; thomas is a threat and needs to be taken out. "Secrect lair...." she said to herself and pulled her still damp hair back. It'd be nice if Jarl was more spcific on where this lair was, she thought and sighes

Jarl smiled.

"My dear Miki." he said in a soothing tone. "I started our association on a biases of avoiding tedious verbal sparring trying to get the other to admit something while saying nothing in return."

Jarl lightly hit his wand on his leg and muttered something, turning the cane back into a cane. He placed the cane directly in front of him and placed both hands on its head.

"I might be able to tell you exactly where Mr. Pain is, but I would need to know why you wanted to know."

Miki just smiled at him, but she was frowning on the inside. Oh great, she thought, the last thing i need is to tell him a reason. Miki scratched that back on her head in thought. "Well...." she started but had a long pause. She didn't want to give anything away. "......i was hoping to meet him." she said calmly, careful not to give anything away from her voice.

"Oh?" Jarl asked.

He began to walk around Miki at a respectful distance.

"An odd reason to see a man who seems to be on everyone's naughty list of late. But for now, I'll accept it."

He held up a warning finger.

"For now." He repeated.

He dropped his hand to his side, continuing his circling. The tap of his cane on the concrete echoing through the warehouse.

"With that reason, I'd have to ask what you wanted to do after meting him?"

Miki just watched as Jarl circled her. Act casual, she thought. Miki shruged her shoulders like she was relaxed. "Haven't really thought about that yet." she simply said. Man, i'm good at making impressions, she thought and mentally smiled to herself. "You'rre close frinds with him?" she asked. Miki wanted to shut her eyes and wait until Jarl knew what she was really up too, but he could just be the key to bring Thomas down

Jarl snorted.

"Mr Pain and I have certain...personal differences." he said, his voice a little cold. "His actions are potentially destructive. Possibly, irrevocably so."

He stopped his circling to stand in front of Miki. He didn't think that Miki was intending to join Thomas, but perhaps it was best to give the impression that he did.

"If you intend to lend him aid, I'm afraid I can not help you."

Miki looked annoyed for a second. Grrr, she thought, and i thought this would be easy. All i need is the damn location and i take take care of business from there. Miki looked up at Jarl. So does that mean he's working for him..... Her thoughts got caught off and her mind filled with what she should do this second but Miki just stood there and stared at him.

Jarl sighed.

"See?" he asked. "We talk in vague terms and now we are at a stand still. To by pass this, I shall be blunt. I want Thomas Pain gone. Whether that is to a prison, what ever afterlife he has earned himself or something else entirely, I don't care. But he must be stopped."

He narrowed his eyes at Miki.

"I do not believe you wish to join him. That leaves the trivial reason you gave for wanting to see Thomas Pain or something more violent. If the former, I'm less likely to help. If the latter, then perhaps we can join forces."

Miki jusst stood ther for a second. Without thinking, she bursts out laughing, a creepy kind of laughing. Lightning envelopes her body and her hair floats at bit and energy is zaping out everywhere. She was unharmed but seems to be enjoying herself a little too much. The sudden power surge goes off like and switch and miki stops laughing. "Dont think i'll be working for Thomas Pain any time soon." She says and smirks. "There's always a way for finding people."

Jarl maintained a neutral expression on his face during Miki's display. When it was over, he sniffed once.

"Pardon me." he said. "It seems I have cast you in a too weak position in this. Allow me to rephrase. We have an common goal. We can be of help to each other, not just in giving locations. If you don't want my aid, say so and I will bid you farewell."

Jarl lapsed into silence to wait and see what Miki would do. She was proving to be more unpredictable then he had original thought. Her connection to Thomas Pain, whether a past or future connection seemed all the more intriguing.

Miki's eyes narrowed a bit, considering his offer. "Help each other? Where are you going with this?" She asked. She could still feel the small hairs on her neck stick up from all that electricity. She was ready to pull out her wand and ditch him but she felt kinda drained out from all that magic she was releasing. Since when does the goods guys help the bad guys, she thought, i need to take percautions with this, but just in case things go bad, i have just the trick that will work.....

Jarl raised his eyebrows.

"I thought I made that clear." he said. "I am suggesting an alliance together against Thomas Pain. If that does not interest you, then please say so and we can drop this line of discussion."

Jarl was beginning to rethink his offer to Miki. She didn't seem like the type to wait. Jarl knew that the best course of action to take against Thomas would take time and patience. Would Miki understand and go along with that?

Miki closed her eyes and sighed. "Alright. You've convinced me. I usually work alone but it wouldnt hurt partnering up." Seems trustworthy, she thought, but any sign of betrayal and i'l blow him sky high. She opened her eyes and stuck out her hand. "So it's a deal then." She said and smled at him

Jarl stared at Miki's hand for a moment. Was it worth trying to go through with a deal with her? If she acted without a proper plan, both of them could be in a very bad situation.

The ends of Jarl's lips turned up a fraction of an inch. Risks were a part of the game. If he didn't want to take risks, he needed to get out of the game. He reached out and took Miki's hand.

"Very well." He said clearly. "Partners."

Miki smiled as she shook his hand. "Now then. A liar, huh? Couldnt we just look there first?" She asked. Even though we might go there, thomas could just pop out of anywhere, she thought, so it wouldn't hurt to stay on guard. Plus i need to calm down a bit so i dont go power surging in public. Miki planted her hands on her hips. "Shall we get going?"

Jarl took in a deep breath.

"For a simple recon mission, very well." he said.

He raised a warning finger.

"But that is it. We need to be a little better prepared before we take direct action against Pain."

That said, be tapped his cane on the ground. An unnatural echo bounced around the warehouse and a doorway appeared beside where Jarl and Miki were standing.

"After you." he said, giving Miki a formal bow.

Miki and went through the doorway. "Better prepared..." she said ine thought and tapped her chin with her finger. "Im guessing this requires me to learn more spell.." shee said and sighed. she didnt feel like working on new spells but she had to. " okay then." She said and waved her hands. She conjured up a huge spell book and it landed with a thud into the ground.

Jarl stepped throught the "door" after Miki. He preferred the direct portal type of portal spells. Easier on the body. He glanced at Miki's spell book, then at her.

"Might I suggest we do that else were?" he said. "This is Pain's place. If you wish to learn something more, I can take us somewhere a little more safe."

Miki gave a wryly smile."yeah..." she said and waved her hand again. The book shrunk and flew into her hand. "Since you seem to know where to go, why dont you lead the way?" She said and stepped aside. She placed the tiny book into her pocket and smiled at Jarl. I think we just might run into Thomas, she thought

Jarl sighed.

"Very well." he said. "Follow close and keep quiet."

Jarl led the way. It was large and seemed to be set up to house multiple people.

"He's consolidating." Jarl mentally noted. "Not a good sign."

Jarl stopped and looked at his cane. He couldn't feel other wizards here. That was not good. Who knew how many Thomas had around here at the moment.

Miki felt her wand viberate in her boot but it quickly stopped. Ooh, looks like we've got company, she thought and looked around. This Thomas guy and his minions must be all over the place. Miki kept her mouth shut and followed Jarl. She couldn't help think about what they might run into from the feeling that wizards are around.

Paul looked back at Rain. "Well, if you want to make yourself taller, why not wish for it?" Paul asked her. Paul knew that this girl was of magic.

 

Danny was coming up with a plan to get Paul when he was listening to the Broadway cast do the number of 'Be Perpared'.
