In the province of Skyrim, there exist the divinities that all recognize. Shrines of these Nine Divines litter the land.

But the general populace knows not of the other shrines in their land. Shrines dedicated to the Daedric Lords, malevolent beings who cause havoc in the world. Choosing champions to further their will, the Daedric Lords distort the worship of the Nine Divines and both are ready to fight.

Now, Skyrim becomes the battleground for a new conflict. One between warriors unaccustomed to Skyrim. Chosen warriors summoned from across time and space to battle for control of Skyrim. This is the new war of the gods.

Riften

Name: Kara

Race in Skyrim: Imperial

Gender: Female

Original Franchise: White Knight Chronicles

Divinity(s): Arkay, Malacath

Weapon: Knight's sword and Black Knight's Ark

Appearance:

Bio: One of the pactmakers from the Dogma Wars, Kara was awakened 10,000 years later by her "brother" Seti to help him conquer the world. Instead, she turned against him and was murder by Shapur, who stole her Knight's Ark. Later, she revealed that she was rescued from death by an unknown force. Her appearance in Skyrim must have some connection...

Name: Black Knight Dinivas

Divinity: none

Weapon: Longsword, magic, Ebonwings

Appearance:

Bio: A weapon of war created by the Yshrenian Empire to destroy their opponents, the Athwani. The Black Knight stands over 7 meters (that's about 21 feet) tall. Only the Knight's pactmaker may even touch the Ark; anyone else who tries will be forcefully attacked by the Ark itself.

I'm still near the beginning... will High Hrothgar count? I remember that. (Beowulf references FTW!)

**Note: Sorry about the long description. >.< Feel free to just read this. Basically they're brothers, and they have shifter powers, et cetera, et cetera. I like describing my characters. ^^

Name: Nyx Cross

Race in Skyrim: Imperial

Gender: Male

Original Franchise: Original

Divinity(s): Azura

Weapon: The Dusk Bow, plus the Twilight Blade. He also has his claws if necessary.

Appearance: Nyx is 20, and is 6’1” (height), and muscular, but still lean. He’s bigger than Ivaylo, but hardly enough for there to be a big difference between the two. His skin slightly tanned by the sun, but time in Skyrim with all the snow and often cloudy days, it has faded with time. He has a scar vertically down the inner part of his right forearm. His hair is down to his shoulders that is pitch black. He often has it tied up to keep it out of his way. He has violet eyes. His clothing usually consists of simple, light leather armor that allows him to move faster and with more accuracy.

Bio: Nyx, along with his twin moved to Skyrim when there home country was destroyed from the inside by a civil war. He doesn’t like to talk of the past, but to keep suspicions low, he’ll tell anyone who asks that he comes froma far away country called, “Moon Flower,” which is the English translation. They both barely made it to Skyrim alive. Of course once there, the Nords gave these twin foreigners a hard time, thinking them Imperials. Nyx is actually a cat shifter, the opposite of his twin. This gives him a quiet grace. He does some work for the Dark Brotherhood and the Theives Guild, but does not belong to either of the organizations exclusively. He does this so that all his time can we be spent protecting his little brother. His goal is to raise enough money to buy a house within the city walls, but that dreams pretty far off. It was only chance that made Nyx and Ivaylo chosen warriors for Azura.

Name: Ivaylo Cross

Race in Skyrim: Imperial

Gender: Male

Original Franchise: Original

Divinity(s): Azura

Weapon: The Dawn Bow, plus the Day Break Sword. He has his animal form as well.

Appearance: Ivaylo is 20, and is 6’0”(height), and is lean. He’s slightly smaller than Nyx, but only when the two are seen together. Much like Nyx, he is slightly tanned, but time away from the sun has cause it to fade. He has a scar vertically down the inner part of his left forearm. His hair is also black, but he prefers to keep it slightly shorter. He has golden eyes. He often follows his brother’s clothing style when he wears armor, but he prefers the loose, easy to move in miner’s clothing for everyday wear.

Bio: Ivaylo moved with his twin to Skyrim when they were very young. Do to the ridicule they faced, his brother became serious and strong. Ivaylo became the opposite, trying to prove to the Nords that not everybody was as bad as the Nords thought they were. He became rowdy, and comedic, with a smile always planted on his face. What the Nords don’t know about him is that he is a wolf shifter, an art passed down through the Cross generation. Nyx learned the art as well, becoming a cat instead of a wolf though. Ivaylo gets along well with the Companions Guild, who sensed a different, but similar beast inside him. He runs a small meat stall in Solitude, but his brother and he live outside of the city in the nearby farm lands. He understand why his brother was chosen as a warrior of the divines, but he is having troubles believing he was chosen as well, and often questions himself.

Ah, what the heck...We can start now.

OOC: Alright!

"Well, it could be worse." Kara pressed against the stone wall, peeking around the corner. There were... one, two... four mammoths blocking the way, and one very angry giant behind them. Apparently, they were pets. Pets that their owners were very wary of. "We'll just find another way around."

How long had it been since she arrived in this "Skyrim"? A week or two, maybe? In that time, she had managed to antagonize giants, antagonize the Stormcloaks, bandits, a vampire... suffic eit to say that she hadn't made many friends in this new world.

Kara pulled herself up on top of the stoney hill, looking back before trotting down the other side. It looked like the giants were letting her go. Oh well. Just one more thing to get in the way. It seemed that the world didn't want her to get to Whiterun, but hopefully there would be answers there worth all of this trouble.

Johnny awoke inside a strange sort of stone structure.

"Ugh..." Johnny moaned. "My head..."

As he looked around, he saw several priests surrounding him.

"Who are you?" one of them asked.

"Johnny Madman, Soldier 1st Class," he replied. "If I did something here, now would be a really good time to tell me."

The priests continued to stare at him. Johnny began to get uncomfortable and looked for a way out. He saw an open window above and moved for it.

"Wait!" one of the priests said as Johnny jumped up for a rafter and climbed up it. Johnny ignored him as he leapt out the window...

...and began to fall into a city of stone.

Johnny had not known how high up he had been. As he fell, Johnny aimed a cable at a nearby bridge. The cable attached and Johnny swung into the marketplace. The people there noticed his sudden arrival.

"Halt!" a guard said as he ran up to Johnny.

Johnny turned to the guard, "What seems to be the problem?"

"What do you think you're doing?"

Johnny chuckled and then sighed, "Just trying to figure out where I am."

The guard laughed, "Ah, typical drunk." The guard put his arm on Johnny and continued, "You're in Markarth. One of the Holds of Skyrim."

Johnny was taken aback, "Skyrim? How the hell did I get here?"

Johnny exited through the great doors of Markarth. As he left, he saw the expansive mountains that covered the land. He immediately went for his communicator to call Jaina or Biggs or someone. No one replied. The communicator could not lock onto a signal. Johnny was fully alone in the world.

Johnny sighed, "Looks like a brand-new adventure..."

Bio: A core made by Aperture Laboratories to monitor the Enrichment Center, Wheatley is a little bit out of place in Skyrim. While Wheatley doesn't mind humans, he's a little disappointed in the lack of any other robots.

Nyx awoke with a start, sitting up. He let his racing heart calm before he looked around the room. All was silent, meaning his brother had already left for Solitude. He stood, pulling on fresh clothes, and pulling his hair back. It was one of his rare days off; he would take advantage of it by spending it with his brother. He walked into the main room, finding breakfast already on the table, awaiting him. It was a bowl of cut up fruit with his brother's special sauce that kept the fruit good for longer periods of time. Nyx ate quickly, and set the bowl in the basket of dishes that needed to be cleaned. He grimaced as he thought of his brother having to do all the work around the house. It would be better once they lived in the city...

Ivaylo smiled politely at a woman who walked up. She was knew to him, but he recognized her face. She had just recently moved in with her aunt and uncle, who ran the stables just outside the city. He didn't know anything beyond that though. "What will it be?" he asked

"Just some Venison..." she said shyly.

While Ivaylo began to pack the meat, he asked her, "You're new to the city?" She just nodded silently in response. "Let me just say welcome then. Most people can be kind of unfriendly, but just smile and they'll warm up to you quickly," he said, handing her the package.

She blinked, staring at him like she was confused, before a smile erupted on her face. "Thank you." She gave him his money, put the meat in her basket and hurried away, leaving Ivaylo staring after her with a small smile.

It was still early in the morning, but the sun was already hot on his shoulders. The stall wasn't as busy as usual, but he didn't mind. It gave him a chance to think.

She had traded one war for another, and she had no place in either.

Kara moved gingerly through Whiterun, watching as the guards rushed past her. A few would glance her way for a second, but no one stopped to question her. Did she really stand out that much? Apparently, there had been a dragon attack somewhere called Helgen. She had heard that name before. It was somewhere around Falkreath, right? That's where this whole mess started...

"Excuse me." She pulled one of the guards aside. "I need some help."

"Please stay inside, ma'am. Believe me, you won't want to be out here if a dragon strikes."

"Actually, I do." Kara replied, her tone a little sharp. "I need to meet with your king."

Johnny had wandered for a few hours outside Markarth before he found trouble.

A group known as the Forsworn had taken a lady hostage and were moving to one of their bases of operations. Johnny had followed them for a while before they came to a series of platforms over a river.

As Johnny watched, their leader (?) pulled a knife and began chanting, as if this was a form of ritual. As Johnny watched, he grew more and more concerned with the woman.

Xehanort looked over the land of Skyrim from atop the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. It reminded him of years ago, before he took this body, when he still lived on the islands. How he dreaded every day.

"This world is just too small," he thought aloud.

But now, Xehanort stood triumphant. He was given the chance to change the world by Mehrunes Dagon. To prove his theory of the Keyblade War. And then use it himself.

"Xehanort," the statue of Mehrunes began talking. "Go forth and spread our terror across Skyrim."

Xehanort leapt off of the shrine and landed near a road, "This world will fear me, and then it will bow to me."

Wheatley looked around the corner of a building in Whiterun. Wherever he was, he did not feel welcome. Apparently, the people here didn't see robots very much, so Wheatley was automatically thought of as witchcraft or rare Dwener equipment. Whatever that meant.

Even more pressing matters at hand was his new body. Sure, it allowed him to move around, but he still wasn't quite used to walking and other motions.

"Well," Wheatley said as quiet as possible. "It could be worse. She could have put me in the incinerator." Wheatley sat down behind the building and began to play with his portal gun.

A Jarl? What was wrong with the word 'king'? Kara began to move up through the city, guards pushing her to the side in their hurry. Why would a dragon attack Whiterun? Actually, most people seem to believe it was a trick. Either way, she was prett sure that the city was safe.

She made her was through the stalls before something caught her eye. It was... not from this world, to be sure. It looked almost like a tiny Knight. Was there a tiny person inside? The Yshrinians used babies, so it was possible...

"Excuse me." She stood over Wheatley. "I don't mean to be rude, but you don't belong here, do you?"

Wherever this place was, it was awesome!

Caeser kicked back, propping feet up on the long wooden table. The keep was pretty cozy, although he wished it would stop snowing. Apparently, it didn't stop snowing. It always snowed.

Always.

"I just wish I brought a heavier jacket." Caeser threw the drink back, setting the tankard on the table in front of him. "No, what was it were asking about, Jarl..."

"Korir." The Jarl replied. "You claim to have experience with dragons, just as there are claims of dragons appearing in Skyrim. I cannot pass this off as mere coincidence."

"So you want me to do something about the dragons?" Caesar pulled his feet down, leaning on the table now.

"I want you to defend Winterhold if a dragon attacks us. I must admit, our power in Skyrim has been deteriorating for some time now. There are other cities that I'm sure would ask the same of you. But I am hoping that together, not only as warriros but as leaders, we can rebuild our once-great city."

Caeser mulled the idea around in his head. From the maps he had seen, Skyrim was a pretty big place. There had to be plenty of cool stuff to see. But then again, as a leader and Knight he couldn't just abandon people who needed him. "Alright, I'll help. But I can't stay forever."

Nyx soon found himself in the city. Without even thinking, he headed for his brother's stall, passing people. Some people seemed to recognize him, but none said anything. Most everybody knew he did business with the Dark Brotherhood and the Theives Guild, so they kept their distance. He didn't mind one bit, but his brother minded. He tried to get him involved with others, but it never worked out. No matter how hard they tried, this place wouldn't be home, house or not.

He entered the market, spotting his brother out of the crowd quickly. He went around the stall, clapping a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Ivaylo, you left without me this morning," he said softly.

Ivaylo glanced at his brother, before smiling. "It would have taken an explosion to wake you up, brother. Did you find breakfast?" Nyx nodded silently, making Ivaylo chuckle lightly.

A sudden yell made both the brothers glance. A man was being chased by the guards and he had a bag stuffed full of stolen goods. Ivaylo went to move to help, but Nyx grabbed his wrist, and shook his head quickly. "It's none of our business. Let the guards handle it..."

Ivaylo growled aloud, pulling his hand away, but he stayed behind his stall, watching silently as the theif and guards disappeared out of sight.

"We should hunt today," Nyx said, staring straight ahead.

Ivaylo glanced at his brother, before he replied, "We'd have to travel to hunt. We don't want to be so close to the hold..."

"Then let's leave now."

Ivaylo shook his head. "I can't just leave the stall..." he said.

Nyx stared at his brother, about to reply. A rain drop on his head made him flinch slightly. He smiled glancing up. "You can't run your stall in the rain..."

His brother looked up at the sky, blinking in surprise. Just moments ago it had been dry as a bone, and so sunny it was hot. He let out a sigh. "Help me pack everything up..."

The brother's quickly packed the meats, putting it in Ivaylo's cart he used to carry it all back and forth from the house to town. They left, heading back home. When they exited the city, the rain began to grow heavier, and by the time they reached hom, the brother's were soaked. After putting the meats in a cool dry place, stored away, the brother's left their shack, and ran into the woods behind their shack.

Wheatley heard the voice and registered it. Someone had noticed him. Wheatley's brain began to suggest defensive maneuvers.

He rolled over and screamed, "AUGH!!! Human! You're...good. Actually looking good."

Wheatley pushed himself off the ground, "Hi! I'm Wheatley. And you would happen to be?"

---------------

Xehanort had walked for a while before he reached a small village.

They called it Dawnstar.

As Xehanort walked into town, he heard word of nightmares plaguing the town. Perfect for drawing out a Keyblade wielder.

Xehanort headed into one of the mines, as far as he could go down. Then, he saw another person there, passed out from lack of sleep and exhaustion. With one hand, Xehanort summoned a dark power that turned the man into a Heartless.

Xehanort smiled, "Now it begins."

He was apparently some sort of automaton. "My name is Kara. It is a pleasure to meet you, Wheatley."

This had to be more than a coincidence; two people (?) who didn't belong in this world. "You are definitely more advanced than anything I've seen so far. Do you know how you got here?"

Snow. Snow. Snow. Fox. Snow. Rabbit. More snow.

Maybe there wasn't as much to this new land as Caeser had originally thought. Korir had askd him to move south to Windhelm. Apparently, something was going on with the Jarl there that may turn out bad for the rest of Skyrim. And even though he was admiring the beauty of the landscape (they have two moons!), his thoughts always turned back to dragons.

It seems that the dragons of this wolrd are different from the dragons in his. Hopefully their methods of communication aren't that different. But then again, he had only heard rumors so far. The existence of dragons here had yet to be proven as far as he knew.

'You know, making mountains out of molehills and all that.' He thought to himself.

The brother's tore off their human flesh to take their animal forms. The rain barely penetrated their thick coats of black fur. Although slightly larger, Nyx had the advantage as they ran. He dug his claws deep into the wet earth, propelling him forward faster. Ivaylo kept up alright, his powerful muscles working in a smooth rhythm that could only be achieved by an animal. As they ran, further and further away from the city, deeper into the forest, the rain turned to snow, and the land began to go uphill in what could be seen as the beginning of a mountain. Eventually the brothers had to stop to catch their breath. The great cat's lungs moved in and out as he breathed in cold air. The wolf shook his pelt clean, but already had sprinkles of snow littering his black pelt. The brothers met eyes, and a private exchange passed between them. They both began trotting back down hill, deciding they were likely to find more prey where it wasn't so cold. Nyx took the lead, gracefully placing one paw in front of the other in a brisk walk. Ivaylo trotted after, his thick tail wagging slightly.

They had a careful system when they hunted. Nyx or Ivaylo would chase the prey right into the open jaws of the other. It was a wolf's way of hunting, and easier to do with a bigger pack, but it was just the two. Nyx often didn't hunt alone, so he had adapted his natural loner instinct to hunt by himself to a way that better fit his brother's natural style. He preferred the chase while his brother preferred the kill. Of course, they'd switch roles after every kill, just so Nyx got his share of the kill, and Ivaylo his share of the chase. After a long day of hunting, Ivaylo had eaten more than his fill and was now laying down in the light sprinkle of snow, sleeping it off. Nyx was well, and was licking his paws clean. Nyx would prefer if the brother's lived like this, instead of as humans.

Johnny continued to watch until the leader began to make his move. In the split second that the leader took to raise his knife, Johnny had pulled out his rifle and got his aim. The arm went for the girl, Johnny's finger to the trigger.

The bullet tore through the hand of the leader and hit the leg of another Forsworn. As soon as everyone registered what had happened, all eyes were on Johnny.

He leapt down from his rocky perch and pulled out the Hero's Heart, his standard Keyblade. He saw the maiden's face light up as Johnny taunted the group before him, "How come nobody invited me to this party?"

The first Forsworn ran up to Johnny, only to be cloths-lined by the Keyblade. Before the attacker could hit the ground, Johnny caught him and threw him into the river.

"Who else wants to try?"

Wheatley went through his memory circuits to answer Kara, "All I remember is being at Aperture, and then POOF! I'm in the center of this town! And then everyone starts hitting me! Ugh! Whatever happened to the robots?"

Robots? The term wasn't familiar. It was obviously something from his own world.

"I am going to see the Jarl. I'm hoping to find some kind of clue as to why I... we have been pulled here. Would you care to join me?"

Windhelm. Such a nice name for a-

"Dump!" Caeser eyed the buildings as soon as he entered. IT almost seemed as if the entire city would collapse at any second. And from what he had heard, this wasn't even the worst of it. The "Grey Quarter", as they caled it, was apparently the slums and home to the city's Dark Elf population. Every fact that Caeser learned about this place made him want to turn around and leave. But...

He couldn't. Apparently the Jarl here was expecting him. What was his name again? Jarl... eh, he'd find out.

Name: Kyle Shadowscale

Race in Skyrim: Argonian

Gender: Male

Original Franchise: Elder ScrollsD

Divinity: Sithis (if it's okay)

Weapon: Blade of Woe, Blade's Sword, Dwarven Bow, Steel Arrows, Magic

Appearance: Posted Image (Wearing Dark Brotherhood robes)

Bio: Kyle was born under the sign of the Shadow, earning him the name of Shadowscale. He was taken from Black Marsh to Skyrim where he was raised in the Dawnstar Sanctuary. He was trained to follow the ways of Sithis the Dread Father, and the Night Mother. One day, he looked upon the corpse of the Night Mother and heard her voice, telling him of a contract. The others did not believe him until the contract proved true. Thus he was named Listener. During his travels to complete his contracts, he found himself at the Mage Colledge in Whiterun, where he was taught magic.

"Ivaylo, we're not far from Dawnstar. How about we travel to Winterhold and visit Azura's shrine," Nyx said, staring off towards the trees.

Ivaylo, still full from his large feast just let out a light groan. "Whatever you want, Brother..."

"It will be easier if we take the main road straight to Dawnstar, and follow that straight to the shrine. Everywhere else is too treacherous to travel," he said thoughtfully. Nyx glanced at his brother, before frowning, annoyed. Ivaylo snored loudly, deep in sleep. "Ivaylo, wake up... Ivaylo!"

Ivaylo stirred, sitting up. "I'm sleepy though..." He rubbed his eyes.

"...You've been sleeping for hours..."

"Must be why I'm so tired," Ivaylo replied, before he smiled. Nyx just sighed, and shook his head.

"Come one, Brother. Let's get going. If we want to get back home by tomorrow night, we have to leave now," Nyx replied, already walking away.

"Why are we visiting Azura's shrine?" Ivaylo asked, standing. He had to jog lightly to catch up.

"Because we are Azura's chosen champions. The least we could do is go and visit her shrine for a bit..."

Ivaylo fell silent, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. They walked in silence down the trail. The brisk pace that Nyx set made it so they reached Dawnstar quickly, but the town was very unlike itself. Most of the villagers had dark circles under their eyes, and everybody was irritable. Nyx walked, glancing cautiously form side to side. "Something's not right..."

"You're telling me... Maybe it's all the snow. I'd get pretty depressed if we lived by this much snow," Ivaylo said lightly, with a small smile. It faded quickly with a glance from Nyx.

Wheatley began to think, "How do you expect us to get to the Jarl or whatever his name was? Those ugly humans..." He shot a quick glance at Kara, "I mean...uh...the very good-looking humans don't like the very sight of me. I mean, if you've got a plan, now would be a really good time to switch to your plan."

------------------

Xehanort smiled. His plan was coming into fruition. Heartless are the key to finding a Keyblade wielder, so why not unleash the pitiful creatures in this realm?

Shadows had begun to consume hearts throughout the town. More and more Heartless appeared with every soul consumed. Occasionally, one guard managed to fight off a few, only for Xehanort to release his heart.

Xehanort laughed, "Come, brave Keyblade wielder! The war begins now!"

Nyx gazed at small black creatures pouring from the mines. They looked harmless... until they were attacking the towns people in small hordes, dragging them down in a fit of screaming and a horrid black mass.

Ivaylo took a step back, staring. "I don't think it's the snow..." he said quietly.

"Run!"

Nyx and Ivaylo went to turn and run out of town the way they had come, but it was blocked by more creatures. There was only way out, and it was the sudden cliff next to the road. It was easy to see that that way was blocked by the black creatures, but if they were quick and careful, they might make it out. Nyx went first, sliding down the rocks and landing lightly in the snow. Ivaylo followed his brother's path, glancing back up at the cliff once he was on his feet.

"Do you think he's the cause?" he asked.

Nyx followed his gaze, frowning at a man who was yelling into the sky about weird things like "Keyblade Wielder", whatever that meant. He growled lightly, turning away. "Most likely, but we're heavily outnumbered, and we didn't think to grab our weapons and armor..."

"We should really start carrying that stuff around..." Ivaylo said thoughtfully, until a shake from his brother made him blink.

"Not the time for that! This is serious!"

Nyx glanced past the house, there was group that had just finished... feeding (?) on a small group. If they were anything like a pack of wolves, with that many, that wouldn't be enough to satisfy. He thought for a moment. They'd be faster in their other forms. "Ready to shift?"

"I was born ready?" he asked, looking unsure. Nyx just let out a sigh, leaping into the open. Once his feet hit, his human skin had been shed, replaced by a sleek black pelt. He ran as soon as he hit the ground. Ivaylo paused for a moment, only to see the creatures coming at him. He leapt, shifting in the air, and was running before he hit the cold snow.

Xehanort looked at the two beasts fleeing from the town.

"Leave them be," Xehanort called out to the hordes. "They will fall soon enough. But we require stronger vessels for our own armies." As if by magic, a mighty roar pierced through the air. Xehanort looked up. It was a dragon.

Xehanort summoned the Guardian, "This will be interesting."

(Where are you guys right now?)

Kyle Shadowscale, Listener of the Black Hand, exited the secret entrance to the sanctuary just outside Dawnstar. He checked to see if he had all his weapons and gave a shrill hiss-like whistle. A grand black steed with eyes as red as blood came galloping to him and he climbed on. "Good Shadowmere." he said to the horse, petting it on the side of it's neck. He grabbed the reins and directed them away from Dawnstar and on to where the contract was.

(For those of you who have not played the games, or who haven't done the Dark Brotherhood quests and gotten Shadowmere, it's twice as fast as any of the other horses in the game and cannot be killed)

(Johnny is right outside the Sky Haven Temple, Wheatley is in Whiterun with Kara, and Xehanort is in Dawnstar making a Heartless army)

As Johnny continued to battle the Forsworn, it become apparent that he may not win this one. The Forsworn may not have Johnny's organized combat style, but their barbaric weapons and numbers could overwhelm him.

As Johnny jumped back to avoid an axe, he heard someone calling out.

"Throw me a sword!"

As Johnny looked around, he noticed the girl. She was the one calling out to him!

Johnny looked around and grabbed a fallen Forsworn sword and threw it at the ropes binding the girl's hands. The girl pulled the sword out of the wood and cut herself free.

The tide may have just changed.

Xehanort laughed at the dragon. Whatever the people thought of these creatures had made Xehanort second-guess himself. However, the power of darkness beat whatever the dragon could throw at him.

Xehanort dismissed the Guardian and summoned his Keyblade, "Time to put you to rest, my friend."

Xehanort drove the blade into the chest of the beast, consuming it with a dreadful darkness. The fallen body of the dragon reanimated and let out a terrible roar.

"Pitiful fools!" Xehanort screamed once more. "Skyrim is mine!"

Kyle rode Shadowmere through Red Road Pass on his way to Whiterun. As he left Dawnstar, he had noticed a strange-looking High Elf summoning creatures. It wasn't his problem though, as long as they left his Sanctuary alone. It's not like they could enter it anyways, they needed the answer to the riddle to enter. He shook the thoughts from his head as he rode past Silverdrift Lair and Forsaken Cave.
