In the province of Skyrim, there exist the divinities that all recognize. Shrines of these Nine Divines litter the land.

But the general populace knows not of the other shrines in their land. Shrines dedicated to the Daedric Lords, malevolent beings who cause havoc in the world. Choosing champions to further their will, the Daedric Lords distort the worship of the Nine Divines and both are ready to fight.

Now, Skyrim becomes the battleground for a new conflict. One between warriors unaccustomed to Skyrim. Chosen warriors summoned from across time and space to battle for control of Skyrim. This is the new war of the gods.

Johnny ran up to Kara's side, "Go back to Whiterun. I know what these creatures are and my blade is the only thing that can slay these things for good." Johnny then motioned to the rest of the group, "I'd advise you all do the same. I can handle this by myself."

Kyle stepped up and said "I do not turn tail and run like a frightened kitten. I will send these creatures to the Void with my blade." He drew the Blade's Sword and Blade of Woe. "I will fight by your side until Sithis claims either them or us."

Nyx half-smiled, enjoying the compliment and the man's wide smile. It was... oddly comforting... At least until Caeser's face went distant and he inhaled a sharp breath like he couldn't get enough air. "I suppose... " he said, looking up the steps. Was he okay to walk? He seemed to be fine physically... "Are you alright Caeser?" he asked, frowning at the man.

Ivaylo gazed at the black mass, before looking at the man, "Johnny", who claimed to know of these creatures. Of course, he didn't know if what he said was true, but he didn't like the look of that black horde. He went to Kara, grabbing her arm as she looked like she was about to charge off into battle. "I know I'd hate somebody to tell me this, but you don't look well enough to fight," he said, his golden eyes glancing nervously at the horde closing in.

Johnny watched the horde slowly take over the mountain. As it hit grassland, Johnny summoned his three other Keyblades. One he used in his left hand, the other two he had hover in the air behind him. Johnny turned to Kyle, "I hope you're ready for this."

-----------------

Xehanort watched Johnny stand against the crowd of Heartless.

"Just like a wielder of the Keyblade to sit there blindly," he said to himself.

It was then that Xehanort also noticed the lizard who had decided to stay as well. Pitiful. Xehanort motioned the dragon Heartless to stand down for a while. Xehanort could handle one Keyblade wielder and his lackey, if he even needed to.

"I do not fear death." Kyle said. "If I die, it only means I will be with the Dread Father whom I serve." His bright blue eyes glowed as he pulled his hood up, getting in a fighting pose.

Caeser

"Yeah, I'm fine." He let out a "woot" as he stretched. "I guess getting sucked out of my own world into some frozen realm really takes it out of ya, huh?" He jested, but the feeling remained. "Actually... I'm sorry, I should get back to Windhelm. There's... something I need to be sure of." Caeser gestured behind him to the stone doors. "The old men aren't much of talkers, by the way. Good luck getting whatever you're looking for out of them." The Count stepped down into the frozen slush, passing Nyx with a wide grin. "But let's meet up again! I should be in Windhelm for a whiile." And with that, he began his descent down the mountain, his red coat quickly obscured by the blizzards in the distance.

"Man, I hate stairs."

Kara

"I am fine." She shook Ivaylo from her arm. "I simply need to get used to this world." Actually, she already was. Kara could feel her strength returning slowly, the Knight's power faintly coursing through her. And besides, these black creatures looked to be little threat. Although appearances could be decieving...

Kara adjusted her grip on the blade. There were no second chances. There never were.

The Heartless were a stone's throw away. Johnny made his move. He charged into the crowd, the Keyblades spinning around his body acting as a protective shield. He carved his way through the crowd of Heartless, with each hit destroying one. However, as was the case with Heartless, if one was destroyed, it seemed as if two more took its place.

But these were mere Shadows. Not much of a problem against Keyblade Master material.

But Johnny had to wonder, how exactly did the Heartless get here?

Nyx stared after him, before glancing up at the almost menacing building. Any other time, he would have done what Caeser had said and gone to talk to the Greybeards. But as he saw it now, there were other times for that, and he felt like he was needed. He turned and ran after Caeser, grinning widely when he caught up with him. "My brother must be rubbing off on me," he muttered under his breath, before saying, "I'm coming with you."

Ivaylo gazed at her, surprised. She did look better... after such a powerful fight, he had figured she would be exhausted for a long time, but she was already ready for the fight. He couldn't help but grin as he thought of fighting. This was a fight for territory, which made sense to this wolf. He pulled his Day Break out of it's sheath, diving for the coming darkness, sword swinging.

Kara

Years of conditioning surged into her body as Kara swung her blade, slicing the dark creatures in two. But for every one she slew, two or three took their place. "What is this?!" She took a few hastened steps back, cutting another Shadow down. "There's no end to them!"

Dinivas would be able to crush these creatures. If only she had the strength...

Caeser

"Well, the more the merrier!" Caeser grinned openly, regretting the decision as cold air rushed into his mouth. "Whoo! Not used to that. Is it this cold everywhere? I've been in snow before, but this is insane!"

Johnny continued to swing the blades, hoping that the swarm would finally reveal the master behind all this. However, with every Heartless slain, It became apparent that all they would be able to do is keep the Heartless from breaking Whiterun's walls. If only there were some way to...

Johnny recalled a key factor of slaying Heartless efficiently. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a dragon charm.

Johnny raised the charm above his head and called out, "Bahamut! I require your aid!"

From the charm spewed forth a column of smoke. From that smoke emerged a humanoid dragon, ready for battle.

"You called?" Bahamut asked Johnny.

"I did," Johnny replied. "I need the power of your Flares."

Bahamut ascended into the sky, "Very well." With that, Bahamut began to drop balls of fire onto the horde, destroying the crowd faster than it could replace.

------------------

Xehanort watched as the Keyblade wielder summoned a dragon himself. This was not good, not good at all.

Time to join this battle himself.

Xehanort called the dragon to attack Bahamut while he himself dove off the mountain and into the horde.

Ivaylo was amazed at this groups sheer strength. They just kept surprising him. He shook his head, trying to keep himself focused as he sliced at the dark creatures. The horde seemed never-ending though. He stopped glancing ahead. The man... His eyes widened as he recognized him from before. He was in Dawnstar! Ivaylo narrowly avoided one of the creatures claws, and was forced to return to the battle.

Nyx couldn't help but chuckled, pulling his mask up to protect his face from the icy shards. "No. Where I live in Solitude there isn't much snow. Just rain... Lots of Rain..." He made a slight face, but only his eyes showed it. "Different parts of Skyrim has different weather. You must have only visited the snowy parts yet..."

As Johnny fought, he noticed a flying Heartless start to battle Bahamut. Ok, things haven't gone to hell yet.

And then he looked down.

As his gaze went from the flying Heartless back to the battle below, he saw an eerie figure. One he remembered from a trial not too long ago.

"Xehanort," the words escaped Johnny's lips. And with that, Johnny became enraged and ran at him, Keyblades spinning even faster than before.

"Xehanort!" Johnny screamed as he jumped into the air to attack him.

Xehanort deflected the blow with his own Keyblade and knocked Johnny back into the crowd of Heartless.

Caeser

"Apparently." The Count smiled, thinking about the map he had seen in Windhelm. Solitude was... west of here, right? We had only been in this general area sinc ehe had arrived. Rain sounded nice about now...

"I'm used to the desert. The region I'm from actually doesn't get much snow... actually, I can't remember the last time we did." He had never really thought of it before. Caeser had seen many things since he left Greede, but snow wasn't really one of them. They probably just hadn't been far up north enough for it. "I know it sounds weird, but... what exactly's going on here in Skyrim?"

'Nice transition.'

Kara

That man. The creatures parted like a black ocean for him, and the dark energy he exuded was overwhelming. Kara stood firm, tightening her grip on the sword. Is she could fight Seti, then she could fight this guy.

Kara almost moved forward before Xehanort blew Johnny to the side with ease. She took another step back, unsure of what to do now. Could she hold him off until she could summon Dinivas again?

Nyx glanced at him, pulling his mask down to show his frown. "Well, this may surprise you, but I'm not from Skyrim originally myself. But one thing I can tell you is this has nothing to do with the civil war going on. It's much bigger than that...." Nyx's mind went to Azura, the daedric goddess that had chosen him and his brother. She said hard times were coming, that the Gods themselves were fighting. Nyx glanced to the side. "Do you know of the Gods of this land, Caeser?"

Ivaylo glanced at the girl, before fighting his way over. "Do you have a plan?" he asked her... Kara was her name? She was the one that had summoned that huge thing, and although she looked better than before, he was almost sure her power was still depleted.

Kara

"Of course I do." She said through cleched a clenched jaw. As if these things weren't bad enough on their own...

Kara reached into a small pouch that was tied to her waist, pulling a small clear bottle out. The transluscent red fluid inside jostled about as Kara moved, slicing through a Shadow at the same time. She crushed the vial, the liquid seeping between her fingers. She only had one more shot at this.

Verto!

The Heartless were blown back as Dinivas exploded into existence. She wouldn't be able to maintain the Knight for long, but hopefully she would be able to for long enough.

Caeser

"Gods?" Now that he thought about it, he barely knew anything about his own world's gods. "Not much. Little.,, nothing." Caeser confessed. "But it's a long walk. Enlighten me."

Johnny had hit the ground hard, but he got back up. Not bad.

Xehanort had already gotten to the ground by now, so that was one problem down. Except now, he had summoned the Guardian.

Johnny rushed Xehanort with a flurry of blows. Xehanort moved fast enough to dodge most, but not all, of the attacks.

Xehanort flew slightly back before launching his own assault. Xehanort cast the Guardian at Johnny. Johnny had anticipated this and dodged.

He didn't account for what Xehanort was doing.

Xehanort appeared behind Johnny and assaulted him with dark strikes from the Keyblade. To top it off, the Guardian had appeared and grabbed Johnny. The Guardian held him in the air as Xehanort prepared to stab him with the Keyblade.

"Pitiful," Xehanort taunted. "I had hoped the Keyblade's chosen would have stood a better chance."

Kara

"Not so fast!" Dinivas came down upon the Guardian like a falling tower. The Knight grabbed Johnny with one hand, driving the Heartless into the ground with the other. She set Johnny back onto the ground, being sure he was alright before turning to Xehanort. "I don't know what world you are from, but I do know that you have no right to be here!" The Knight stomped toward the old man, sword in hand. Heartless were crushed underfoot as Dinivas stopped, raising the sword up high. And with a mighty lunge, the weapon came down on him.

Nyx let out a small sigh, hoping that he had at least known a bit. "Well their are nine Divines that people worship in Skyrim, well, eight for sure. Those who oppose the Empire worship nine, but the worship of Talos was banned at the end of the war. So their are nine Divines, and many many daedric lords that are considered evil... besides one or two that aren't considered wholly evil. Azura, the Goddess my brother and I worship told us that a war was coming. I know it may sound crazy, but it sounds like this is a war of Gods rather than humans, and the gods are just picking their Champions..." Nyx was happy to see the town of Ivarstead already. The snow had significantly lessened.

Ivaylo couldn't help but grin when she summoned her giant monster. He slashed down a couple of dark beings.

Johnny looked up at Kara, who had turned back into her black armored form. Interesting.

Johnny got back on his feet and continued to slay Heartless.

Xehanort attempted to dodge the attack from Kara, but to no avail. The attack hit Xehanort and sent him flying slightly backwards.

he was in pain, but he could fix that easily. He called down the dragon Heartless from its battle with Bahamut. Xehanort had seen what this group could do with a normal dragon. How would they handle the challenge of a dragon powered by the darkness?

(In my situation I can't post unless someone else posts. :/)

OOC: Might as well try to post and get this running again.

The dark dragon descended from the sky, blasting the area around Johnny with fire. Johnny had gotten a running start away and called down Bahamut. Once down close enough, Johnny jumped onto Bahamut's back and began a deadly game of dogfighting.

Johnny dismissed his Keyblade and pulled out his rifle. Johnny aimed at the wings of the dragon, hoping to bring the beast down. Johnny fired a few shots before being forced to hold on to Bahamut. The dragon had decided to return fire.
