Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has announced and confirmed that the company will roll out the Wii U across US, Europe, Australia, and Japan before the end of the year. Nintendo wouldn't say exactly when we can expect the Wii U, but we know it will be available sometime after this year's E3 event in June.

 

This sounds very interesting. Hopefully, Nintendo will announce more games for the system so a lot more people will get interested anc convinced to buy a Wii U.

Me too. Nintendo said they wanted to bring the core gamers back anyway. The games that have been announced for it are for us, the core gamers anyway. It's okay, I just thought the topic was going to actually have a release date, like June 23, 2012, for example.
