Continued from the Antagonist, Let's talk about the protagonists. I'm very curious.

 

I actually like Bartz due to his carefree personality, not to mention he flirts with women on occasion, such as Faris as he first sees her in a princess gown in Final Fantasy V.

 

Second ranking would have to be....Zidane. Does he need a reason to help anyone?

I also like Kain Highwind (FFIV) and Luneth (FFIIIDS).

Either Leon or Zack. I like both of there characters alot.

Vaan wasn't the protagonist of FFXII. I'd say Ashe, or Basch, or even Balthier. Vaan was just the person through who's eyes we were seeing everything (he was useless).

 

He's not entirely useless. I find he brings the story and everyone else in it together quite nicely. Plus it's charming how dumb he is. Ah, the joys of a 17 yr old acting 17.

 

Besides that, LAGUNA FOR LYFE, YO.
