tutti frutti. I am sharing credit in creating this thread with fellow member devereauxr from our conversation from earlier. Devereauxr and myself had the idea of someone else possibly being more of a threat than Master Xehanort. What if there was somebody who was more of a threat in the series than MX? Some of my thoughts regarding this is: Eraqus mentioned people barring knowledge, and Xehanort and Eraqus having little knowledge on the Keyblade War. Though we have had our own thoughts as to who this person could be and what they may be after here are a couple of things I thought of and will add on as the thread moves on. Thoughts on this thread.

1. Though it may still seem iffy, that the person better than MX over the events of the series could be Xehanort's and Eraqus's previous master.

2. Someone could have already obtained the full power of KH and the X-Blade

3. The ones taht Eraqus mentioned about those barring knowledge to others could abuse their purpose

4. It could be those that have originally created KH, X-Blade, and the Keyblade.

For some weird reason, I would bet money that Vanitas will overpower Xehanort to become the new big enemy of the series after all, he is 100% EVIL

Darkness =/= Evil Eraqus. Just becasue he has a heart of pure Darkness doesn't mean he's pure evil. For all we know, Xehanort could have forced him to do those things. All Vanitas wanted was to be whole.

Looking at the way he's acted I highly doubt he was forced.

Well, from what I've been told by someone who read the Vanitas chapter of the BBS novel, he didn't want the Unversed getting killed, because he could feel their pain and it made him sad.

Vanitas said he hated emotions and how weak they made him, is why he's so hostile to Ventus.

You didn't need to be a douche about it and post it four times. As I said, I was told by someone who read it. Besides, I'm not saying that he isn't evil, but that you shouldn't assume that he's 100% evil because he's pure darkness.

Another thing against Vanitas becoming the new, big bad guy is that he doesn't have the patients to make a detailed plan and stick to it. He even tried to actually kill Ven during their first encounter at the Keyblade Graveyard, against his master's plan. I think that he'd just go on a rampage, destroying everything he could. In a nutshell, he's too much of a blunt instrument to be an evil mastermind.

Actually I always kind of thought that Yen Sid was their Master. Disney characters don't age like original characters do. Also MX stated in his reports that he was a disobedient student and while speaking to Terra Yen Sid stated how he had hoped that Xehanorts heart would no longer lead him astray. The reason that they don't refer to him as "Master" could be because he's retired and they've been masters longer than Mickey and Aqua so they could have outgrown the habit.

As for Xehanort as cheesy as it sounds I think he may be an agent of the darkness itself. He may no longer even be human at all but a physical embodiment of darkness. By this I don't mean he's a heartless but an empty shell being controlled by darkness. What once was human is now no more than a puppet. Weak theory I know but it was actually inspired be the Amatsu Mikaboshi. For those of you into Shinto Lore you might know what I'm talking about. For those who are completely lost follow this link. http://www.quasisemi...atsu-mikaboshi/ Over all the concept is quite similar to darkness in Kingdom Hearts.

tutti frutti. I remember Eraqus stating that Yen Sid was a friend of his, despite whether or not Yen Sid still uses the keyblade.I wish that Square would do some extra stuff on Eraqus and MX's background outside of what was shown in BBS. After thinking about it, that theory of MX being a puppet does make sense. I could definitely see it to where darkness itself can actually take control of the individual, I guess similar to how Soul Calibur the Soul edge would take control of the character if they are not strong enough. Darkness has been known to be difficult to control. And at the very least someone or something form the darkness could take control of other characters, if not the darkness itself.
